Chapter 12
It was a sunny day outside as Shawn got up, seeing people walking on the sidewalk, as he stretched out his body, wondering what he could get himself into as he walked out of the alleyway, he noticed words on the walls themselves like they were written on the Dumpster, one of them actually read. "HOUSE OF DE VIL SUCKS, GO TO MA AND PA'S GROCERY STORE!"
Shawn's ear perked up, when he heard talking in the distance, he noticed a young girl with her two sisters walking passed him, he wasn't sure on what was going on, but then heard the music that he heard before, he kept his ears open when he followed the sound of the music.
He followed the music to the outside of the stadium, he saw a group of Anthropomorphic Animals standing next to a Canine Anthro that looked like he had a white neck with spots as he had a black upper body, and a white underbelly, two black ears and a black face, He wore a Cowboy Hat, a light blue shirt with light blue pants. As the dog started to sing.
Shawn tried to get through the crowd. "Excuse me, pardon me." He spoke to the crowd, till he was in front of the crowd, as the dog was singing to a tune as he smiled, looking at Shawn, he recognized something about Shawn that seemed to be familiar, as he Strummed his guitar, it went like this.
Well my throat was dry and it was getting late
I was at this bar on the interstate
When this guy with this bird on his shoulder walked through the door
He proceeded to tell me the wildest thing
Sir this bird of mine can sing
Like no other bird you ever heard before
Well I kinda looked at the guy and said oh really
He turned to the bird and said do ole Willie
When the bird started singing I almost fell in the floor
Whisky River take my mind
Don't let her memory torture to me
Whisky River don't run dry
You're all I've got take care of me
Well if that ain't the durndest thing
I thought son what a heck of a thing
An Anthro could get rich making that bird sing
And I could feel this wild idea coming on strong
And besides I'm sitting here with two weeks pay
And I'd probably blow it on beer anyway
Hey wait 'til you hear him sing like George Jones
He stopped loving her today
They placed a wreath upon his door
Soon they'll carry him away
He stopped loving her today
I said well that does it sir
Yep I'd like to buy that bird
Five hundred dollars to take him off your hands
Well he thought for a while and he said alright
And he handed me the bird and he said good night
He counted my money and out the door he ran
Well I was thinking I'd found the rainbow's end
That the money would soon be pouring in
When suddenly the bird flew out the door and was gone
Well then it hit me and I got boiling mad
'Cause I knew right then I'd been had
And as he flew off into the night he was singing this song
On the road again
I just can't wait to get on the road again
Somebody stop that bird
Well love is making money with my friends
I can't wait to get on the road again
On the road again
My bird
I Just can't wait to get on the road again
My $500
I find love is making money with my friends
Huh?
I can't wait to get on the road again
Somebody give me a B B gun
On the road again
I want that bird
Just can't wait to get on the road again
This is for the birds
Love is making money with my friends
I can’t wait to get on the road again
Find me a branch somebody
On the Road again
Hey come back here, bird.
The dog was hilarious as he finished singing a tune that Shawn knew all too well.
The Crowd howled and clapped showing that they enjoyed the song, then they dispersed, except for Shawn, who stayed behind, the grown Anthro got off his stage and looked at Shawn. "What are you doing out here?" He asked. "Don't you know it's dangerous?"
Shawn didn't seem to pay it no mind. "Yeah." He replied, but the only thing that he wasn't afraid of was the face of danger. "But I'm not afraid."
"Not afraid, huh?" The Anthro asked.
"Nope." Shawn replied.
The Anthro sat down as he got close to Shawn. "May I ask, why is an Anthro like you, out here by himself?" He asked.
"No reason, just... Looking for someone." Shawn replied.
"Are you lost?" The Anthro asked, tilting his head at Shawn looking confused. "Do your parents know where you are?"
"No, they don't know where I am." Shawn replied. "I left for a special reason." He looked down with a sad look, remembering what he saw back in the woods with his sister and Zess.
"Do you have a name?" The Anthro asked.
Shawn looked at the Anthro. "Shawn." He replied. "What's yours?"
"Jerry." Jerry replied.
"Interesting name." Shawn spoke.
"Yeah, well, come with me." Jerry spoke and started walking away, Shawn began following him. "Where are we going?" He asked Jerry.
Jerry looked at Shawn. "Well, first things first, we've got to find your parents." He spoke.
"Why?" Shawn asked.
"Because that would be the first thing we need to do." Jerry replied.
"Can't I just stay here in the city?" Shawn asked.
"Wish I could say yes, but it's too dangerous." Jerry replied as they headed toward an alley where they saw a Labrador and a Siberian Husky, both of them were males.
