well tonight is the big night for the Secret Santas. And I'll go first with my Secret Santa for Trey_Vore ^^ Hope you enjoy it, had to do some brainstorming to get the idea to work but here it goes ^^ It was Christmas eve as three dalmatian puppies and a chicken with spots on her feathers were headed towards the busy mall in Stiffle, they were on a mission to find a Christmas present for their vixen friend Roxy. “okay, we need to find something Roxy would like, any ideas?” Lucky asked the group. “Maybe something that plays into her interests?” Cadpig suggested. “I dunno about you guys, but I can smell the food from the food court. Let;s look over there.” Rolly suggested. “Somehow Rolly, I don't think Roxy would want food for Christmas.” Spot spoke up. “Yeah, Spot's right Rolly. Let's search for a good Christmas present for Roxy.” Lucky told his siblings and Spot. They soon began to search the mall, peeking into various stores to see what they had. They first started looking around a few clothing stores but only to realize this stuff was way to big for Roxy. “I highly doubt we'll find anything here for Roxy.” Cadpig said. “Yeah, these clothes are way to big for her.” Lucky agreed, the group next found a music store and began to look around. “Maybe she'd like 80s music?” Lucky suggested. “Well she likes anything 80s.” Spot spoke up. “True.” Lucky said as he and the other dalmatians and Spot began to look for any music Roxy would like, but as they did, they noticed mall security in the area, the pups and Spot realized there was a no dogs allowed rule in the mall. “Uh oh, we got company guys!” Lucky told Cadpig, Rolly, and Spot. “I wonder what they are looking for?” Cadpig asked. “Oh man, I forgot the mall has a strict no dogs allowed policy!” Lucky said. “Then we gotta get out of here!” Rolly barked. “I wonder if I'm an exception to the rule?” Spot wondered, would she be able to bypass that rule since she was a chicken after all. The group quickly ran out of the store and into the large crowd of last minute gift buyers. They also realized they needed to find a good gift for Roxy too. The pups and Spot soon ducked into a toy store and looked around to see if anything would be good for Roxy. The pups and Spot searched the isles, seeing lots of toys, action figures, dolls, even plushes. Lucky stopped and noticed a plush of Thunderbolt on a shelf. “Whoa, neat!” he barked as his tail wagged. “Um Lucky, weren't we supposed to get something for Roxy? And don't you have a plush Thunderbolt?” Cadpig asked. “Yeah, but this one is bigger!” Lucky responded. “Lucky.” Cadpig gave her brother a stern look. “Oh, right. Yeah let's find a gift for Roxy.” Lucky said, he and Cadpig went to locate Rolly and Spot. They eventually met up at the entrance to the toy store. “Did you guys find anything?” Spot asked “Not yet I'm afraid.” Cadpig replied. “Well Lucky did find something, well for himself at least.” she told Rolly and Spot. “Yeah but we gotta find something for Roxy. Besides I could get that plush later.” Lucky told his siblings and Spot, they realized their options were getting limited. “I know!” Lucky came up with an idea. “Let's check the video game store and see what they have.” he said as he, Rolly, Cadpig, and Spot headed toward the video game store. Once at the video game store, they searched the isles, seeing various games on various consoles and PCs. “Heh, didn't think Roger would make a sequel to the Cruellanator.” Lucky showed Cadpig, Rolly, and Spot a video game cover that read “Cruellanator 2: The refashioning”. “Man, Roger is good at these sorts of things.” Rolly spoke up. “You don't think Cruella knows about that game?” Cadpig asked. “If she did, she'd be screaming her head off at Roger, luckily she hasn't seen it yet.” Lucky answered as they continued to search for a good gift to Roxy, that was till they saw mall security looking for them. “Run!” Lucky barked as he and his siblings and Spot ran out of the video game store, the mall security sees them and gives chase, the pups and Spot looked for a place to duck into, they eventually ducked into an Arcade, inside the pups could hear the loud noises of the arcade games being played as well as the sounds of the pinball machines, skeeball tables, coin pushing machines, and small rides for smaller kids. “Whoa, neat!” Lucky's tail wagged. “I don't think we'll find a present for Roxy in here Lucky.” Cadpig told Lucky. “True, say while we are here we can see if they have that new Thunderbolt arcade game.” Lucky said before he went ahead into the arcade, Cadpig, Rolly, and Spot all followed him. Up ahead, Lucky noticed a few arcade game cabinets with lots of teenagers and older kids gathered around them. “Whoa, must be one of those hot fighting games I've heard of.” Lucky said as he watched the crowd. He turned in time to see Cadpig, Rolly, and Spot arrive. “Lucky, we gotta get out of here. Those mall guys might be looking for us!” Spot told Lucky. “This would be the last place they'd look to find us. So don't worry about it Spot.” Lucky told Spot. “Yeah? Well what do you call them?” Spot pointed behind the pups. The three dalmatians turned around to see the mall security guards coming after them. “I stand corrected. Run!” Lucky yelped as he, Rolly, Cadpig, and Spot ran out of the arcade with the mall security chasing after them. “ We gotta lose them somehow!” Rolly told Lucky. “But where could we lose them at?” Lucky asked as he looked around, the pups and Spot noticed a pet store and ducked inside, the pups looked around as did Spot as they went through the pet store. They passed by a pen full of puppies that were up for adoption, one puppy a blue heeler barked at the pups as they ran on by. The pups heard the bark and saw the pen full of puppies. “Hey, did you escape the pen?” the heeler pup asked. “Nope, we came from a farm in the country side, we just came in here to find our friend a Christmas present.” Lucky explained to the heeler pup. “Oh. Well don't get caught by mall security then.” the heeler responded. The pups and Spot nodded and headed off. “So what do we do now Lucky?” Cadpig asked. “Yeah, I don't think I could run anymore, especially on an empty stomach.” Rolly added in. “There has to be a back exit we can get to.” Lucky looked around before spotting one “That way!” he pointed, the pups and Spot ran toward the back, passing through the dog toys and other stuff. “Darn, love to have a look but we haven't got the time.” Lucky rushed past the dog toys and other stuff, the pups and Spot soon ran out the back entrance to the pet shop and the mall, the puppies and Spot kept going till they were far out of sight from the mall and even Stiffle as they headed back up the road towards the farm. “Well guys, we blew it.” Lucky said, sounding defeated. “Well, as a consolation we did have a good time at the mall. Even if those jerks were chasing us and trying to discriminate against us dogs.” Cadpig said with a growl. “All I know is I wanna settle down with some kibble. You don't know how hungry I am right now guys.” Rolly said as he looked exhausted. “Well, we better get home and give Roxy the bad news.” Spot said. “Yeah.” Lucky said in a glum sounding voice as he, Cadpig, Rolly, and Spot headed back toward the farm. Soon the pups and Spot arrived on the farm as they headed toward the barn. As they got there they saw Roxy headed toward the farmhouse along with Two-Tone. The two were having a discussion when they saw Lucky, Rolly, Cadpig, and Spot all looking exhausted. “Hey, where did you guys go?” Two-Tone asked. “Hey Two-Tone, well we went to the mall in Stiffle to find a present for Roxy for Christmas, but we blew it.” Lucky told Two-Tone. “Wait, you guys went there to find a present for me?” Roxy asked in surprise. “Yeah but we found nothing, that and mall security kept trying to catch us to kick us out too.” Cadpig added in. “Wait, for what?” Two-Tone asked her siblings. “We didn't know they had a no dogs allowed rule at the mall.” Rolly replied. “I still wonder if I could be in there, after all there is no sign there that reads no chickens allowed.” Spot added in. “Guys.” Roxy looks at Lucky, Rolly, Cadpig, and Spot.”You didn't have to go through all that for me.” she told the four of them. “Huh? But why?” Lucky asked. “Well, I value my friendships with all of you guys.” Roxy responded. “And that is something that's worth more than any present for Christmas.” Roxy told her friends. “Speaking of that, let's get our butts inside the farmhouse before we get cold from the snow outside.” Two-Tone said as she went inside the farmhouse. “Wow Roxy, that meant a lot.” Lucky said to Roxy, as he, Rolly, Cadpig, and Spot headed into the farmhouse, Roxy following behind them. That night as the snow fell on and around the farm, the dalmatians celebrated Christmas with their friend Roxy. A great time for all of them as they enjoyed the Christmas holiday.

Well, Happy Holidays, everyone. I didn’t think I would get my entry done in time, but I did! Anyway, I was assigned Stirfry for this year’s Secret Santa. Despite the fact that he said something that offended me the day before I got assigned to him, I still went ahead and did the fanfic he requested.:
-
It was Christmas time in Grutely. Pongo and Perdita’s puppies were getting ready for the big holiday. Many pups were buying and wrapping presents for each other at this glorious time of the year. Every pup was ready to have fun with each other and have another exciting Christmas together.
However, unbeknownst to the pups, something very unusual was going on. The presents they had for each other were mysteriously disappearing.
