Screw it, I work noon to 6 tonight and seeing Reggie upload his, ON Christmas Eve mind you, has made me tempted to upload mine.
A, cause I really want to share it
and B, my Secret Santa was Reggie.
Now, I know General's idea was to show his pups decorating a Christmasween tree, and originally I was gonna try for that, but then an idea popped into my head that added to what I would've drawn and...having the characters present would not have worked with that idea, but I digress.
Here we have a 2-frame sketch, (I don't trust my offline coloring skills), of Sandy's lab both outside, (first frame), and inside, (2nd Frame), decorated for Christmasween, and if General will notice, some of these decorations or details hint to films he and I watched in the duration of October, (and November 1st/2nd). Such as...
1st image, the outside of Sandy's lab:
-Frosty the Shadowman, (snowman dressed up like Facilier a little)
-Terminator skull hanging on the door window above the dog door
-Toshio from Ju-On the Grudge peeking out of the higher window
-Two signs saying as follows
A, Abandon all ho-ho-hope, ye who come caroling
B, And we don't got figgy pudding!
2nd image, the inside of the lab:
-A maple tree, (without the leaves, supposed to be a maple tree but I'm an amateur), instead of a pine/spurce tree for the christmasween Tree upon which hang
A, Jason's mask on the top left
B, The book from Hocus Pocus beneath it
C, The duck toy, (with teeth), from Nightmare Before Christmas beneath that
D, a noose to the right of that
E, the Blair Witch symbol above that
And topped off with a Pentagram at the top
-A TV stand with the TV bearing static a la Poltergeist
-a coat-rack of sorts from which hang a stocking for Lupus, (left), Sandy, (middle), and even Frank, (far right), cause Krampus has to deliver gifts to SOMEBODY
And Sandy has cameras, (with a webcam design), sitting atop the rack and the tv stand.
BUT...what was it I chose to add, you may ask that would cause me to change the original idea to NOT showing the pups.
Well...hehe, let me recite it. Behold, a poem I made in the manner of "Twas the Night" by Clement Clark Moore, but more befitting of Sandy's Christmasween, enjoy.
"'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Lab,
Not a Dalmatian was stirring, not even Bab.
The cameras were placed near the maple with care,
To catch and record Santa Paws, Who MAY appear there.
The stockings they hung, above the TV screen,
Which crackled with static, but for Sandy was routine.
Off in the bed, slept Miss Wilco and Lupus right next,
Tired yet content, from another night of sex.
Outside in the snow, stood Frosty the Shadowman,
And in the door a Terminator, who will bite you if he can.
The signs warned upon those who would come to revel,
As one of the stockings was for a demon but not the Devil.
Yes, to Sandy, there was nothing like Christmasween,
But to many of faith or yule, this was quite obscene.
A Pentagram star and uncouth ornaments too...
BUT if you have issues with that, then go Scrooge you."
