Hello Pups!
It has been practically Five Years, since I have actually posted a Story on here, but, before Christmas, General asked if I could write a Story about Sandy and Christmas, and with my wonderful timing, I am posting a Christmas Story closer to Valentines Day, than Christmas!
I shall also warn you, considering what this Story is about, it shall also be in Rhyme, too!
I hope you Pups like the Fic!
---------
The day was the first of November, Halloween had just been, but soon Christmas was coming, all the Puppies were keen.
If you looked at the Farm, with almost a hundred Dalmatian Pups, you can see that they were all doing their seasonal brush ups.
Inside the Barn, they prepared for Christmas Day, with most of the set up already under way!
They would leap from the Rafters, on the count of three, and then swing on some tinsel around a large tree.
Holly hung up, next to stockings with care, with Yule time jingles filling the air!
Mistletoe high up, pinned down with a brick, so any one under it would get a kiss…or a lick.
Yes, it did seem all the Pups were excited…Well…there was one who was not as delighted.
There was one Pup, called Sandy, who just watched the whole thing, and didn’ feel the joy that this time would usually bring.
She growled under her breath, enraged at the sight that she saw, and if she had to look any longer, she would begin to bite on her paw!
Sandy thought to herself; “I’ve got to do some thing about this; Need to do Some thing about all this Christmas!”
Then her ears perked, when some thing came to mind, then thought on it more, so the idea could be refined.
She considered it longer, maybe a minute or two, but then, with a toothy grin, she knew what she could do!
Soon, Sandy found a Santa Hat, with the fur trimmed in black, with the Pompom ct off with some scissors, she picked up from roun back!
Then, she found the Pup; Camera and using some bows, she tied a Red Light on the tip of his nose (doing this to Camera may seem unkind, but he likes the light, so he doesn’ mind).
The two then loaded a little red wagon and set of with a passion as hot as a dragon!
Sandy did have to wait, for the Dearly’s to go to the Mall, cause then was the perfect chance to unload her haul.
She then crept in to the Barn of the Dearly Farm, trying to keep hush, so not to cause alarm.
The Mistletoe hung was replaced by paper bats, and the set of tiny reindeer was replaced by Black Cats! Holly to cob webs and wreaths to witches, Sugar Plums to Pumpkins and Ghosts…Well…that styed as is…
She did this for hours, across the whole Farm Yard, some thing that, she kept insisting, she didn’ find hard.
Camera kept wagging, with a spirit always merry, no matter how heavy the wagon was to carry.
Then, they rode through the Forest, across dirt; roots and a fallen lop, to an ol’ camper van, where Sandy had set up shop.
They moved inside and poured their load out, on to the floor, its size being larger than both Camera & Sandy…times four!
“Did I do well!?” Camera asks, with a large grin on his face.
“Oh, You did!” Sandy nods, with a smile just as large; “This is bound to put al those early birds in their place!”
She then pet his head and sent him on his way, throwing a glowing ball, so that he would go and play!
While she stuffed her load under her mattress, Sandy could just picture what the other Dalmatians would do; they’ll see what she did and their jaws shall hang low at the signs reading; “Woooooooo” and “Boo!”.
But, that would be later, so she grabs her pink satchel, from a pile, and writes a note that reads; “Lilly; doing a stake out, be back in a while”.
Some hours later, Sandy returned, her satchel filled with what looked like a glowing crab, which she was going to take a closer look at, in her lab.
She was about to enter too, but then made a smirk; “They should be back by now! I should take a look at my handy work!”
She strode to the Dearly Farm, with an expression oh so smug, revelling at the prospect of being called an Ol’ Hum Bug!
Then, her jaw dropped, slamming hard on the ground, staring hard and long at the sight, she just found.
All around the Dearly Farm, from the ground to the roof, were the festive decorations, even some wrapped about a Cow’s Hoof!
Her left eye twitched and her lower jaw trembled, looking at all of Christmas assembled; this even caused her Tone to stutter, and she may have even made a vulgar mutter.
Then, quick as a flash (like when she faced that possessed Bear), she raced back to her lab, to check on her loot, there.
She burst through the door, only to find another Dalmatian tapping her paw.
She stared at Sandy, with a deep eye, before barking; “So, You’re the one who took all the Christmas Stuff…Why!?”
Sandy squinted, remembering that this Pup was called Mandy, before taking a defensive stance and asked back; “What makes you think it was me!?”.
“You didn’ make it easy…” Mandy says; “I can tell you. Your tracks were clean, through and through. But, Your first mistake, you messy Pup, is how you set all your…spooky stuff up! The type of knot, to start…” she held some string that looked pretty frayed; “Is the same type of knot, you learn in ‘Bark Brigade’! That narrowed it down, a but, about by a dozen, but that still makes it Ninety Suspects, then…”
Mandy then showed a card board bat, with a wing slightly bent; “Your set up also used glue, with a funny scent! While what you made does certainly look quaint, its stench is enough to make any one faint! So, that means the suspect I look for is, I suppose, in ‘Bark Brigade’ and…doesn’ have that strong a nose!”
She then picked up, in another paw, a crumpled bag from Devi’s Department Store.
“The only time, that the Halloween stuff could have been set up, at all, was when every one was at Stiffle Mall! Every Pup was there, I was there, too! The only one, I can not recall being there…was you!”