Two-Tone had a present wrapped for Lucky. She knew where she left it, but when she went to put it under the tree, it was gone.
Clayton had a present for Bishop. It too vanished before his eyes.
Nemo had a present for Shadow. She was shocked when she discovered it went missing.
Belchic had a present for Tippy. He set his in a safe place, but after he turned his head away from it for just a couple seconds…poof! It was gone!
Many pups had no idea what was happening to all their presents. Even the ones who tried to be extra careful with their presents were still losing them by the numbers. Nobody knew what was going on.
One pup in particular who took notice of this was a fairly tall, liver-spotted, female Dalmatian pup named Sandy. “This is quite a mystery,” she wondered. “How can all these presents just vanish out of thin air? Well, somebody has to solve this mystery, and what better pup to do it than me?”
Sandy went around and interrogated the pups. She took notes from all the pups who were victims of losing their presents. Once she got enough notes, she did some investigating around the areas outside of the farm.
Sandy’s first suspect was at Villa De Vil. She had a hunch Cruella would be the most likely culprit. She investigated the whole house and found no trace of presents or any clues that Cruella might have taken them. She even interrogated Scorch and Vandella. They too were victims of this robbery, which surprised Sandy even more.
Her next stop was El Perdido. Swamp Rat was infamous for stealing stuff from the farm and selling it to his fellow swamp neighbors. Once again, she found no evidence in the swamp. She interrogated Swamp Rat, and he was 100% clean.
Sandy felt like she was getting nowhere. Though she figured now, she’d have to settle for her last resort and investigate the Heartbreakers. Of course, she knew the Heartbreakers would tell them nothing, and even if she tried, Stealth would likely beat her up. Instead, she just peeked into their hideout to see what was going on. It turned out some pups were also having the same issue with their gifts disappearing. Malinda made her lament to Diana, and even she was shocked. “Well, I think I have all I need here,” said Sandy as she returned to the farm.
Back at the farm, Sandy looked over her notes and tried to see if she could figure out this mystery. “This just doesn’t add up,” she said. “Presents don’t just disappear out of thin air for no reason. Someone must be stealing them. But I’ve interrogated all the likely suspects. Maybe it’s someone unlikely. I think the only thing to know for sure is to set up some bait for the thief and find out who the culprit really is.”
Later that day, Sandy wrapped up a present she was going to give to Camera. She laid it out in the wide open and hid in a bush. She recorded it with her phone and did not keep her eyes off of it. A few moments later, the present vanished. She looked back at the video she recorded, and was shocked to see the present floating in mid air and drifting away.
“Unbelievable!” she said in shock. “I don’t see how this can possibly be happening, but I gotta find out how!”
Sandy went to an undisclosed area and set up a computer and lots of other high tech equipment. She plugged her phone into a jack. “There’s no way those presents can just float away all by themselves,” she said. “It has to be some kind of paranormal activity.”
She watched the video again on her computer. This time in an infrared mode. The screen was all blurry showing blue and green colors. The present was indicated by a purple color. Suddenly, something red came into the picture floating towards the present. Sandy could see it form hands, which picked up the present and took it away. She couldn’t believe her eyes.
“Well, there is no doubt about it,” she said. “There is definitely some kind of paranormal activity going around stealing all the gifts. But I’m not going to take the amateur route and start telling all the pups. They’ll just think I’m crazy. No, I’m much more professional than that. I’m going to solve this mystery myself and give the others real proof!”
The next day, Sandy set out another present as bait. This time she watched while wearing infrared goggles. A few minutes later, a figure approached the present. It was a full-bodied ghostly dog figure.
“So this is who has been stealing all the presents,” she thought. “I gotta find out why it’s been doing this.”
As soon as the ghost picked up the present, Sandy jumped out and shouted, “Hey, you!”
This caught the ghost’s attention. It quickly flew away. “Wait!” said Sandy chasing after the ghost. “I just wanted to ask you something!” But try as she might, the ghost just kept flying away from her, so much that it wore her out, and she lost it.
“Dang it!” Sandy groaned. “Guess I have another mystery to solve: why that ghost won’t let me talk to it.”
Sandy thought carefully of a way she can talk to the ghost. Maybe it was scared of her. Maybe if she knew how to approach the ghost without it recognizing her in some way, and she thought maybe there was a pup who could help her with that. Then, it dawned on her the one pup on the farm who was a master of undercover work: Belchic. Although, she couldn’t ask Belchic directly since she knew he would want to perform such a task a certain way, and since he was larger than her, it was out of the question. Instead, she decided to ask one of Belchic’s closest friends, Joey. He’d be the perfect pup to help her with this job. So Sandy went around the farm looking for Joey.
Joey was sitting by the side of the barn working on a Christmas poem. Sandy found him and approached him.
“Hi, Joey,” said Sandy.
“Oh, hi, Sandy,” said Joey. “I’m in the middle of a poem I’m writing for my friends.”
“Well, that’s sweet of you,” said Sandy. “Hey, I was wondering if you could help me out with something. Are you available?”
“I guess I can set this project aside for now,” said Joey. “So what’s going on?”
Sandy explained, “I’m sure you are aware of all the disappearing presents?”
“Of course I am,” said Joey. “All my presents have disappeared, and it has me pretty sad.”
“Not to worry, Joey,” said Sandy. “I found out what’s happening. The presents have been taken away by a ghost.”
Joey blinked. “Are you being serious,” Joey asked, “or are you just trying to scare me? You know I don’t like being bullied.”
“No, I’m being quite serious,” said Sandy. “I even have proof.” Sandy showed Joey the video she took. Joey was shocked at what he saw.
“That certainly does not look like Photoshop,” said Joey. “I believe you.”
“I figured you would,” said Sandy. “I know you’re autistic, so you see things differently than other pups.”
“Is that why you’re asking me for help?” asked Joey.
“Actually, there’s another reason,” explained Sandy. “The ghost won’t let me talk to it. It keeps flying away from me whenever I try to come near it, but with your help, I think we should be able to track it down.”
“Where is this ghost?” asked Joey.
“Stick with me,” said Sandy. “We’ll find out where he or she is going.”
Later that day, Sandy set out another present in the open. She and Joey hid behind a bush and watched carefully. A moment later, a ghostly figure came towards the present and picked it up.
“Well, I’ll be,” said Joey. “I guess there are such things as ghosts after all.”
The ghost flew away with the present. “It’s getting away,” said Sandy. “Let’s follow it, but quietly.”
Sandy took out a tracking device as she and Joey slowly and quietly followed the ghost. They were lead to an undisclosed area where they saw the ghost adding the present to a mountain of other presents. It was all the presents that have gone missing.
“So this is where all the presents have gone,” said Sandy.
“Indeed,” said Joey. “I even see mine within that stack.”
“We need to find out what this ghost wants with all these presents,” said Sandy.
“Yes, but I’m still puzzled why you asked me of all pups to help you,” said Joey.
“I have a pretty good reason that I think you’ll love,” said Sandy as she pulled out a trench coat and fedora. “Climb on my shoulders.”
Joey was a little surprised that Sandy came up with this idea, but he would never turn down an opportunity to be carried by a girl dog, so he climbed onto Sandy’s shoulders. “I didn’t think you were into this kind of stuff, Sandy,” said Joey as he put on the coat and hat.
“Not normally,” said Sandy, “but I figured it was the best way to get some answers from the ghost without being recognized.”
“Usually when Belchic comes up with this idea, the other pups always turn it down,” said Joey. “Especially Clayton. He’s probably the most infamous for telling Belchic that it won’t work.”
“Well, then I guess this is our chance to prove him wrong,” said Sandy with a grin. “You ready, Joey?”
“Yeah,” said Joey, then he added, “but no funny business, Sandy.”
Joey knew that Sandy could get a little perverted at times, but in this case, she knew she had to take this seriously. With their disguise all buttoned up, Sandy started walking carrying Joey over to the pile of toys. She stopped to allow Joey to look at them. A few seconds later, the ghost emerged. It floated up to Joey. Turns out this ghost was a female.
“Oh, hello,” said the ghost.
Joey blinked. “Amazing,” he said. “An actual real ghost.”
The ghost was a little confused now. She asked Joey, “You’re not scared of me? Usually, whenever I first greet people, they always immediately scream in terror.”
“Well, I am not like those people,” said Joey. “I am actually very fascinated seeing a ghost with my own eyes. I didn’t know ghosts were real. Even if they were, I’m sure they can’t do anything to hurt me.”
“Well, your assumption is right,” said the ghost. “My name is Cascara. Pleasure to meet you.”
“I’m…uh, Joey,” Joey responded. “I am hear to ask you about all these presents you found here.”
“Oh, these?” replied Cascara. “I’m actually a giving ghost. I come around at Christmas time to collect presents I find lying around so that I can give them to living souls who are less fortunate.”
