I have also given my own personal grades to each D.A.C. This is how I graded each one: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves: A+ Pinocchio: B+ Fantasia: A- Dumbo: B Bambi: B- Saludos Amigos: D The Three Caballeros: C Make Mine Music: B Fun and Fancy Free: C+ Melody Time: C Ichabod and Mr. Toad: B+ Cinderella: A- Alice in Wonderland: A- Peter Pan: A Lady and the Tramp: C Sleeping Beauty: A 101 Dalmatians: A The Sword in the Stone: B- The Jungle Book: A- The Aristocats: C+ Robin Hood: B The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: B The Rescuers: C- The Fox and the Hound: B The Black Cauldron: B+ The Great Mouse Detective: C Oliver & Company: B- The Little Mermaid: A- The Rescuers Down Under: C Beauty and the Beast: A+ Aladdin: B The Lion King: A+ Pocahontas: C The Hunchback of Notre Dame: A- Hercules: D Mulan: C+ Tarzan: B Fantasia 2000: A- Dinosaur: D- The Emperor's New Groove: D Atlantis: C Lilo & Stitch: A Treasure Planet: D+ Brother Bear: A- Home on the Range: C+ Chicken Little: F Meet the Robinsons: B- Bolt: A The Princess and the Frog: A I kind of combined my personal opinions with the Universal opinions as well as how succesful they were (but they're mostly my opinion). Normally, I don't give an A+ grade to a film. I gave Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King an A+ each because these films went beyond the effort that they needed to fulfill what was credited to them. I'd really like to see Trey's and Bab's grades on these as well and see how they compare to mine. I know Trey has seen them all, and bab told me he hasn't, but I hope he does his best. Good idea Belchic. In PMs, he and I were inspired to give letter grades much like Aqualung does in his game reviews. Belchic just gave his, so here's mine: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves: A+ Pinocchio: C Fantasia: A- Dumbo: B Bambi: B+ Saludos Amigos: C The Three Caballeros: D+ Make Mine Music: B- Fun and Fancy Free: C+ Melody Time: C The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad: B+ Cinderella: A Alice in Wonderland: A- Peter Pan: A Lady and the Tramp: A Sleeping Beauty: A- 101 Dalmatians: A The Sword in the Stone: C- The Jungle Book: C+ The Aristocats: D- Robin Hood: C+ The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: B The Rescuers: C- The Fox and the Hound: C The Black Cauldron: F The Great Mouse Detective: C Oliver & Company: B- The Little Mermaid: A- The Rescuers Down Under: C Beauty and the Beast: A+ Aladdin: A The Lion King: A+ Pocahontas: D+ The Hunchback of Notre Dame: C Hercules: D Mulan: B Fantasia 2000: B Tarzan: B+ Dinosaur: D- The Emperor's New Groove: D Atlantis: the Lost Empire: C Lilo & Stitch: A Treasure Planet: D+ Brother Bear: B- Home on the Range: C Chicken Little: D- Meet the Robinsons: B- Bolt: A The Princess and the Frog: A- And I'll update once there are others. Like him, the highest I will go is A. And I give an A+ to those three because I felt they went above and beyond the call of duty to achieve their success.

I do understand there are some board members here that may not understand the American school grading scale, so for their sake I'll explain the letter grades and what they mean in my opinion of the Disney Animated Classics: A+ = Must-See A = Outstanding A- = Excellent B+ = Great B = Very Good B- = Pretty Good C+ = Above Average C = Decent C- = Mediocre D+ = Poor D = Bad D- = Terrible F = Fail That should help.

Looks like an interesting grading list, Trey. X3
Though...What's happened to, E? O.o Isn't that a grade as well?

Yeah, cause by all accounts, if I understand the whole American grading system thing, there should be an E between D and F It's still rather confusing for me O.o

That's actually been confusing people for many many years why there isn't an E grade. I think there used to be an E grade, but they changed it to F because it sounded a lot more powerful, menacing, strict, you get the idea.

No, it's just my guess. --- @trey: I'm glad you cleared things up because I didn't even think about the people who aren't familiar with the American school grading system. So to make things easier, this is what I meant on my list: A+ = Must-SeeSnow White Beauty and the Beast Lion King A = OutstandingPeter Pan Sleeping Beauty 101 Dalmatians Lilo and Stitch Bolt Princess and the Frog A- = ExcellentFantasia Cinderella Alice in Wonderland Jungle Book Little Mermaid Hunchback of Notre Dame Fantasia 2000 Brother Bear B+ = GreatPinocchio Ichabod and Mr. Toad Black Cauldron B = Very GoodDumbo Make Mine Music Robin Hood Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Fox and the Hound Aladdin Tarzan B- = Pretty GoodBambi Sword in the Stone Oliver and Company Meet the Robinsons C+ = Above AverageFun and Fancy Free Aristocats Mulan Home on the Range C = DecentThree Caballeros Melody Time Lady and the Tramp Great Mouse Detective Rescures Down Under Pocahontas Atlantis C- = MediocreThe Rescuers D+ = PoorTreasure Planet D = BadSaludos Amigos Hercules Emperor's New Groove D- = TerribleDinosaur F = FailChicken Little One question: How can "bad" be considered worse than "poor"? I thought it was the other way around.

I've paid some close attention to the Universal Opinion on all these movies, and I've discovered that there are some in this library that you're not allowed to hate, and there are some that you're not allowed to like. Don't believe me? Well, this is all my estimates, but I could be wrong:
The Disney Animated Features that you are not allowed to hate are: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Pinocchio Bambi Cinderella Peter Pan Lady and the Tramp Sleeping Beauty The Little Mermaid Beauty and the Beast Aladdin The Lion King Tarzan The Princess and the Frog Tangled Frozen
Now, these are the ones that you're not allowed to like: The Three Cabelleros The Sword in the Stone The Aristocats The Black Cauldron Oliver & Company Dinosaur Atlantis: The Lost Empire Treasure Planet Home on the Range Chicken Little Meet the Robinsons
All the ones that I didn't mention, are the ones that you're welcome to have any opinions on. The ones not listed that have a lot of fans are considered gems, and the ones that don't have so many fans are the more criminally ignored ones. Do I have any arguments?

Trey, I know this may probably disgust you, but just recently, "The Black Cauldron" was released as a 25th Anniversary DVD. Of course, I have my own copy of it now.

I am aware that it got a 25th anniversary release. If you like the movie, that's perfectly fine. Little known fact was originally The Black Cauldron was to be the start of a darker and edgier Disney. But, at the last minute, the executives interfered--they changed their minds and now it was to be a family-appropriate film for everyone.

I was doing some research on, Black Cauldron a few days ago.
Believe it or not, that is actually a Prequal to the, Narnia series. o.o At least, so I hear. X3
Wonder what other facts we can learn on these Disney Films. X3

Another little fact is people tend to say the last movie that Disney worked on was The Jungle Book (1967). In truth, although his involvement was minimal, but it was there, the last film Disney worked on before he died was The Aristocats (1970).

Wasn't Walts, Contributation into that film being that he just simply approved it? I believe you claimed that's the most he did for the Film. o.o
Wonder if his...taking...was one of the reasons, AC was one of the weaker Disney Films? o.o
Let's see what other Disney Media we can think of? =3 How about we try finding the hidden Mickeys? X3
