For those of you who know about the Los Angeles Dodgers (formerly the Brooklyn Dodgers), Vin Scully has been announcing their games since 1949. Well, after 67 years of announcing for the Dodgers, once this baseball season is over, he is finally retiring. Seeing how long his career lasted, he truly is a living legend!

Reminds me of when Ernie Harwell hung it up as the announcer for the Detroit Tigers. Some announcers are just truly iconic.

Today is his last game. Quite a game to end it on too. The Dodgers are playing against the San Fransisco Giants, who have been their longtime rival team.

Vin Scully had such an iconic voice. I'm going to miss hearing him say, "It's time for Dodger Baseball!"