“Is that so?” Joey responded. “Well, that’s is a very wonderful and thoughtful thing for you to do, give toys to charity. However, those presents are not yours. Stealing things without asking is not a good thing to do.”
“Oh, it isn’t?” asked Cascara.
“Not at all,” said Joey. “You should always ask before you take things from others. These presents were for all my brothers and sisters from each other. They worked really hard to get these for them for Christmas.”
“Hurry up, Joey,” Sandy whispered.
“I’m so sorry,” said Cascara. “I guess I should give them back, but what about the charities I’m trying to help?”
Joey thought for a bit, and then came up with a solution. “Say, I know,” he said. “My brothers and sisters may have a lot of old toys that they don’t want anymore. Those can definitely go to good cause. Maybe you can donate those instead.”
Cascara responded, “I think that’s might be a good idea. They may not be the highest quality condition, but they’re better than nothing.”
“If you promise to return all the presents on Christmas, I will go around and ask all the pups if they have any toys they’d be willing to let go of,” said Joey. “There’s 101 of us total, plus some outsiders, so you’re sure to get a lot!”
“Great!” said Cascara. “I look forward to seeing what you bring me! Thank you very much!”
With all that taken care of, Sandy walked away from Cascara. Once they were far enough away, she and Joey took their disguise off.
“That was a great compromise you came up with, Joey,” said Sandy.
“I’m glad I convinced her,” said Joey. “You’re not such a bad pup to work with after all.”
“We do make a pretty good team,” said Sandy. “Now, let’s go talk to all the pups and see if they have any old toys to donate!” Then off they went.
Joey and Sandy split off around the farm to see if any pups had old toys they didn’t need anymore. With so many pups living on that farm, there were a lot of opportunities to find some. Joey and Sandy managed to collect a plethora of toys for donation, and they brought them to Cascara.
“This is wonderful,” said Cascara in surprise. “How did you two find so many in such a small amount of time?”
“Well, it helps when you live on a farm with lots and lots of dogs,” said Sandy.
“That’s right,” said Joey.
“Thank you so much,” said Cascara. “This will make the children so happy. How can I ever repay you?”
“Well, for one thing, you can give back all the presents you stole,” said Sandy.
“I promise I will,” said Cascara. “On Christmas morning, you should expect to see all your presents under your Christmas tree. As for these old toys, I’m going to give them all away to needy families, and I will collect old toys from other places as well.”
“But make sure you ask first,” said Joey.
“I will, just so long as they don’t scream in terror and run away from me,” said Cascara.
“I’m sure you’ll find a way around that,” said Sandy with a wink.
“Thank you again,” said Cascara, “and Merry Christmas.”
Feeling accomplished, Sandy and Joey went back to their normal lives with their friends and siblings.
On Christmas morning, the pups woke up in surprise to see all their presents back and under the tree. Cascara kept her promise. It was a true Christmas miracle on Dearly Farm that year.
“Well, it looks like our mission is accomplished,” Sandy said to Joey.
“Yeah, and I got lots of compliments on my poems too,” said Joey. “How can this day get any better?”
Suddenly, Sandy’s stomach growled. Sandy laughed nervously and said, “I guess my stomach is wanting some gingerbread cookies.”
Joey looked at Sandy’s stomach as it growled again. He smiled and wagged his tail.
Sandy blinked, “Oh? You like hearing my stomach growling, don’t you?”
Joey blushed a little, “Uhh, well…sorry if I’m making you feel uncomfortable or anything.”
“Aww, come here, little buddy!” Sandy said as she wrapped her paw around Joey. Joey laid his head up against Sandy’s stomach as Sandy gently stroked his back. Joey was very happy to have gained a new close friend this Christmas.
“Merry Christmas, Sandy,” said Joey with a smile.
Sandy responded, “Right back at ya, Joey!”
The End

I hope I followed the formula you wanted correctly, Stirfry, and I hope you like how it turned out. I did my best.

Took a while, but for my secret Santa, it was Babclayman. ^^ I have to admit that I didn't know what to write at first, but looking at his OC's bio held a clue, I started thinking about the RP's we have done in the past and thought about a clip of his work that he showed me, so I made this for him. ^^ I hope he likes it. ^^
Clayton looked at the city that he had set up in the backyard, he was ready to start filming his masterpiece. The boxes and the cars were set up just right as well as the plastic toys that the Dalmatian found in the Attic. He had a feeling that he wanted this film to be good. Scratching his ear with hind paw, he started to visualize what his movie would be like.
Picturing a Giant Dog roaming the streets of Camden was what he wanted to make, however he wanted to avoid many casualties as possible with this short film in the works, whenever got stuck on a situation, he would go to the SuperSize comic books for some inspiration similar to how he would get inspirations from The Doctor Zone Files or Air Dal’s.
He would look and see that Dylan was playing Poodlewolf with his friends, a version of Creatures and Caverns except for Dogs. Clayton had to admit that when he had the time, he would join Dylan in the game from time to time.
As he straightened up the cardboard boxes, he heard a voice. “Doing another short film, Clayton?” A feminine voice asked.
Clayton looked behind him and saw that Da Vinci was walking up to the project. “I can help you with your project, as I’m seeing a vision of what your project will be like.” Da Vinci said to Clayton as she waved her pink painted paw in the air.
The Dalmatian looked at Da Vinci as he wagged his tail. “Do tell.” Said Clayton as he was eager to hear what Da Vinci had in mind for the cardboard boxes. Da Vinci led Clayton to the paint buckets and carried them back to the cardboard boxes as she explained her vision to him. Like there would be a yellow brick road for the cars to drive on. Red buildings with decorations on them. Etc.
“That’s a pretty good idea, Da Vinci.” Said Clayton as he wagged his tail happily. “That should get my short film up and running.” “It definitely will, Clayton.” Da Vinci agreed as she looked at the Cardboard boxes and the makeshift road again. “Just needs a bit of an artist's touch.”
Clayton wagged his tail as he watched Da Vinci decorate his set for him as he started filming the scenery with his camcorder, never missing any shot of the miniature stage for the giant canine that he had in mind for the set.
“Done.” Da Vinci said to Clayton.
Clayton looked at the miniature set and wagged his tail; he really enjoyed the artistic nature that Da Vinci brought to his short film.
“Thanks for doing this, Da Vinci.” Said Clayton as he put his Camcorder away.
“Anytime, Clayton.” Said Da Vinci as she got her paint cans and walked over to the wall that she was using for her canvas.
Clayton admired what Da Vinci did with the cardboard boxes and the makeshift road that the Dalmatian created. He didn’t mess the scenery up as he preferred not messing up Da Vinci’s art when he heard another voice. “Hi Clayton, whatcha doing?”
The Dalmatian looked and saw Destiny. “Making a short film.” He replied to her.
“Maybe I can help.” Destiny suggested as she walked up to him. “What would you like for me to do?”
Clayton thought for a bit. “There is one thing you can do for me.” He replied to Destiny as he got his camcorder back out. “Could you be the gentle giant in the short film that I’m working on?”
Destiny wagged her tail happily. “I’d be happy too.” She said to Clayton as she walked over to the makeshift town, Clayton recorded Destiny with his camera as Destiny showed how innocent she was by moving the toy cars toward their parking spaces, she even pretended to help people across the street by letting them ride on her back.
Clayton wagged his tail, loving how the short film would turn out. As soon as Clayton was finished filming, he thanked Destiny and headed toward a laptop and plugged his Camcorder up onto the Laptop, downloading the movie onto it, hoping to save it.
He was happy with the results, but as he was working on editing the film, he couldn’t help but feel that he was missing something that would make the film even better while he could add in the sound effects. He was missing that one true moment that made the film great.
“Hi Clayton.” A male voice spoke.
Clayton wagged his tail, seeing that DJ was walking up to him. “Hey DJ, I was wondering if you could help me with some songs for this movie that I have filmed.” He said to DJ.
“Sure.” DJ said to Clayton. “Let me take a look at your movie.” He walked over to the Laptop and watched the film. “Okay, I’ve got something you’re going to like, Clay.” He popped in a CD and copied them into the Laptop.
Clayton watched the CD reach 25% as he looked at DJ. “Any idea on what the songs you have chosen will be in the movie?” He asked.
DJ smiled as he saw that the CD reached 50%. “Trust me, I believe that you’re going to like it.” He said to Clayton. “You remember films that have gentle giants, right?”
“Yeah.” Clayton replied to DJ as he tilted his head. “What about them?”
DJ saw that the CD was 75% done. “Well, I gathered a lot of songs from those movies, some were from certain websites like from the Pineapple App.” He replied to Clayton. “But there’s also the vinyl records that I have as well.”
“Go on.” Clayton suggested, wanting to hear more of what DJ was stating.
DJ smiled, wagging his tail as the CD reached 100% Done. “Well, check this out.” He said to Clayton. He set up the music so that it would play with the movie as well.
