Please keep in mind that this thread does not directly link to any episodes. If you choose to follow these instructions, you do so at your own risk and nobody on this forum can be held responsible should anything happen. Of course, nothing should happen, but this disclaimer is necessary for the sake of appeasing certain parties.
1: Download mIRC and install it; make sure to follow the instructions.
2: Download Sysreset and install it; make sure to follow the instructions.
3: Load up Sysreset. When it loads, fill in the appropriate information and select a nickname that you wish to be identified as.
4: Type “/server irc.dejatoons.net” without quotations into the status box; you should connect to one of the servers.
5: Type “/nickserv register password e-mail” without quotations, with password being your password and e-mail being your e-mail. You should remember this information, as you will need it to identify yourself later on.
6: Click on “Sysreset” towards the top of the program and then click on “File Server Manager”. Once the screen loads, click on “File Server Triggers” and then click on “Add”. Type in your nickname and click ok, and then click cancel when it asks you about a welcome file. The third screen will ask you to select a root directory; select the folder that contains your episodes, or the folder that will contain your episodes. The content of this folder will be able to be seen by everybody on the server, as they will be able to download the contents of that folder from you. After you set up your trigger, make sure that all three of the boxes on that window are checked.
7: Click on “Tools” and then go to “Options”. Scroll down to “DCC” and make sure that “Auto-get file” is toggled. Scroll further down and click on “Fserve”, and in the section asking for root folder, select the same folder that you selected earlier.
8: Accept the changes that you’ve made and then click on “Sysreset” towards the top; scroll down to “Servers Active” and select “Silent With !List” from the list.
9: Type “/list” without quotations in the status menu and select #90s-Cartoons from the list that loads up.
10: Type “!voiceme” without quotations in #90s-Cartoons in order to get voiced.
11: Type “!list” without quotations in #90s-Cartoons in order to check the fserves.
12: To access an fserve, type in the /ctcp TRIGGER information that loads up after typing “!list”.
For the record, the following fserves have 101 Dalmatians: The Series episodes. There are others, but I don’t know of them off of the top of my head.
/ctcp bobo249 ToonVault
/ctcp Toon-Bot Stuff
Remember, once you connect to an fserve using one of the /ctcp commands, you can type "help" without quotations in order to get the basic instructions. The basic instructions will help you navigate through the fserves with commands such as "cd", "dir" and "get".
SHARE WHAT YOU GET! If you download an episode, place that episode inside of the root folder that you selected so that other people can download the stuff.
