I will say half of those are no-brainers, but the other half are games I've never heard of.

With Season 5 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic being done, I've managed to assemble a lit of my Top Favorite and Least Favorite Songs from the series as a whole. I was surprised how quickly I put together these lists, but here they are. Now, there are two things to keep in mind with these lists: 1. These lists will not include throwaway songs like "Evil Enchantress" and "Hop, Skip and Jump". 2. Neither of these lists will include songs from the Equestria Girls movies or shorts.
My Top 15 Best MLP:FIM Songs:
#15 - Winter Wrap-Up #14 - At the Gala #13 - I've Got to Find a Way #12 - Pony Pokey #11 - Bats #10 - The Flim Flam Brothers #9 - This Day Aria #8 - The Goof Off #7 - Cutie Mark Crusaders Song #6 - The Art of a Dress #5 - Smile Song #4 - Find the Music in You #3 - Babs Seed #2 - The Spectacle #1 - You'll Play Your Part
My Top 10 Worst MLP:FIM Songs:
#10 - Find a Pet #9 - Music in the Treetops #8 - Raise This Barn #7 - Hearts Strong as Horses #6 - In Our Town #5 - Apples to the Core #4 - You Got to Share, You Got to Care #3 - Glass of Water #2 - The Perfect Stallion #1 - Behold, Princess Twilight Sparkle
There you go. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, and now, I finally have! I welcome all feedback on this list. Feel free to do your own too. And no, I will NOT redo these lists with the Equestria Girls songs mixed in, so DON'T ASK!

Well, in the case of "You Got To Care", the Song is suppose to be bad, in context of the Episode, isn' it? Though, isn' the CMC song suppose to be too?
The Song, is the one they perform for the Talent Show, or are you thinking of the "Make Your Mark" Song, in Raiders Of The Lost Mark?

Though, isn' the CMC song suppose to be too> The Song, is the one they perform for the Talent Show, or are you thinking of the "Make Your Mark" Song, in Raiders Of The Lost Mark? I named these songs by what they are called on MLP Wikia, so I am talking about the song they do in "The Show Stoppers". Also, just because Jerry Peet claimed that to be one of the worst MLP songs doesn't mean I have to as well. I can like that song if I want to, can't I? On the "You Gotta Care" case, sometimes intentionally bad is still bad (take a look at Attack of the Killer Tomatoes for an example). This is a song that doesn't do the series justice, and it's from an episode that was never good to begin with. I have my reasons for liking and hating these songs.

Based on what I've seen in retro gaming in the past 10 years, thanks mostly to AVGN, I think I can say that these would have to be the... Do you happen to know of any official lists to compare to that?