Clayton wagged his tail. “Thanks DJ, this should be entered in the Short Film contest in no time.” He said to DJ.
“Anytime, Clayton.” DJ said as he left Clayton to his film.
Clayton burned the Movie onto the CD.
During family time, Clayton walked over to the TV and looked at the Dalmatians. “Okay, everyone.” He said to them. “With the help of Da Vinci, Destiny and DJ. I was able to get my movie off the ground.” He put the CD in. “Enjoy.” He hit the play button.
Doug, Delilah and everyone smiled as they enjoyed the film that Clayton made.

Hey there I was giving to for Cadpig. I chose to write the crossover one with 101 Dalmatians series and rescue rangers. Now I’m not to familiar with the rescue rangers and everything like that but I tried my best and I hope Cadpig you like it and have a Merry Christmas.
One day is the location of Grutley Farm the pups were happily playing a game of ultimate frisbee, it was Lucky, Rolly, Dipstick and Wizzer vs Cadpig, Two- tone and Spot.
Spot said in a bored sad voice “ why do I have to be goalie, so boring.” Suddenly action was in place as the frisbee was being tossed around.
Cadpig said to Spot “ keep our goal safe. Two-tone block Rolly and take care of Wizzer and Dipstick, leave Lucky to me.”
Meanwhile Cruella was sitting in her home in her room watching the pups play and she wondered to herself and Scorch who was half paying attention “ hmm look at them Scorch, they look so happy, that could of been us doing that, but all of our 1million attempts to take the farm from the Dearlys has failed spectacularly. Guess we a destined to live in this house forever.”
Scorch tried to make the remark to her “ what is so bad about this house, it’s big, you have servants and the house rooms are big and nice.”
Cruella said to Scorch “ yes this is good, but I have been in every room a lot of times and I’m getting bored, my servants serve me breakfast at 1030am when I asked them to serve it at 1029am. The yard needs to be bigger, sure it’s big enough to fit suburb in it but it needs to be more.”
Suddenly an orange cat with yellow sclera with green irises and a red nose. He dons a blue beanie hat with cut outs for his ears and a blue vest, with brown fur and a brown nose. He wears a tan hat and a red shirt, a green lizard reptile with yellow eyes. He wears a phedora and a brown coat with a fedora hat, a rat with brown fur and a black nose. He wears a sleeveless red shirt with a black vest. He also wears a blue cap that covers his eyes and a big tabby cat with a purple coat over a blue vest, a black dress shirt, and a red tie were roaming outside Cruella’s house.
Meanwhile back the dearly farm as the Pups were playing, Lucky noticed a group of animals, two Chipmunks, two mice and a fly. Rolly said to the group after seeing the fly as he grabbed a stick “ stand back I’ve got this.” As he went to smack the fly Two-tone stopped him and said “ wait, let’s see who they are and what they want.”
The pups approached them and Lucky said “ okay can you please explain who you are and why you guys are here?”
Chip said to the pups. “ hmm sorry to bother you, let us introduce ourselves my name is Chip and the chipmunk with the red nose is Dale. The mouse wearing the blue-magenta mechanic jumpsuit, a purple belt, and a pair of cyan goggles, that’s Gadget. The mouse with the large and muscular frame, tan fur, and thick, bushy mustache, a red shirt and a tilted brown fedora hat is Monterey Jack. The greenish blue fly is Zipper. Together we are the rescue rangers. What about you guys.
Lucky said to them “ well I guess it’s nice to meet you and well we are all the same thing you know Dalmatians except for one and well I’m Lucky because I’m Lucky and of the horse shoe spotted pattern on my back, the big guy Rolly, he never stops eating, the small one is Cadpig, don’t make her mad, the non Dalmatian even though she think she is want to be one is our chicken friend named Spot, the guy with the black spot on his eye is Patch, he is one of a kind, the pup with the white front and black behind is one of favourites Two-tone, the pup who is looking like he is about to a leak is Wizzer, the pup with a black tip on his tail is Dipstick. We are 8 of 101 Dalmatians and a chicken.”
Patch, Two-tone, Wizzer and Dipstick went to the barn to rest. Two -tone said to them “ we’ll catch you later.”
“ So why are you here again? Oh we just wanted to join in the fun and play with you guys.”
The pups looked at each other “ okay sure.” Cadpig said to them “ we have bark brigade training fairly soon. You can join us but it’s hard work.”
Chip said to them “ okay we’ll join in.”
Meanwhile back at Cruella’s house Fat Cat and his gang met up with Cruella. “ While Cruella was lying in her bed she heard a noise. It said “ do you want that farm, we can help.”
Cruella said “ huh who said that? Is it my subconscious telling me? Well stop it I’ll just fail.” She heard it again. “ you won’t fail, we will help get the farm off the pups and anyone else who lives there.”
“ Seriously who is saying that.” She looked and saw Fat Cat, Mepps, Wart, Mole and Snout.
“ who are you guys?” Cruella said to the group.
Fat Cat spoke and said “ well sorry for interrupting you, but I’m Fat Cat, the other cat is Mepps, Mole is Mole, the rat is Snout, the lizard is Wart and we are here to help you steal the farm off them. “
“ how do we do that.” Cruella said. “ Follow my lead.” Fat Cat said.
Back at the farm the pups and Rescue Rangers had just finished their bark brigade training and Lucky and Cadpig were either to watch tv as the pups reached the barn, Two-tone said to gang “ the TV is gone.” Rolly said to her” Ah that’s not a huge deal, as long as we have food that’s all that matters to me.” Rolly realised the eaten trough was missing “ hey wasn’t there supposed to be our eating trough here?” Cadpig said to Lucky “ what’s going on?” Lucky approached Chip and said “ you said oh we just wanted to join in the fun and play with you guys. You know to me, perhaps I’m wrong but it seems odd that’s what you to individuals who you just met. So I’m going to ask again, because everything was fine until you guys the Rescue Rangers showed up. Why are you here and what do you want from us.”
“ We saw a group of enemies going towards that big house over in the distance. We are concerned that they are up to no good.”
Cadpig said “ wait that’s Cruella’s place and the guys must have talk to her and the stuff missing.” She paused and started to realise what was going on.
“ Split up check everywhere on the farm.” Cadpig said to the pups.
She turned back to rangers and said “ we are being invaded by Cruella and your enemies. Can you please help us stop them.”
Lucky said to everyone “ let’s do this Chip, Rolly and I will be together, Gadget, Monterey and Cadpig you will be together. Spot, Zipper and Dale you will be together. Now next thing what do you enemies look like?”
Chip said to everyone “ they look like Two Cats, a mole, a rat and a lizard.
Cadpig chipped in said to everyone “ well the mole and the lizard will most likely arrive underground we can check there. The rat well we know where rats hang out here and Spot you can check that out by the swamp and Lucky and Rolly take care of the felines. “
Rolly said to everyone “ okay let’s get to work.”
Cadpig, Monterey and Gadget had entered the underground of farm in search of any thieves or any of their missing things. “ keep looking for any clues, particularly a lizard and a mole, if you see anything yell out that’s sus.”
Spot, Zipper and Dale reached the swamp and Spot was mumbling under her voice “ why did I have to be the one to search in the swamp.” She and Zipper and Dale were keeping watch of Snout.
Lucky, Rolly and Chip were inside the barn spying from the window to see if they could find anything sus.
Meanwhile not that far from the farm Fat Cat said to Cruella “ see we have their tv and food trough. My boys will continue to steal their stuff and that’ll drag them out and then you and your boys will have complete control of their farm. “
Cruella said “ okay buy you can drag them out, that doesn’t solve anything they’ll come back in eventually.”
Fat Cat then said to Cruella “ oh no they won’t be allow back in, I will make sure they stole all this stuff, their paw prints will be all over everything.”
Cruella smirked in an evil way and so did Fat Cat “ okay I like that plan.” She said.
Back underground, everything suddenly went dark and Monterey was missing. Cadpig felt like she had been hit by a train. Cadpig realised “ oh no Monterey is missing, did you see anyone?”
“ No unfortunately I didn’t see anyone, but I have a feeling I know who was here. I’m going to kick his you know what the next time I see him. “
Cruella and Fat Cat now had Monterey in their possession.
Fat Cat said to his minions “ guys get me a few more things and we are in serious business. Those pups are way too weak to take me down.”
Cruella said to Fat Cat “ let’s capture one of those pups and a rescue ranger.”
As Rolly, Lucky and Chip were search for cats or anything suspicious, Rolly found a plate full of the most succulent sausages ever. Rolly couldn’t resist and chased after it only for Rolly to get captured by Mepps. “ Got you big boy, hope you enjoyed your meal, because it’s the last one you will ever have as a free pup.”
Cadpig and Gadget ran to Lucky and Chip. Cadpig said “ I found someone it’s a cat, he looks mean and cold. We can’t take him out by ourselves.”