"Bo, Leo, we've got company." Jerry spoke as he walked up to the pups, he looked at Shawn who looked at the two Anthro’s The Siberian Husky had on a pair of gloves, a green tank top and brown pants his upper fur was gray with a mix of brown and his bottom fur was white he was named Bo.
The other male Anthro was a Labrador Retriever, he had yellow fur, a blue shirt with brown shorts, both of them had bandanas around their necks except the way they were wearing theirs it was reversed.
"H.. Hi." Shawn spoke shyly, both the male pups looked at Shawn and started to walk up to him. "Hey there, new face." Leo spoke.
"Do you know where you live?" Jerry asked Shawn,
The dalmatian looked at Jerry. "The Dearly Farm."
"Ah, the home of the famous 101 Dalmatians." Bo spoke.
Leo looked at Bo. "You've heard of them?" He asked.
"Of course, I've heard of them, I mean, who hasn't?" Bo replied.
Jerry then started to walk out of the alleyway. "I'll be back, just need to do some errands." He spoke, he didn't tell them what it was, but knew now where Shawn came from, so he could go and tell the habitants at the farm that Shawn's safe and sound.
"So, what do you do around here?" Bo asked.
"Nothing much, just explore." Shawn replied.
"Like my girlfriend." Leo spoke.
"You mean that Vixen named May." Bo spoke.
"Yep, I do love her." Leo spoke.
"If you love her so much, then why don't you marry her." Bo replied, teasing Leo, as he stuck out his tongue, Shawn had a feeling that Bo was teasing Leo as he chuckled.
On the outskirts of the town, a shadowed figure was gazing at the house, where a man was coming out of the house, going to the mailbox and checking the mail. Rhonda walked over to the figure. "Sir, we have the prisoner." She spoke.
"Good.. Maybe, the Dingo will be of use to us." The figure spoke as he revealed himself to the Coyote showing a Grown up Dalmatian Anthro, he had a right white ear, a left black ear, a spot over his left eye, similar to Patch's, has a white right fore and hind leg and a left black fore and hind leg. He wore a black shirt and pants and digboots. His name was Damon.
"Yes sir, hopefully." Rhonda spoke as they entered the woods.
The Dingo was laying down, examining the area, from the looks on his body, his fur was all ruffled, his clothes were torn in different places and some bruises were shown on his body, indicating that he was in a fight with something. The Red dog looked and saw that two figures were walking up to him.
"Mr. Moto, it's so good of you to see us." Damon said to the Red Dog.
"Did I have a choice?" Moto asked Damon.
"Please Mr. Moto, you're our guest." Damon replied calmly.
Damon walked closer to Moto. "The reason you're here is I'm hoping that you will hunt down a certain pup." He spoke.
"A pup?" Moto asked. "What Gender?"
"Doesn't really matter." Damon replied. "Just get your gang to find one of the pups that waltz into town."
Moto got up and walked out of the woods. "You sure, we can trust him?" Rhonda asked as she walked up to Damon,
The Male Dalmatian looked at the Coyote Teen. "I don't have any doubts at all." He spoke as he started to walk away.
Well, I don't trust him. Rhonda thought as she followed Damon.

Back at the barn, Balance was outside contemplating on the events that brought her and her siblings to Roger and Anita including their adoptive parents Pongo and Perdita, as she was seen sitting down next to a small pond that Pongo splashed in her face.
Blake was up in the attic trying out a new game that Roger had created that Lucky was telling him about, it was called. "Super Barkio RPG: Legend of the Seven Bones." Blake seemed to have enjoyed the game as he made it to Cruella's Castle to save Barkio's Love Interest.
Shane was exploring the farm searching for Shawn, as he started humming a familiar kids tune, he saw his sister near the pond. Balance opened her eyes when she heard someone walking on the grass. "Have you found him?" She asked.
Shane sat down next to his sister and shook his head. "No, I can't say that I have." He replied, he then scratched his ear with his hand.
"He couldn't have gone too far." Balance spoke as she looked at her reflection in the pond.
"I sure hope you're right." Shane spoke, He decided to head back to the barn, he then heard voices from the inside as he walked toward the entrance of the barn.
"He's where?'' A voice came from inside the barn, it sounded Female,
Jerry looked at Pongo and Perdy. "Now, don't worry, Mrs. Dearly, I can assure you that he's safe, he's under my care, and I'll see about bringing him back here first thing in the morning." Jerry replied.
"Well, at least he's safe." Perdita spoke as she sighed in relief,
Shane approached Jerry, Pongo and Perdita. "What's going on?" He asked.
"Shawn's in the city, with two Teen’s that Jerry is taking care of." Pongo replied.
Shane looked at Jerry and also sighed in relief. "It's a good thing, he's alright." He said to Pongo, Perdita and Jerry. He then looked at Pongo and Perdita. "Mind if we go get him?"
