Is it the same trailer on YouTube, focusing on Balthazar Bratt?
Cause I didn't see a trailer for DM3 when I saw Sing, I saw trailers for basically animated films that will SUCK, (Emoji and Boss Baby), and the film called "A Dog's Purpose".

Well, now that it's 2017, it's time for my first thoughts on the upcoming animated films of the year:
Surf's Up 2: WaveMania - Doubt. The Red Turtle - Foreign film? Alrighty. The Lego Batman Movie - Hell yeah! Rock Dog - Soulless much? The Boss Baby - Retch. Smurfs: The Lost Village - Hopefully an improvement. Animal Crackers - This looks weird. The Nut Job 2 - Oh no you didn't! Captain Underpants - It's gonna hoit. Cars 3 - Park it, Pixar. Despicable Me 3 - Awesome! Blazing Samurai - I just don't know. The Emoji Movie - What the hell?? The Lego Ninjago Movie - I never watched the show so we'll see? My Little Pony - Shark bait... Coco - That'll be cool! The Star - Maybe. Ferdinand - Sure, why not?
Subject to change as more info comes.

Go right ahead, babclayman. Also, to answer your question about the Lego movies, we've actually got a ton of them coming up!

So it turns out Surf's Up 2 is just going to be a direct-to-DVD release.

It's worse than that. Surf's Up 2 is a DTV WWE-funded film.

Looks like I hit the nail on the head with AniMatt's best and worst of 2016, now here are his thoughts on 2017:
The Lego Batman Movie - Looks like fun. Rock Dog - Generic crap! The Boss Baby - Alec Baldwin is a baby! Smurfs: The Lost Village - Better than the last time! Spark - What is this? Nut Job 2 - Why? Captain Underpants - Actually pretty hopeful. Cars 3 - Oh good! Is he okay? Despicable Me 3 - Hey, look! Gru's back! Blazing Samurai - Good chance it'll be funny. The Emoji Movie - WHY DO YOU DO THIS, SONY??? Ninjago - Is Batman not enough? My Little Pony - Is Equestria Girls not enough? The Star - Maybe it has potential... Coco - ...but this one has a lot more. Ferdinand - Hey, at least it's not another Ice Age sequel!

The Lego Ninjago Movie - I never watched the show so we'll see? My Little Pony - Shark bait... The Star - Maybe. Coco - That'll be cool! Ferdinand - Sure, why not? Not sure maybe it was because there were so many big ones to look forward to in 2016 this year might be a bit underwhelming.

Trey_Vore: I don't know. Based on Matt's reactions, he sees potential in most of these films. The only ones he truly has doubts about are Rock Dog, Boss Baby, Nut Job 2 and the Emoji movie; also the My Little Pony and Ninjago movies left him a little confused, but other than that, he sees promise in everything else. I don't know what happened to Animal Crackers and The Red Turtle, and Spark I've heard about earlier, but it just came out of nowhere here. babclayman: Yes, Blue Sky is doing the Ferdinand movie. That's not necessarily a bad thing, even though the Ice Age sequels are hurting their reputation. I know Disney did a Ferdinand short, but it's based on a fairy tale. Also, Monster Truck is not an animated film.

Okay, so there has been a lot of talk about the Golden Globes around here lately, but I'd like to bring this discussion back.
I've counted, and we have a total of 18 animated films coming out this year. I've decided to split them into six groups of three based on my plans for the ones I'm going to see or not:
Group 1: These are must-see films for me! Despicable Me 3 Blazing Samurai My Little Pony: The Movie
Group 2: I plan to see these films, but I'm not as hyped about them as the ones in Group 1. Rock Dog Spark Coco
Group 3: These look promising, but I probably won't see them theatrically. Animal Crackers The Star Ferdinand
Group 4: I don't plan to go see these films, but if some friends invite me, then sure, I'll bite. The Lego Batman Movie Smurfs: The Lost Village Cars 3
Group 5: Slim chance I will see these, but definitely not theatrically. The Red Turtle The Nut Job 2 Ninjago: The Movie
Group 6: I'm avoiding these at all costs! The Boss Baby Captain Underpants Emojimovie: Express Yourself
What do you pups think?

Also, Monster Truck is not an animated film. Well Rock Dog will probably just appeal to the lowest common denominator, The Boss Baby is another example of a high concept film, with The Nut Job 2 I didn't even like the first movie and I don't see how The Emoji Movie will work. He's also not a Pony fan. You can also attack DreamWorks for being hit-or-miss, Sony for giving us animated junk and Fox and Blue Sky for the endless sequels to Ice Age but one thing they all have in common is critical acclaim or not they make money. There is only one film studio that really has yet to prove themselves in the animated film regard, and that's... the WB. The reason for that is because more often than not an animated film from the WB, wheter its because of them not really having the marketing strength or some other reason, critical acclaim or not is a dud at the box-office. Quest for Camelot, The King and I, The Iron Giant, Osmosis Jones, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action were all bombs. The Polar Express and Happy Feet did come close but the latter's sequel forget it. Even last year's Storks needed foreign grosses to make a profit; the only real success they had was The Lego Movie. Hence the reason for two Lego movies this year.

I admt, I haven' seen much Promotion for; "Rock Dog". Technically, it is a 2016 Film, since it did air in China in 2016.
Though, base on the Images and Story, I see of it, it'll probably be a hrmlss Film.
Like I claim before, Bss Bby looks like the type of Film, you would see the Characters wtching in a St Com.
While the Lego Bat Man is a Maybe, I do intend to watch Cars III & Coco.
You see the Videos, for Cars III, Pups!? ;3

He's also not a Pony fan. Well, I agree 100% with the Emoji movie; I just don't see how it works. Nobody likes the Nut Job. As for Boss Baby, it looks to me like they're running out of ideas, and I know Dreamworks can do better (fortunately they do have How to Train Your Dragon 3, Madagascar 4 and Shrek 5 in the works). Obviously he's not a Pony fan, and I think you're forgetting that Ninjago is already based on a TV series on Cartoon Network. True. Disney and Pixar have been dominating the animated film industry this decade, and Illumination is very close to matching their success, but the rest have those issues you addressed. You're forgetting that ever since the 1930's, Warner Brothers has been a huge rival for Disney. Granted, they're not their #1 rival anymore, but they're still rivals nonetheless. I might also add that we are getting like FIVE Lego movies in 2019! I'm actually not joking! Also, like I said, Ninjago is based on a long-running series on Cartoon Network, so I don't see how it should count as part of the Lego Movie franchise.