Gadget said to Lucky and Cadpig “ that is Fat Cat, the most deceiving piece of you know what, you’re right Cadpig he won’t go down if we try to fight him by ourselves
Lucky said “ we won’t have to take him out ourselves, we need the entire bark brigade to help us out and you know who, the guy that hates cats.”
Cadpig said “ Pug? We need to inform him?”
Lucky, Cadpig, Gadget and Chip went to where Lt. Pug was at to inform him of what was going on.
Meanwhile as Spot, Zipper and Dale were leaving the Swamp, Snout captured them by catching them in vine trap.
Fat Cat noticed the 4 of them leave the barn. Snout said to him “ sir your next set of victims. Spot, Zipper and Dale.”
Fat Cat was amazed “ wow Dale from the rescue rangers, you guys have got no chance now. See Snout that’s not all that’s been caught. Look at these 4 stinky mutts, especially the big guy.”
Fat Cat said to Cruella “ you may proceed. “
Cruella shouted at Jasper and Horace “ JASPER HORACE, bring my furniture and things I don’t need in my house to put them here in this new Cruella barn.”
Lucky, Cadpig, Chip and Gadget made their way to Pug’s place and knocked on his door.
Pug opened and he said “ what is it young pups?
Cadpig said to him “ we need your help, our farm is under attack and we will all be in serious danger if we don’t act soon.”
Pug replied “ yeah not happening sorry Carpool, but I have stuff to watch.”
Lucky said “ but sir soon there will be no tv to watch.”
Pug said “then I’ll read the paper.”
Cadpig said to Lucky “ well looks like our lieutenant is a wimp. I mean I guess we got to face facts, cats are just better than us dogs, I hate to admit that, they are better leaders and listeners.”
Pug was watching the tv and overheard what Cadpig was saying and his eyes lit up and he shouted” CAT, THE LEADER OF THE INVASION IS A CAT? Why didn’t you say that earlier?”
Pug ran towards the barn and Lucky, Cadpig, Chip and Gadget ran with him. “ look at the cages all of our friends are in there.” Lucky said.
“ Fat Cat is heading towards the barn once the barn once he is in there, we can get to the cages and let our friends out.” Chip said
As Fat Cat and Cruella were setting up Cruella’s stuff in the farm barn, the pups, Pug, Chip and Gadget got to the cages. Rolly said “ hey get us out of here, the rat has the key for the cages.”
Snout was casually sitting and trying to guard the cages, only for Pug, Lucky, Cadpig, Chip and Gadget, sneak up behind him and beat him up.
Cadpig took the key and opened all the cages to let the trapped animals free. Two-tone, Patch, Dipstick, Wizzer, Rolly, Spot, Dale, Zipper and Monterey.
Two- tone said to the gang “ thanks for rescuing us. When you get to that cat, kick his tail for me.” Her, Patch, Wizzer and Dipstick went to hiccup hole to cool off.
Fat Cat came out of the barn and noticed the cages were open and there was no one sight.
Cadpig said to the gang “let’s go underground “ Lucky, Chip, Dale, Rolly, Pug, Spot, Gadget, Monterey and Zipper, followed her in.”
They caught up with Mole and beat him up and taped him to the wall.
Chip said “ two down three to go.”
Further down the underground, they found the lizard.
“ Wart you bugger you “Chip said.
Zipper stepped up and said “ Guys leave this one to me. Monterey Cmon let’s take him out.”
Zipper distracted Wart by buzzing in his ear and from the other side, Monterey Jack punched Wart in the face, which knocked Wart out.
Lucky said “ 2 more left.”
Lucky, Cadpig, Chip, Dale, Rolly, Pug, Spot, Gadget, Monterey and Zipper got out of the underground and spotted Mepps and Pug said to everyone “ let me handle this one. “
Pug jumped on Mepps and beat him up and he got up saying to his face “ I hate cats.”
Chip said to everyone “ there is one more left, and it’s the biggest problem of the lot. “
Pug said to everyone “ listen up if we are going to take him down, it’s going to be a team effort, everyone has to be on board. Lucky use your speed. Cadpig use your small size to your advantage. Rolly burp in his face maybe some food will go in his eyes and blind, Zipper annoy him like any fly does, Monterey Jack use your power, Gadget build me the most powerful thing you can think of for a cat, make sure he likes it. Dale don’t be lazy and Chip beat him up like the leader I know you are.”
Pug saw Fat Cat come out of the barn and Pug went up to him and said “ so you are the freak who invaded this farm.”
Fat Cat “ well past tense my friend, you see it would have been an invasion if the farm wasn’t the pups, but we have finished moving in, which means the farm now belongs to me and her.”
Cruella walked out of the barn along with Jasper and Horace.
Cadpig, Rolly and Lucky got really angry as wanted to tear Cruella’s face in half.
Gadget was building something and was almost finished.
Pug said to Fat Cat “ well then how about this we fight for the right to live on this farm, you 4 vs us.”
Fat Cat said “ deal. “
He looked at Cruella, Jasper and Horace and jested to them to attack the pups and the rescue rangers and Pug. Pug did the same for his team.
Lucky, Rolly and Cadpig attacked Jasper and Horace, Cruella fought Spot and Monterey Jack and Zipper.
Jasper, Horace and the pups had a regular battle of just brawling. Eventually Jasper and Horace were left beaten up. Lucky, Rolly and Cadpig had walked away.
The fly buzzed in her face causing her to be annoyed. She trying shoeing it away, Spot started pecking Cruella’s face, Monterey Jack then tackled Cruella.
Chip, Dale, Pug and Gadget were facing Fat Cat. Gadget had finished building something for Fat Cat and she revealed it to him. There was a mechanical mouse running behind the rescue rangers and Fat Cat tried to chase it, Dale hit him in the chest, Chip hit him in the face and Gadget hit him downstairs. Fat Cat fell to the floor. Pug said to the rangers hold him down. Gadget stood on his right foot, Dale stood on his left foot and Chip stood on his left hand paw. Cadpig, Lucky and Rolly stood on his right hand paw.
Fat Cat was flat on his back with his arms and legs pinned by the rangers and pups and spread out. Pug got in his face and said “ GET OFF OUR FARM, I HATE CATS.” Pug then beat him up.
Fat Cat was left flat on his back with his arms and legs spread out.
Cruella, Jasper and Horace quickly retreated. Mepps, Snout, Mole and Wart all grabbed a limp from from Fat Cat and retreated as well.
The rescue rangers, pups and Pug were on the farm.
Lucky said to Chip and Pug “ thank you for your help with the threat of them.”
Pug said “ Pah I’ve seen worse, rangers you guys are all right. Now leave me in peace I have got things to watch.” Pug went to his area of the farm.
Cadpig then said “ rangers, we would love it if you would stay here with us.”
Chip said “ well we will love too but there are other spots in which Fat Cat could pop up again and we have to be ready, but we will definitely come visit.”
Rolly said “ at least stay the night.”
Dale, Gadget, Monterey Jack, Zipper and Chip nodded.
So the pups and rangers, ate together, watched tv together, played frisbee, swam at hiccup hole and became good friends.

Wow Raine Dearly this was truly exciting and fun to read! ^^ And yeah, I understand about this thing on not being super familiar with the Rescue Rangers as a whole. Also, there were a couple of times that quote on quote sentences were input but no reference to who said such dialogue, but I was still able to tell who was saying said sentences so kudos on that. You still gave it your best shot like you said, and it was a pretty neat story despite the grammar errors. Also, some character traits for the hero characters (the Rangers particularly (eg, Gadget's catchphrase: "Golly", and Monterrey Jack's obsession with cheese)) weren't all put in. However when it comes to developing this kind of thing, not all character traits can be necessary to display as it all just depends on the episode, ya hear? (Point being said, less is more). Overall, everyone was in character with their most basic traits on their ways of hero/villian standards, and thats what counts. Thus, the 101 Dalmatian series and the Rescue Ranger characters worked decent enough to engage in this adventure within the case scenario. It was also nice to see Scorch actually having some use of dialogue in this advantage among this civilization in this story of humans interacting with the animals. Pretty nice touch indeed! ^^ Thanks so much for your effort on making this, and have a Merry Christmas, Raine! ^^

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!
This year, I was the Secret Santa to Raine. They wanted a story of Amy, Chloe, Stephanie, and Eric buying gifts for everyone in their town of Liverpool while dressed up as Santa, Rudolph, Frosty, and an Elf.
((NGL, I thought I lost this file! Please remind me to get a new USB jump drive.))
“Costume Christmas” By: Shadow Dalmatian
Ten days. Ten days until Christmastime, and everyone in Liverpool, England is decorating with titillating holiday decors of various colors. (Or people waited until the last minute.) And even though snow isn’t forecast, the wintry air is enough to bring joy to the hearts of youngsters.
Somewhere, a humongous tree is constructed in an area where people bustle to and from their lives. And that tree is full of ornaments reminding us that Christmas magic is in the air. It’s the holidays. Christmas magic is around, whether people want it to or not.