Pongo and Perdita both looked at each other then back at Shane. "I don't know, you four are new here at this farm." Perdita replied.
"I can see where you're concerned about us." Shane spoke. "But we've been trained by TJ, way before we were captured by Horace and Jasper."
"We still don't know." Pongo spoke.
"Please, this is our brother we're talking about." Shane pleaded. "Chances are, he'll listen to us if we go by ourselves."
Perdita and Pongo knew that they wouldn't be able to talk him out of it, but they also knew that Shawn knew his siblings longer than he knew them. "Alright, but tomorrow, please be careful." Perdita spoke.
"We will." Shane spoke as he wagged his tail.
Jerry smiled. "So, it's settled, you will come get your brother." He spoke,
Shane nodded his head. "Yes, but Balance and Blake will come along as well." He spoke.
Jerry sighed in great relief upon hearing that. "That's good, news have been floating around that three Anthros are in Gruteley and will stop at nothing to cause Chaos in the city."
"That appeared on the news last night." Shane spoke. "That's why Balance, Blake and I are worried about our brother right now."
Jerry looked at Shane. "Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on your brother till you three arrive, but in the meantime, I'll have either Bo or Leo come to the farm so they can lead you three to him."
"I appreciate that." Shane spoke as he watched Jerry leave the barn. Shane then looked at Pongo and Perdita. "Don't worry about us, we'll be fine." He assured them as he walked out of the barn.
Shane saw Blake talking to Balance as he walked over to them.
"I've got some great news, guys." He said to them. "Shaw..."
"Not now." Balance spoke, she turned her attention toward Blake. "You were saying?"
"TJ wanted to see us." Blake said to Balance.
"Did he say why?" Shane asked.
Blake shook his head. "No, he said he wanted to see all four of us at once, before he could tell us what's going on." He replied to Shane. Balance placed her right hand over her chin in order to figure things out.
She then looked at Shane out of the corner of her eye as she tried to piece together on why TJ wanted to see them. "What was it that you were going to say, Shane?" She asked.
"I've just found out Shawn's location." Shane replied. "He's in the alleyway with Jerry along with the Teens that he's taking care of now."
"I wonder why he's over there instead of being here where it's safer." Balance spoke, but Blake popped up before Shane could say anything. "Safe? This farm isn't the safest since Cruella comes to visit, not to mention her family members."
Balance just facepalmed herself, because she knew that she was forgetting them. When something happens, Cruella, Horace and Jasper would be at the farm to find what they need or cause trouble.

Jerry walked over to the Hot dog stand, the owner saw Jerry
“Hey Jerry.” The Hot Dog Owner spoke as he was putting some hot dogs out for Jerry. “How was the gig?”
Jerry smiled as he wagged his tail. “It went pretty well, the record company will be contacting me soon.” He replied.
“Ah, I hope it pulls through, you do have a good singing voice.” The Hot Vendor said to Jerry.
“I hope it pulls through as well.” Jerry said as he took out his wallet. “How much for four hot dogs?”
“Don’t worry about it, it’s on the house.” The Hot Dog Vendor replied as he gave Jerry the four hot dogs. “You’ve been bringing me in customers, so it’s the least I can do.”
“That’s very generous of you, Vin.” Jerry said as he put his wallet back in his pocket and took the four hot dogs.
“Indeed, say how are Bo and Leo doing? I haven’t seen them walk around here lately.” Vin asked.
“They're still alive and kicking, just staying in the alley that we’re staying at for now.” Jerry replied. “I gotta go feed the two along with another Anthro Teen.”
“Alright, take care, old friend.” Vin said to Jerry.
Jerry wagged his tail and carried the four hot dogs off into the alley where he found Shawn, Leo and Bo chuckling at a joke.
Jerry handed the hot dogs to Bo, Shawn and Leo as he looked at Shawn, as he sat down.
Bo and Leo took their Hotdogs and began to eat.
"Shawn, I decided to go to the farm, Pongo and Perdita agreed that your siblings would come and take you back." Jerry said to the Dalmatian.
Shawn's ears perked up. "What?" He asked.
"They're coming to take you back to the farm tomorrow." Jerry said to Shawn.
Shawn shook his head. "No, I don't want to go back." He said to Jerry as he backed away from Bo, Leo and Jerry. "You don't have a choice, this place is really dangerous out here alone."
"You can't make me!" Shawn shouted.
"You're a kid, Shawn, you can't survive out here on your own!" Jerry raised his voice a little.
"You're not my father." Shawn shouted back as he ran away from Jerry, Leo and Bo.
"Shawn, get back over here, now!" Jerry called out, but it was too late, Shawn already left.
