Here is a new fanfic by me; my special Christmas gift to my friends here on Sparky's!
------------------------------------------
It was Christmas Eve on Dearly Farm, and once again, the Dalmatians were having a white Christmas. It was always a tradition for them to have a Christmas party together celebrating the festivities and doing all the many traditions that everyone loved to do at Christmas.
Several pups were decorating the Christmas tree putting up special ornaments. Lucky and Two-Tone had a special ornament of their own to place on the tree.
"So, Two-Tone," said Lucky, "are you ready to put this on the tree?"
"You bet I am," said Two-Tone with a smile.
Two-Tone then positioned herself for Lucky to climb onto her shoulders. Lucky climbed onto Two-Tone's shoulders so that he could reach the branch to put their ornament on.
"It looks so lovely on the tree," said Two-Tone.
Lucky nodded in agreement. However, he and Two-Tone looked around the tree and noticed other couples doing the same thing they were doing. Some pups even piled up in threes to reach the higher branches.
Belchic and Tippy took notice of this, and they were happy to see other pup couples getting enjoyment out of shoulder rides as much as they did.
One other couple who was also placing their ornament on the tree was Shadow and Rosalina, one of the first couples that Belchic convinced that piggyback rides were fun.
"Easy now. Steady," Shadow said to Rosalina as she was holding onto him tightly on her shoulders. Shadow managed to get their ornament on the tree. Though Shadow didn't have any doubts they would fall since he knew how strong and athletic his girlfriend was.
Shadow then got off of Rosalina and asked her, "So, what next? Shall we go kiss under the mistletoe?"
"Sounds like a plan to me," Rosalina smiled.
They went over to the mistletoe but only to discover that there was apparently a long line of other pup couples waiting to kiss under the mistletoe! The couple who was currently under the mistletoe was Vlad and Katrina. Cadpig was there too taking a picture of each couple. Though being camera shy, Katrina requested to have Vlad in front of her as they kissed. The next couple up was Atlas and Penny.
"You still want to go through with this?" Shadow asked Rosalina.
Before Rosalina could answer, her stomach growled. She blushed and giggled, "I don't think my stomach wants to wait."
"Let's go check out what kind of Christmas goodies we have," said Shadow. "If I know Autumn, she's there already."
"If they have plumb pudding, I could dunk my feet into it and have you lick it all off," said Rosalina with a grin.
"You had me at feet!" smirked Shadow.
They walked over to the goody station. As Shadow expected, Autumn was there munching on Christmas cookies. Sitting on her shoulders was little Joey. On the other side of the table was another familiar couple. It was Rolly and Chloe. Chloe was holding up Rolly on her shoulders as he grabbed food items for the two of them.
"Oh, papa! We're gonna have quite a feast!" said Rolly.
Chloe however got too excited that she dropped Rolly. They still had fun though.
Joey soon got bored and decided to explore the barn to see what some of the other pups were up to. He slid down Autumn's fat belly, which caused her to giggle. "I'll come back a little later," he said as he trotted off.
Joey saw a lot of couples cuddling with each other. Tripod was cuddling with Winter. Arcane was cuddling with Nicoletta. This was a time to be with someone you love, so it all seemed appropriate. Joey knew that he and Lizzie would get some cuddle time too.
One couple that really caught his attention was Veronica and her new boyfriend, Speck. Speck was laying his head on Veronica's stomach as Veronica gently stroked his coat. She intentionally didn't eat so that Speck could listen to her hungry tummy as long as he wanted. He wagged each time it growled.
Then Joey came across Roxy. She was laying down next to the music box listening to the Christmas tunes. Right now, the iPod was playing "Last Christmas", one of her favorite holiday tunes from the 80's. Joey started to gently rub Roxy's belly.
Roxy giggled, "Stop. My stomach is a bit ticklish!" She then opened her eyes. "Oh, hi Joey. What brings you here, my good friend?"
Joey was flattered to hear Roxy call him her friend. "Nothing," he said. "I'm just walking around to see what other pups are doing."
"I'm just listening to some Christmas music," said Roxy. She then noticed Joey looked a little cold. She tried to think of something nice to do for him. She decided to get up and wrap her tail around the back of his neck. "There. Is that better?" she asked Joey.
"This actually feels really nice," said Joey.
Roxy walked in front of Joey. "I know how much you like my fuzzy coat," she said, "so I'm allowing you to pet it."
Joey smiled and started to pet Roxy's back. She murred.
Another pup that was really in a musical mood at the moment was Clayton. He and his girlfriend, Kendra, were caroling. They had been learning some classic holiday favorites over the season.
"I think this was a brilliant idea for you and me to do this Christmas, Kendra," said Clayton. "You and I really should sing together more often since we both love doing it so much."
"I agree," said Kendra. "I also really love the harmonies you and I are putting together for these songs. They really give the Christmas carols a whole new sound."
"Maybe next year, we can talk Doc and Mandy into joining us," suggested Clayton.
"Oh yeah! Four-part Harmony is like the ultimate sound!" Kendra agreed.
Clayton then looked around suspiciously.
"Something wrong, Clayton?" Kendra asked.
"It seems a little quiet around here," said Clayton.
"I think it's plenty loud," said Kendra.