And foremost the holidays—Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Hanukkah—are about family and friends, no matter their faith. It’s not wholly about gifts and checking to see who got the better one. Turning the holidays into a competition is on nobody’s list.
“Christmas! The time of stress!” shouted a Boxer in a heavy coat and long jeans, carrying loads of boxes containing gifts for his children. Now, he could forego Christmas shopping, but have you seen the faces of disappointed kids? It’s like your heart is pierced with an icy dagger and you’re left wondering how to mend the pain. Still, he mustered onto his vehicle onto the next store. He is one of the few people who wished Christmas wasn’t commercialized.
“’Tis the season to be jolly, my butt!” said a Maine Coon. The hood of her vehicle was ajar; no matter how many times she started the ignition, it wouldn’t budge. “Of all the times my car refuses to start, it had to happen on Christmas!” However, the cat loved her car she wouldn’t dare to kick it. Having a working car is better than having broken toes. She waited for the mechanic.
A Dalmatian strolled through the area. Her long black hair flowed through the wind. Wearing a coat, a scarf around her neck, and dark blue trousers, she took a deep breath returning to her parents’ house from a walk. She along with her siblings were visiting Raine and Melanie for the holidays. The neighbors were hard at work decorating their homes that matched their faith. She could see Christmas trees and menorahs from the windows. The Dalmatian, named Amy, felt as if she could lift off her feet, flying to the next town over and back. The magic of Christmas could help.
“Christmas makes me feel rejuvenated,” Amy said. “Being invited to Christmas parties, singing carols, and drinking hot cocoa by the fireplace. After all, this time of year is best spent with families.” She arrived at her parents, putting her coat on the coat rack. Her siblings were in the living room.
Chloe, a bulky Dalmatian, having returned from the gym dressed out of her gym attire, wearing something more conservative. She made sure nothing inappropriate was exposed. She could thank Melanie for that. Eric, wearing a long-sleeved shirt and jeans, lay on the sofa, playing one of his handheld video games. Thank Dog Amy wasn’t around when Eric was nearly finished with a level and got a Game Over, forcing him to start over. Melanie wasn’t thrilled. “Eric, a fine gentleman doesn’t speak such language!” Melanie would say if Amy was around. Eric would then apologize rather than scoff. After all, scoffing at your parents isn’t the adult thing to do.
Stephanie couldn’t put her novel down, her eyes fixated on the page. The next installment of The Corkshire Mysteries she bought online as the nearest bookstore didn’t have a copy in stock. An avid reader, Stephanie could immerse herself in literature and everything else seems to melt away. That was for certain.
“Oh, hey, Amy’s back,” Eric said, looking up from his game. “Did you have a nice walk?”
Amy nods. “I have. Thanks.”
“You’re welcome.”
“How far are you now? In your game?”
”Not far. Only five percent in. I’ve started it today. It’s fun.”
Stephanie rolled her eyes. “You’re easily able to get sucked into your video games, Eric.” Donning a long red-sleeved shirt and long wool trousers, her black/orange duality hair done up in unbraided pigtails, she was the poster girl for football (soccer for Americans). She couldn’t get enough of the sport. Remaining loyal to Liverpool FC, she tries to make it to every home game. She enjoys being with other Scousers rooting for the home team. Sometimes, she goes with Eric. Two football fans.
“Video games teach hand-eye coordination, sis,” Eric replied. “Not to mention it offers job opportunities.” Stephanie more than much would love this conversation to end. Reading strengthens your brain, whereas video games rot brain. Video games also encourage sedentary lifestyles, and that’s coming from people who think people are playing too much.
“And reading helps your brain stay in shape,” Stephanie rebutted, “lowering risks of dementia or Alzheimer’s.”
This was an argument culminating without a winner. Eric shrugged, resuming his game at the same time Stephanie focused on her book. Amy cleared her throat. Her siblings eyed her.
“Jingle bells and holiday cheers!” Amy said. Now, that she got their attention, whatever she has to say, she knows it will strengthen the Christmas spirit. “Why should we be the only ones getting presents? There could be those less fortunate than us.”
Eric pondered, thinking of a rebuttal. He knew that Amy meant well, but some of her plans had a tendency to get them in trouble. For instance, when finding £100 on the ground. Amy chose to do the right thing and return it to its original owner. Humorously, all she could think about was the look on the person’s face after receiving their lost money that she didn’t see her whereabouts. Reality grabbed Amy by the throat as she fell in complete darkness. Outside, Eric and Stephanie heard a splash, followed by a weak “Owwww.” Amy can unofficially check falling in a sewage hole off her bucket list.
“And how would we know which families celebrate Christmas?” he asked. “Some could be Buddhist or Jews or Muslim. We have no way of knowing unless we ask. And don’t think about forming a scheme about breaking into people’s houses. I don’t want to spend Christmas Day in jail. We won’t hear the end of it from Mum and Dad.” He straightened his blue jumper after noticing it was wrinkling from his sitting posture.
Amy could sense awkwardness. She had a wonderful idea; she was certain her siblings would be on board. She could levitate off the ground, doing a mid-air somersault, gracefully landing on her feet. “This may be a long shot, but why don’t we go into town and buy Christmas gifts for everyone?” she said in a jovial tone, breaking the ice.
Chloe shook her head, smirking. “Purchasing and giving every Scourser gifts? Are you aware of how expensive that is?” she asked. “There are 513,440 people in Liverpool, and then there’s the type of gifts, plus tax. All in all, we’d need to be billionaires to at least afford half. No offense, but your life is like a fairytale, where we find a bajillion pounds in an alleyway. When will you realize your life is not a Ralph Bidney movie?”
Amy stood deadpan. “Sorry for trying to spread some Christmas joy.” she scoffed.
Stephanie marked her spot with a floral bookmark before closing her novel, and looking up at her sister. “Chloe means well, I know, but she knows when to keep you grounded to face reality. Do you remember last month when an unknown caller claimed you won a cruise and all you had to win the tickets was to send £250? You had us all roped in your heinous, inane schemes. It took me, Eric, Chloe, Mum, and Dad to bring you back down to Earth. If you have to pay a fee to get a prize, odds are it’s a scam.”
“That’s different!” Amy replied. “I’m feeling generous and wanting to give back to the people for no reason at all. Besides, I have an idea. What if we buy gifts and donate them?”
“We could buy toys and books, and we can’t forget our relatives.” Chloe nods. It’s the holiday, and what better way to bring Christmas cheer than by thinking of the needy? “And it’s a way that we can buy gifts for people who are struggling to have a good Christmas. It’s also good for our conscience.”
“And!” Amy chimed in, grinning, “I have a surprise that could bring us more in the Christmas spirit! So, I’m on holiday overdrive. I just love the Christmas season.”
Eric eyed Amy. “As long as it isn’t degrading,” he said.
“I look stupid.”
Christmas shopping sometimes meant dressing up for the occasion. Amy, she thought it be best if she and her siblings donned costumes. Eric looked adorable dressed as Frosty the Snowman, though he needed help putting it on. Atop his head, was a black red-rimmed top hat, and he held a broom he brought from Raine and Melanie’s home. He refused the pipe because he thought it sent a bad message. Chloe made herself into a bulky Rudolph, complete with a clown nose that, sadly, didn’t light up. She hoped her antlers wouldn’t cause problems. The last thing she wants is to poke someone’s eye out. The elf in the group was Stephanie, who looked mesmerizing her her tunic and hat. And Amy, dressed in an all too familiar red and white coat, complete with the beard and hat with the white ball at the end of it, was Santa Claus. There is nothing wrong with a girl dressing up as a Christmas being predominately portrayed by males. The same can be said by a male dressing up as Mrs. Claus.
“I just know that we’ll stand out in the crowd,” said Eric. Still, he wanted to do this. For his siblings. For Christmas. “If anyone pushes me down on the ground and makes me a helpless turtle, it’ll take every fiber of my being not to kick their holiday butt.”
“Eric, brother,” Amy grinned, peering at Eric through her small glasses. “If you do that, you’ll be a naughty boy this year.”
“So, which store we we going to?” Stephanie asked.
“Liverpool One,” Amy replied.
“Liverpool One, the number one shopping center in the UK,” Chloe said. She’s a frequent visitor to the complex. They have shops for everything. Beauty supplies. A clothing store to dress nicely for dates. “Stores galore, it’s easy to max out your credit cards, and you get an aerobic workout at the same time.”
When they arrived, via train, the first store they visited was Beauty Bazaar. The place screamed perfume and other feminine products. It also had a champagne bar, which is perfect for Eric to visit while his sisters find gifts for their aunts, uncles, and cousins. Besides, he could buy gifts of his own via the Internet. Still, he stayed with his sisters as they browsed around. Though, he could give his female cousins makeovers courtesy of The Studio. For some reason, he sees Shadow being a frequent visitor.
