As long as I've seen, noone has opened a thread about my fave puppy... and well, then is my duty to do one.
Whizzer, also written like Wizzer, is maybe, with Patch, the less exploited character in all the show. He always appears between other puppies without a strong role, and only say a few sentences in all the show (no more than six or seven).
Anyway, what can we say about him? He's knowed for to be one of the few friends of Mooch. And, only a few times, we can see him being a bit mean... but nothing really bad; he's only a child. My theory is that he and Dipstick are with Mooch not for being bad boys. Mooch is a Mutt who looks quite alone, Whizzer has a bladder problem who surely don't help him to be very popular, and Dipstick... is... errr... short-minded? Maybe for that they're together. It's like a group of "outcasts", but they're only children, not criminals.
The most times, when he appears between other puppies, he always looks a calm puppy (very well showed in his look, with fallen eyelids and calm smile, like if he's always half-slept) and sometimes, we can see him playing with his siblings with a disk or a dog-toy, showing that is a playful pup who doesn't really have a bad relation with his siblings. It's then when we can see his true nature, like a friendly, calm and kind boy.
Here's playing with Dipstick, Rolly and Lucky, showing that they aren't enemies or so:
It's more, Whizzer is sometimes showed like a affectionate puppy, who likes to give and receive affection
Aw! He's really lovely sometimes ^^
A curious thing: The most well knowed thing about Whizzer is his bladder problem, but... has anyone noticed that this problem is only showed two times in the show?
One of them it's in the episode Dalmation Vacation I - Road Warriors
The other time is in the episode A Christmas Cruella
Another curious point about Whizzer: He's the main character of two children books about 101 dalmatians, and one of the two main characters of a videogame that appears in 1999. In that game, he and a puppy called Patches help at the other puppies to scape from Cruella's Mansion. In this game (and as long as I know, in the books too), Whizzer is described like one of the most clever puppies. For disgrace, the series doesn't show him enough to discover that facet about him.
I conclude that it's a pity that the series doesn't show more about some puppies like Whizzer and others (Patch, Two Tone, Dipstick...). Could be interesting to know more about them.