"What I mean is usually when we have things like this," said Clayton, "Belchic usually ruins the whole day with his stupid quirk. I have a feeling that's bound to happen anytime now."
"Well, I wouldn't worry about that," said Kendra. "As much as I hate his quirk too, I'm sure he's finally learned to go easy on it."
"I guess you're right," said Clayton. "And besides, it's Christmas. This is a time to have fun, not to arouse drama."
Just then, a tall female pup with a peanut nose came in hauling in some logs. It was Lilly, and riding on her back was little Chive.
"It's a good thing we found some more firewood, Chive," said Lilly with a smile. "It feels like the temperatures are really dropping!"
"Lilly, you really are a sweetheart," Chive said with a smile.
Lilly blushed under her coat, but then set the logs by the fireplace putting one in to keep the fire burning.
Next to the fireplace was Shawn, Shane, Balance and Blake. The four of them were having a mini gift exchange with each other. Each one of them was very happy with the gift they got. Balance was the most happy with her gift. She got a picture of her with all her brothers.
"Oh, thank you, Shawn!" Balance said happily. "My family means more to me than anything in the world!" She gave Shawn a hug, but this caught Shawn by surprise.
"Careful when doing that, Balance!" he said. "Remember, you are stronger than me, so sometimes your hugs can hurt."
"Ooh, sorry, Shawn," Balance said blushing.
At that moment, Joey and Lizzie finally found each other. Lizzie ran up to Joey wagging happily. Joey climbed onto Lizzie and petted her head. Lizzie panted and wagged her tail.
Meanwhile, Belchic and Tippy had separated themselves from the crowd. Belchic wanted to do something super special for the other pups this Christmas. Just then, he and Tippy found what looked like a Santa Claus suit. It seemed a bit big for one puppy to wear alone. Belchic and Tippy examined the outfit, and putting their heads together, they both looked at each other with an evil grin. It was quite clear that they both had the same exact idea. Belchic climbed onto Tippy's shoulders as the two of them put together the Santa Claus outfit putting on their respective parts. In no time, the two of them looked like St. Nick.
"Okay, Tippy," said Belchic. "Let's go out there and put some smiles on those pups' faces!"
Tippy giggled and started walking back out.
All the pups in the barn were continuing on with what they were doing until Belchic and Tippy came into view. This caught some of the pups' attention, but then Belchic let out a loud laugh like Santa, and this caught everyone's attention.
Clayton looked at Belchic and Tippy. He groaned, "Seriously?!"
Joey extended his arm in front of Clayton putting his motivations to a halt. "Just play along, Clayton," he said.
Clayton and Kendra sighed.
"Merry Christmas, everyone!" Belchic cheered. Some pups laughed at Belchic and Tippy, while others were unamused. Belchic continued, "I have a gift for all you pups in this bag, so come and grab one you like best!"
The pups ran up to their bag. It was full of multi-colored chew toys. Each pup grabbed one in a color that he or she liked. Shadow got a black one for him and a blue one for Rosalina.
Clayton and Kendra approached the two pups. Belchic started to get nervous.
"Well," Clayton said. "I gotta hand it to you, Belchic. This was a very nice thing for you to do."
"You really mean it?" asked Belchic.
"Even though a lot of us have gotten tired of you and Tippy doing this," Clayton continued, "it is obvious that you guys have both showed the true meaning of Christmas. It's about giving, having fun, and being with family."
"That and you didn't force anyone to do your quirk but rather just did it on your own," added Kendra.
Tippy poked her head out from the middle of the coat. "How about that, Belchic? We actually made the others happy for once!" she said.
Belchic couldn't help but smile.
After Belchic and Tippy got out of their costume, Two-Tone approached them and asked, "Can Lucky and I wear the Santa suit next?"
Then Shadow approached and asked, "Can Rosalina and I wear it after that?"
"With me around, any pairs of pups are more than welcome to wear it!" said Belchic. "Merry Christmas everyone! And a Happy New..." Suddenly, there was a crash.
It looked like a mini tornado had crashed a hole into the barn, and it knocked over the Christmas tree. This tornado turned out to be a fat female Dalmatian pup named Spotty.
"CHRISTMAS!" she shouted. Her stomach then led her to the food table where she started devouring stuff like crazy.
"Spotty is doing something crazy," said another pup who's name was Bingo.
"You know this pup?" asked Clayton.
"Unfortunately, yes," said Bingo. "She is my sister. She's a psycho pup."
"Well, that goes without saying," said Shadow.
"Bingo, Einstein!" replied Bingo.
"We actually met these pups before," said Tippy. "Joey strangely has a fondness towards Spotty for some strange reason."
"Joey likes to hang out with any girls who are sweet enough to let him climb onto them," said Belchic.
Joey approached Spotty happy to see her. Spotty smiled and hugged Joey tightly but quickly let go when she heard him gagging.
"You are really strong!" Joey said catching his breath.
"You are all very quirky pups," said Bingo, "and somebody needs to fix that hole in the wall."
Despite all the slight mishaps, this was a very fun Christmas Eve party for the pups, but the celebration wasn't over yet. They knew that the real Santa Claus was coming later that night, and tomorrow morning is the big day when they all get to open presents.