“Oh, these are perfect for Aunt Frida and Aunt Irene and Amber,” Chloe said, taking up some perfume and lipstick. “And as for Ashleigh, I’m thinking about getting her the new Imelda game on Steam.” Her cousin Ashleigh is a hardcore gamer. She even has her streaming account for weekends.
Store after store, the four, in their costumes, being stopped by passersby who wanted to get their pictures taken, and Eric becoming a bongo by a six-year-old Siberian Husky, continued their holiday shopping. Until some of their friends recognized them.
“Steph? Is that you?” asked a Rottweiler. Dressed in a heavy coat, he waved at her siblings.
“What. . . no why. . . why are you all dressed the way you are?” laughed Ashlyn, a Maine Coon. She dressed more conservatively, in a fine dress that stopped at her feet and no one but her boyfriend of seven years had clearance to see her. . . birthday suit.
“We’re just doing some last-minute Christmas shopping,” said Amy, adjusting her curly white beard. “And before you ask, yes, this was my idea, and we’re doing this to brighten up the Christmas spirit in my siblings.”
“Try not to be mistaken for a mall Santa,” snickered Ashlyn.
“If that happens, I’m out. I’ll be a runaway elf.” Stephanie managed to say. All she wanted was to end this conversation and focus on shopping. After all, Christmas is around the corner and she wants to spend as much time with her family as possible. She was certain her siblings felt the same.
Furthermore, there were still toys and books they still needed to get to donate to charity. “You know, we still need to buy stuff to give to charity. Maybe toys and books. Where’s the donation bin?” Stephanie asked.
“By the post office,” Ralph, the Rottweiler, said.
Amy chimed in. “You don’t say? Thinking of others is what Christmas is about in my opinion.”
“And some people only think of themselves.”
“That is a pet peeve of mine.”
“How can people be narcissistic?”
Ralph cleared his throat, gathering Amy and Stephanie’s—and even Chloe and Eric’s—attention. “This has been fun and all, but Ashlyn and I do have to get our Christmas shopping done. Invite us next year. Ashlyn would make a beautiful Mrs. Claus!”
Ashlyn blushed and gripped Ralph’s arms and walked off, carrying the Rottweiler with her.
The following two days, Amy and the others had to stay home because Melanie felt under the weather. The remaining five days were devoted to watching Christmas-themed plays and watching television specials, all while Melanie was on the mend.
The following day, when Melanie felt better, Amy and the others, in their holiday costumes, walked into Wondrous Books, the nearest bookstore. Who says you can’t get books for Christmas? The mission: Give books to charity, and some to their relatives, like Raine, who eyed Book 2 in the Grenadine Cycle. And contemporaries for Melanie. Who doesn’t enjoy a nice contemporary? Chloe and Eric split up to get the respective books, and Amy went off to get the books for charity. YA books. Children’s books. Adult books. None of which are graphic.
Chloe made her way to the section marked Romance. Pulling out for hardcover novels, she recognized them as a genre her Mum would surely enjoy. She made her way to the circulation desk. The cashier was a middle-aged bovine. A bull. “Escaping from jolly ‘ol Saint Santy Clays, are you?” he asked. “I’ll be careful, you hear? If he finds you and captures you, it’s back to the North Pole for you.”
Chloe rolled her eyes, grinning. “If you see Santa, hide me. Take me to the break room. Santa cannot find me. You’re right. I went AWOL. It’s the same thing every year. I missed elf practice because I was out taking pictures of the North Pole. How Chloe make a living? She’s a freelance photographer. She gets paid to travel the world and take pictures to be used for magazines and websites. Right now, she’s content spending the holidays with her family. “And if you will, I’d like to purchase these books.” She gave the books to the bull, watching as he rang up her order. As she watched, she twiddled her fingers, trying not to make a fool of herself. It would be wrong not to say that Chloe may have a crush on the cashier. “Are you single?” she asked, covering her muzzle in shock.
“Married to my beautiful wife of eight years. Sorry.”
“Don’t mention it.” Chloe paid the bull via debit, took the books, in which the bull neatly placed them in a bag sporting the store’s name in gold, and left without saying anything. How could she make a fool of herself? Chloe passed by her siblings without saying a word.
“Chloe!” shouted Amy. “Where are you going? The froyo shop’s this way!”
“I’ll be somewhere else. F. . finding what else we can donate to charity. And. . . I made a mistake. I asked a married bull if he was single. If he was, I would ask for a bite to eat at the pub.” Chloe would only want to become an actual flying reindeer, so she can fly back home and spend mindless hours on the Internet. Anything to get that embarrassing moment from her mind. But, she’ll laugh about it. Eventually.
“Come on, frozen yogurt can lift your spirit.” Amy gave her sister a warm smile.
How could Chloe say no, especially during this time of year?
Walking into the froyo shop, the four made their yogurt choices. The other patrons noticed their costumes, and some walked up to compliment them and to take pictures, with their permission.
Amy chose vanilla and put sprinkles gummy worms and chocolate wafers. Eric chose chocolate and sprinkles and put mini marshmallow bites in his concoction. “I’d say we deserve this for a job well done,” he said.
Chloe chose strawberry and added strawberries and cherries. Stephanie chose vanilla and added the same toppings as Amy. After paying, Stephanie took a bite of her yogurt and said, “Well, I think we can say that our holiday shopping is officially closed. We hid the gifts we bought for our relatives and after we finish with this, we’ll head to the post office to put the gifts we bought in the donation bin.”
Eric chimed in, a thought sparking in his mind. “You know, we didn’t necessarily have to buy things. We could’ve gone back to Mum and Dad and brought stuff that used to belong to us that we don’t use anymore. We could have saved money. But either way, we’re doing a good cause.” he said.
Chloe seemed to be in another world, replaying what had happened in the bookstore in her mind. She did not hear Amy suggest they should head to the toy store and buy board games or video games and toys. She did not hear Eric get up and buy him seconds. All she could think about was asking if the bull was single. Chloe wished she could go back in time to stop herself, but she knew better than to change the past. The worst that could happen is a family tragedy. Or a giant robotic Santa catching aflame, its inferno burning bright.
She snapped back to reality after hearing her siblings repeatedly calling her name.
“Chloe? You okay?” Eric asked. “Your yogurt is beginning to melt.”
Chloe shrugged and downed her dessert in ten seconds flat. She got up and tossed the cup and plastic spoon in the trash receptacle. “I’m okay. It’s not a big deal. It’s not the end of the world. I’ve been knocked down, but I got up again.” She cleared her throat. “So, about charities.”
Her siblings listened.
“Before we can officially close our holiday shopping, we can stop by the toy store and purchase tons of toys and games and head to the post office,” Chloe said. It felt like they’d started, but time flies when you’re having fun. She smiled at her siblings. It felt best that she went out instead of staying inside.
“We’ll bring holiday cheer to those in need!” Amy said, pumping her fist in the air. Never before has anyone seen Fist Pumping Santa. Nobody has seen a Karate Santa, but there’s a first for everything.
Eric and Stephanie shook their heads. Heading out of the froyo shop, the four made their way to the toy store and bought anything they could get their hands on. Electronic games. Board games. Water soakers. Eric, honestly, wished he could get one of the water soakers. It’s perfect on a nice summer day. Heading out with their purchases, they placed them in the boot of Chloe’s car (trunk for Americans) got in, and drove off to the video game store and purchased family-friendly games. Who in their mind would buy mature-rated video games for their kids?
When the four were finished, Amy put in the GPS for the post office. Once there, she and her siblings went inside with their goodies and gently placed them inside the bin. Here’s hoping no one is a Grinch. Stealing from needy children? How awful.
“Well, that brings us to the end of our holiday shopping!” said Eric. “My feet hurt from all this walking. I can’t wait to go home and continue on my game.”
“Speaking of which, how far are you in your game now? Since the days Mum’s been sick.” grinned Amy.
“I’ve to say that I’m currently halfway through. I would have brought my console with me, but I didn’t want to pass off as an inane person. Besides, there are three days until Christmas, so I wouldn’t have time to continue anyway.”
Three days until Christmas and Amy, Eric, Chloe, and Stephanie can hardly wait for Christmas Day. To experience the yearly traditions of wearing paper crowns. Opening poppers and presents. And to enjoy a freshly cooked Christmas dinner. However, Amy couldn’t help but remember last year, when she bought Eric a figurine of his favorite video game character at the time at the mall when she placed the bag down in front of the lady's room. When she exited, the bag was gone. And she bought the last one in stock. She learned from past mistakes.
“Amy, if you’re remembering what happened last Christmas, I've already forgiven you,” Eric said, getting into Chloe’s car. “You don’t have to stay in the past. What happened, happened. And we can’t change it.”
Chloe started the car. “All right, it’s back to Mum and Dad’s for more Christmas preparations!” She backed up and shifted into Drive, straightened the car, and drove off back to Raine and Melanie’s house.