Sandy growls and snaps at Mandy; “So, What!? I am not part of your Family! I am too busy with my study! I can name many reasons why it wasn’ me, but, if I have to, I can explain those three; They could have been wearing a nose plug, to block out that smell! You admitted that there are a lot of us, in ‘Bark Brigade’ as well, and I just told you my reason as to why I stayed! For my Studies; I was out picking some Night Shade!”
Mandy nods; “That is indeed true, but I have some thing definitive, which tells me it’s you…”
Mandy pauses and gives a smirk to Sandy, before just bluntly telling her; “Camera told me!”
Sandy growled and kicked the ground; that is some thing she should have considered!
Camera would tell his life story to you, if prompted, and Sandy knows that (she’s heard)!
“So, Please tell me…” Mandy asks, as she proceeds to sit; “What made you decide to do it?”
Sandy stomps her paws, still sounding very growly, before she then blurted out; “It’s cause, every year, it’s too early! The Christmas stuff is up, even before November! Every one can not just wait for December!”
Sandy looks at what else was there, like the bat, the bag and a partly torn sign, before telling Mandy; “Halloween deserves its time to shine!”
“You do realise why Christmas is a special time, for every one, don’ you?” Mandy asks Sandy.
“Of course, I do!” Sandy glares; “I hear it al the time, from Mother and Lilly!”
Sandy sighs and turns away, wrapping the crab in a towel of some boy band.
She then head back outside with it, but not before telling Mandy; “I doubt, you even understand!”
Mandy pauses, and looks around; what Sandy was in to was not hard to be found.
She then looked down and picked up the bent wing bat, and before she thought to herself; “I’ll take you up on that!”
The very next day, Sandy was back again, from an area of the forest she thought was a Were Wuff Den!
She got glimpse of her Camper, some where off in the distance; Maybe, Lilly can offer some assistance.
But, then she noticed some thing, even from a far.
The door to her Lab was slightly a jar!
Sandy ventured inward, to see what was the cause, half expecting to be attacked by some thing with large claws.
She then charged in, as though to take it by surprise, but what she saw instead gave her wide eyes.
Her lab was decorated, from the floor to the deepest nooks, but, some how, Sandy liked how it looks…It was Christmas stuff…but…with some type of twist…mixed in to Halloween…showing they can co exist!
There were black paper snow flakes, but if you stretched them out wider, you would find that they look like webs from a Spider.
The colours too, rather than Scarlett and green, were Orange and Black, or some thing in between.
Then, at the centre of it al, right in Sandy’s face, was a needless pine tree, with a Pumpkin for a base. It was dressed with Broom Sticks, Spiders and a Bat, while also topped off with a Purple Witch Hat.
Sandy tries to resist having the ice melt in her eyes, before she got glomped and a voice howled; “SURPRISE!”.
It was Camera, who had pounced on to Sandy, but then came another Dalmatian Pup; Mandy.
Mandy watched and grinned about this, before she approached to Sandy getting Camera’s bliss.
Sandy looked up and asked; “What did you do!?”
Mandy pets Sandy and tells her; “We did this for you.”
“We?” Sandy asked, trying to straighten her fur, which is then when Mandy revealed who else was with her.
There were two other Dalmatians, standing beside Mandy. One of which being Clayton, and the other Pup; Lilly.
Mandy then advised for Camera to play with Clayton, before neatly correcting a bell, he had tied on.
Sandy glares to Mandy; “You told them, too!?”
Clayton raised a paw; “Well, it was kind of obvious, it was you…”
“The look was Lilly’s idea…” Mandy explains, nudging her forward, while Clayton & Camera shared Candy Canes.
Lilly gives a sheepish grin, she was trying to stay hid, but she was brought out, so explained what she did.
She did give credit to the others, when due, she even got suggestions from Bishop & Lupus, too!
“But why would you do it, after what I did?” Sandy asks, trying to keep her feelings at bay.
Clayton looked up and responded; “Cause, you’re our friend…Well…In a way…”
Clayton grinned to Sandy, and stuck out his tongue; while both Camera’s and his tail swung.
“Well…” Sandy looked again, now noticing Orange Tinsel on the Ant Tanks, she raised up her brow and gives a blunt; “Thanks…”
“I suspect that this calls for a group hug!” Mandy grinned, gleaming like a gem.
“I don’ think so…” Clayton barks up; “I think Sandy’s allergic to them!”
“No…” Sandy raised her paw; “I did wrong. I guess a Hug would do, as punishmnt receive from al four of you!”
Camera was the first of them to glomp Sandy, again. You would think he would remember to be more gentle, with that photographic brain.
Clayton was next, making it a dog pile of three, before Lilly joined in (her shape felt squishy).
Mandy wags her tail and joins in the group, finding it unfitting she be locked out the loop.
But, she whispers to Sandy, as the five embrace; “I admit, you were a pretty tough case.”
Sandy made a small grin, a strange warmth in her climbing, before she paused and asked; “Wait…Have we been rhyming!?”.

That's the Fic, though, I should probably try writing a lot more!
I did strt writing a drft for a Doc & Ginger Short Story, about the same time as writing this, so maybe I should continue with that one?
