Well, since nobody even bothered to try out the Puppy Squares game that I came up with, I’ve decided to come up with a game that’s based on a board game, since we have so many game show-based games around here anyway. This game is based on Trivial Pursuit.
Here’s how this game is gonna go. The person in control gives a set of six categories, each one in a different color, and the colors of the categories are to be in the following order: blue, pink, red, purple, green, and orange. Then, another person will choose a category, and the person in control will ask a question in that category. Whoever answers the question correctly scores a wedge of that category’s color and makes the next choice of category.
The wedges in this game will simply be triangles, like this:
▲
You can always copy this triangle and have it in a different color. In fact, you should always do it whenever it’s necessary in this game.
Now, once a person earns a wedge in a color, they can’t try earning another wedge in that same color. Also, there are no second chances if someone answers a question incorrectly. More people can take a shot at answering a question missed, but only one shot each. If an answer is not given after the question or the last incorrect answer is given within 24 hours, the chosen category stays in play, and another question in that category is asked.
The first person to earn all six wedges, one in every color, wins the game and takes control in the next game.
Now, the categories in this game do not have to be like those in any of the editions of the board game. We can come up with our own sets of categories.
Here are the categories in the first game:
Sitcoms
Girl Groups
Card Games
US States
Animals
Marvel Superheroes
So, who would like to pick a category first?