But all in all, this will be a Christmas worth remembering.
Hope you'll enjoy this, Raine! Merry Christmas!

Well, Happy Holidays, everyone. I didn’t think I would get my entry done in time, but I did! Anyway, I was assigned Stirfry for this year’s Secret Santa. Despite the fact that he said something that offended me the day before I got assigned to him, I still went ahead and did the fanfic he requested.: - It was Christmas time in Grutely. Well, somebody has to solve this mystery, and what better pup to do it than me?” Sandy went around and interrogated the pups. I think the only thing to know for sure is to set up some bait for the thief and find out who the culprit really is.” Later that day, Sandy wrapped up a present she was going to give to Camera. “I don’t see how this can possibly be happening, but I gotta find out how!” Sandy went to an undisclosed area and set up a computer and lots of other high tech equipment. She plugged her phone into a jack. “There’s no way those presents can just float away all by themselves,” she said. “It has to be some kind of paranormal activity.” She watched the video again on her computer. I’m going to solve this mystery myself and give the others real proof!” The next day, Sandy set out another present as bait. This time she watched while wearing infrared goggles. A few minutes later, a figure approached the present. It was a full-bodied ghostly dog figure. “So this is who has been stealing all the presents,” she thought. “I gotta find out why it’s been doing this.” As soon as the ghost picked up the present, Sandy jumped out and shouted, “Hey, you!” This caught the ghost’s attention. It quickly flew away. “Wait!” said Sandy chasing after the ghost. “I just wanted to ask you something!” But try as she might, the ghost just kept flying away from her, so much that it wore her out, and she lost it. “Dang it!” Sandy groaned. “Guess I have another mystery to solve: why that ghost won’t let me talk to it.” Sandy thought carefully of a way she can talk to the ghost. “I’m in the middle of a poem I’m writing for my friends.” “Well, that’s sweet of you,” said Sandy. “Hey, I was wondering if you could help me out with something. Are you available?” “I guess I can set this project aside for now,” said Joey. “So what’s going on?” Sandy explained, “I’m sure you are aware of all the disappearing presents?” “Of course I am,” said Joey. “All my presents have disappeared, and it has me pretty sad.” “Not to worry, Joey,” said Sandy. “I found out what’s happening. The presents have been taken away by a ghost.” Joey blinked. “Are you being serious,” Joey asked, “or are you just trying to scare me? You know I don’t like being bullied.” “No, I’m being quite serious,” said Sandy. “I even have proof.” Sandy showed Joey the video she took. Joey was shocked at what he saw. “That certainly does not look like Photoshop,” said Joey. “I believe you.” “I figured you would,” said Sandy. “I know you’re autistic, so you see things differently than other pups.” “Is that why you’re asking me for help?” asked Joey. “Actually, there’s another reason,” explained Sandy. “The ghost won’t let me talk to it. It keeps flying away from me whenever I try to come near it, but with your help, I think we should be able to track it down.” “Where is this ghost?” asked Joey. “Stick with me,” said Sandy. “We’ll find out where he or she is going.” Later that day, Sandy set out another present in the open. She and Joey hid behind a bush and watched carefully. A moment later, a ghostly figure came towards the present and picked it up. “Well, I’ll be,” said Joey. “I guess there are such things as ghosts after all.” The ghost flew away with the present. “It’s getting away,” said Sandy. “Let’s follow it, but quietly.” Sandy took out a tracking device as she and Joey slowly and quietly followed the ghost. They were lead to an undisclosed area where they saw the ghost adding the present to a mountain of other presents. It was all the presents that have gone missing. “So this is where all the presents have gone,” said Sandy. “Indeed,” said Joey. “I even see mine within that stack.” “We need to find out what this ghost wants with all these presents,” said Sandy. “Yes, but I’m still puzzled why you asked me of all pups to help you,” said Joey. “I have a pretty good reason that I think you’ll love,” said Sandy as she pulled out a trench coat and fedora. “Climb on my shoulders.” Joey was a little surprised that Sandy came up with this idea, but he would never turn down an opportunity to be carried by a girl dog, so he climbed onto Sandy’s shoulders. “I didn’t think you were into this kind of stuff, Sandy,” said Joey as he put on the coat and hat. “Not normally,” said Sandy, “but I figured it was the best way to get some answers from the ghost without being recognized.” “Usually when Belchic comes up with this idea, the other pups always turn it down,” said Joey. “Especially Clayton. He’s probably the most infamous for telling Belchic that it won’t work.” “Well, then I guess this is our chance to prove him wrong,” said Sandy with a grin. “You ready, Joey?” “Yeah,” said Joey, then he added, “but no funny business, Sandy.” Joey knew that Sandy could get a little perverted at times, but in this case, she knew she had to take this seriously. “An actual real ghost.” The ghost was a little confused now. She asked Joey, “You’re not scared of me? Usually, whenever I first greet people, they always immediately scream in terror.” “Well, I am not like those people,” said Joey. “I am actually very fascinated seeing a ghost with my own eyes. I didn’t know ghosts were real. Even if they were, I’m sure they can’t do anything to hurt me.” “Well, your assumption is right,” said the ghost. “My name is Cascara. Pleasure to meet you.” “I’m…uh, Joey,” Joey responded. “I am hear to ask you about all these presents you found here.” “Oh, these?” replied Cascara. “I’m actually a giving ghost. I come around at Christmas time to collect presents I find lying around so that I can give them to living souls who are less fortunate.” “Is that so?” Joey responded. “Well, that’s is a very wonderful and thoughtful thing for you to do, give toys to charity. However, those presents are not yours. Stealing things without asking is not a good thing to do.” “Oh, it isn’t?” asked Cascara. “Not at all,” said Joey. “You should always ask before you take things from others. These presents were for all my brothers and sisters from each other. They worked really hard to get these for them for Christmas.” “Hurry up, Joey,” Sandy whispered. “I’m so sorry,” said Cascara. “I guess I should give them back, but what about the charities I’m trying to help?” Joey thought for a bit, and then came up with a solution. “Say, I know,” he said. “My brothers and sisters may have a lot of old toys that they don’t want anymore. Those can definitely go to good cause. Maybe you can donate those instead.” Cascara responded, “I think that’s might be a good idea. They may not be the highest quality condition, but they’re better than nothing.” “If you promise to return all the presents on Christmas, I will go around and ask all the pups if they have any toys they’d be willing to let go of,” said Joey. “There’s 101 of us total, plus some outsiders, so you’re sure to get a lot!” “Great!” said Cascara. “I look forward to seeing what you bring me! Thank you very much!” With all that taken care of, Sandy walked away from Cascara. Once they were far enough away, she and Joey took their disguise off. “That was a great compromise you came up with, Joey,” said Sandy. “I’m glad I convinced her,” said Joey. “You’re not such a bad pup to work with after all.” “We do make a pretty good team,” said Sandy. “How did you two find so many in such a small amount of time?” “Well, it helps when you live on a farm with lots and lots of dogs,” said Sandy. “That’s right,” said Joey. “Thank you so much,” said Cascara. “This will make the children so happy. How can I ever repay you?” “Well, for one thing, you can give back all the presents you stole,” said Sandy. “I promise I will,” said Cascara. “On Christmas morning, you should expect to see all your presents under your Christmas tree. As for these old toys, I’m going to give them all away to needy families, and I will collect old toys from other places as well.” “But make sure you ask first,” said Joey. “I will, just so long as they don’t scream in terror and run away from me,” said Cascara. “I’m sure you’ll find a way around that,” said Sandy with a wink. “Thank you again,” said Cascara, “and Merry Christmas.” Feeling accomplished, Sandy and Joey went back to their normal lives with their friends and siblings. “How can this day get any better?” Suddenly, Sandy’s stomach growled. Sandy laughed nervously and said, “I guess my stomach is wanting some gingerbread cookies.” Joey looked at Sandy’s stomach as it growled again. He smiled and wagged his tail. Sandy blinked, “Oh? You like hearing my stomach growling, don’t you?” Joey blushed a little, “Uhh, well…sorry if I’m making you feel uncomfortable or anything.” “Aww, come here, little buddy!” Sandy said as she wrapped her paw around Joey. Joey laid his head up against Sandy’s stomach as Sandy gently stroked his back. Joey was very happy to have gained a new close friend this Christmas. “Merry Christmas, Sandy,” said Joey with a smile. Sandy responded, “Right back at ya, Joey!” The End - I hope I followed the formula you wanted correctly, Stirfry, and I hope you like how it turned out. I did my best. Thank you Belchic. I hope you know I was just playing with the comment about drawing you a lump of coal. I didn't intend any offense. I do like the story. Sandy isn't 100% in character but I think you did a good job with how little you know about her. You were correct when you wrote her as being willing to do a totem pole trench if it was genuinely an effective way to disguise herself. Overall it was pretty good and I appreciate it. ^_^