So with Season 6 of MLP on the way, I have so many expectations for it, so I decided to put together a list of my Top 15 Anticipations for Season 6...
#15 - I'm hoping to see more big name celebrities appear on this show voicing new characters. They might end up becoming one shots like Weird Al, but John DeLancie has been recurring a lot as Discord, so maybe there will be some recurring characters.
#14 - As much as I am less than impressed with the Apple Family episodes and would like to see less of them, there is one thing that has been juggling around for so long that has been driving me insane, and that's the fact that AJ's parents are dead. Everyone keeps telling me they are dead, and Hasbro has even confirmed it, but I'd like to see an episode maybe in flashback where we learn more about what their parents were like and what exactly happened to them. I know some may argue that would make for a very dark episode, but so what? Kids could grow a tailbone, can't they? Besides, the series has had a lot of dark moments already. Sure, it would take a lot of courage to write an episode like that, but if they did it on Sesame Street, then they could do it on MLP too.
#13 - As we saw in the last season, the Cutie Mark Crusaders have earned their cutie marks, which was a total surprise to everyone (especially considering this is a series that spoils everything for the Bronies weeks in advance all the time). I do have a concern that we might be seeing the CMC's less and less now, or maybe even not at all. I for one do not want to see that happen, even though a majority of the show's viewers hates them. What I'd like to see is how the Crusaders utilize their talents and see how they will help other fillies earn their cutie marks. Of course, this could mean they will need to branch out and explore other regions of Equestria, because everypony in Ponyville seems to have their cutie mark now, and I'm down for that.
#12 - If there is one dark horse character that I want to see more of this season, it would have to be Maud. I just want to see more episodes where Pinkie and Maud do stuff together and how they could work as a team.
#11 - I know a lot of you might think differently about this one, but I think this show has some potential for the characters to perform a totem pole trench. Someone told me once that it'll probably never happen due to pony anatomy, but it has been performed somewhat in the episodes, "Stare Master" and "Dragon Quest", and it's also surprisingly popular in fanfiction and fan art. I've thought of tons of different combinations for how it could be performed and who by: The Mane 6, 2 of the Mane 6, 3 of the Mane 6, Pinkie and Maud, Derpy and Rarity, Lyra and Bon Bon, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Celestia and Luna, the list goes on. Maybe Spike could get in on the act; maybe there could be an episode where he goes on an adventure with Twilight or Rarity, and they do something disguised as a centaur! (It could work!) Well, overall, this is not a major thing I want to see happen on the show, but it does have a lot of potential with a lot of possible combinations. I could even accept an episode where ponies stack up without a disguise. Either way, I just hope they choose the best combination.
#10 - This show had quite a bit of episodes where a character's stomach growled. I thought it was super cute in the first season when it happened to Twilight and Pinkie. Though if they continue to do it, I'd rather not see it happen to characters who are too masculine like Rainbow Dash or Spike. I'd like to see it happen to Twilight or Pinkie again if possible, but I'd really love to see it happen to Rarity and/or Fluttershy; that would be beyond cute! Someone told me that AJ's belly growled in two Season 1 episodes, but I don't believe that as I've seen Season 1 a dozen times and never heard it happen on either of those said episodes. Well, anyway, call me crazy, but to me, belly growls from girls + some embarrassment = cuteness!
#9 - I would like to see Spike get utilized a little better this season. As I've seen in the last few seasons, the episodes that focus entirely on Spike are very weak and painful to watch. I still want to see Spike more in the series, but as a sidekick for the Mane 6 and not as a central focus character. I'd also like to see the ponies try to build closer friendship bonds with Spike such as giving him pony rides and helping him out with certain things. It would be nice to see the other mains develop stronger friendship bonds with Spike in some way, and I'd like to see how good they'd work as a team.
#8 - I'm sure this season will have a nice assortment of songs, but the types of songs I like the most in this series are the ones that are style parodies of certain artists or genres. Like we've seen style parodies of Alan Menken, Danny Elfman, Weird Al, Lady GaGa, etc. I hope to see more new styles getting parodied in the songs of this upcoming season.
#7 - We have seen Nightmare Moon and Discord come back in several episodes, and I know a lot of Bronies are anticipating the return of Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra, but I'm hoping in this season, Lord Tirek will return along with his brother, Scorpan, who was mentioned in the Season 4 finale but never revealed.
#6 - I think it would be really cool to see an episode where the Mane 6 meet evil counterparts of themselves who possess elements that are the polar opposite of theirs: Dishonesty, Disloyalty, Sadness, Selfishness, Cruelty and Mundane. This could actually work for a 2-part season premiere.
#5 - As the series progressed over the years, we have seen family members of all the Mane 6 except for one. Fluttershy is the only member of the Mane 6 who has not revealed any brothers, sisters, parents, or any sort of family at all in the series. I heard someone tell me that Fluttershy has a brother, and he was going to appear in Season 5, but that never happened (unless they're talking about some background pony in one episode who had no interaction, but I'm not counting that). I think an episode where we get to see any pony related to Fluttershy is long overdue, and this season would be the best time to do it.
#4 - As we know, in the previous season, it was announced that Princess Cadence and Shining Armor are having a baby. I was anticipating this before the episode aired, but my hopes for a baby shower episode are kind of lost now since they technically had one already at the end of that episode. I'm sure their baby will be introduced in this season, but as of right now, I don't know if it'll be a boy or a girl. I'm hoping it'll be a boy, but the rumor I'm hearing the most from different sources is that their baby is going to be Princess Starla, a pony that already has toys for it. I'll keep my fingers crossed about this one, but whatever Hasbro decides to do will likely be announced on Equestria Daily before we know it.
#3 - I've noticed that every season has introduced some kind of epic change in the series, and Season 1 has foreshadowed many of these. In Season 2, Shining Armor married Cadence. In Season 3, Twilight became an alicorn. In Season 4, Twilight got her own castle. In Season 5, the Cutie Mark Crusaders got their cutie marks. So what do you think will be the big thing for Season 6? Well, since the beginning, fans have expressed interest towards Rainbow Dash's dream of becoming a Wonderbolt, and taking that into consideration along with what we experienced in the first five seasons, I'm willing to bet that in Season 6, Rainbow Dash will become a Wonderbolt. If that does happen, I just hope Rainbow Dash doesn't become a more AWOL character, but I'm sure it will mean the Wonderbolts will be featured in more episodes.
#2 - I'm anticipating Season 6 to have a super epic finale. My idea for such a finale would be a 2-parter where the Mane 6 encounter a new villain (possibly Tirek and Scorpan), and the climax would be something like the ponies discover this new type of power, which gives them the ability to fuse together and form some super mecha pony to take out this enemy (ala Voltron)! That in my opinion would probably make the best season finale ever!
#1 - As we've seen in the Season 5 finale, Starlight is now friends with the Mane 6. The ending of this episode has sort of hinted at the fact that Starlight will become a recurring character in the series and perhaps also joining the Mane 6. I will let you know that this is not something I want to see happen! I mean, I'd be fine with seeing Starlight recurring in future episodes (it worked for Discord), but I just don't want to see the Mane 6 become the Mane 7, and a lot of other Bronies feel the same way! If Starlight did become a main pony, that means that somehow, a seventh Element of Harmony will need to be created, and it would screw up a lot of things making the whole thing seem uneven. On the other hand, there could also be the chance that Starlight might make some new pony friends and create a new team with new elements (that would actually be pretty interesting) but still keep in touch with Twilight and her friends. So overall, I did list a lot of expectations and hopes for Season 6, but if I was to give just one big request to Hasbro about this season it would be this: Please keep Starlight Glimmer out of the Mane 6!
And there you have it. Those are my Top 15 Anticipations for Season 6 of MLP. I welcome feedback, but I'm sure some of you might disagree with or argue about some of the things I listed here, and maybe you have some anticipations that I may have some feedback on.
