Hey guys. I know they might be trying to make the new show different from the original series and the Looney Tunes of the past, and I think I would be okay with that. I will say this though:
It kinda seems they are exiling Pepe Le Pew from future Looney Tunes productions, he's not going to appear in Space Jam: A New Legacy.

I heard this news too. Apparently the reason being that he is a French racial stereotype. I guess this means we could kiss Fifi goodbye when this reboot comes around. :’(

It had more to do with SJW crap. Some people just don't know what a joke is and complain.
The Administrator of the TTA/L Fan Club on Facebook says this:
I’m only guessing at the moment but I think they will filter out alot of the secondary characters. I think personally it would be best for them to keep Shirley and Fifi but only time will tell.
I do think it would be for the best they do, otherwise Babs is going to be surrounded by men and someone's going to notice that.
It didn't work for Terminator, it didn't work for Charlie's Angels, it won't work here.

Very good point. Plus, Plucky and Hampton need girlfriends too.

Hey guys. So... I have... some news. You'll think this is... interesting. Might want to pull up a chair...
Do you know how on the original show, whenever Buster and Babs would introduce themselves, they would always follow up with "No relation!"? Well, in a move that Tom Ruegger is repulsed about, they are doing away with that. More than just one way.
This new series is meant to be a remake instead of a continuation and I don't think this will deter me from enjoying the show, but...
It will be for the best that it is not a continuation.
On this new series, Babs is no longer going to be Buster's girlfriend. She is now going to be his long-lost twin sister.
I'll let that sink in for a moment...

On the up side?
Well, it's been confirmed that beyond Elmyra, everyone is slated to return.
This means yes, Fifi La Fume is returning!!

No, Trey_Vore. I mean, where did you hear that Fifi was returning? Because I still believe she's not.

Also on Wikipedia under "List of Tiny Toon Adventures characters" under Fifi's description it says: "Fifi will return in the reboot Tiny Toons Looniversity." They say "everyone down to Arnold the Pitbull." The only character not returning is Elmyra.

Hmm. I did click on the image, and it shows a pretty wide variety of all the characters we know and love from the show including Fifi. They also seem to have some updated looks yet still sticking to their classic animated styles. However, upon closer examination, I can see that Elmyra is actually shown in the image below, albeit furthest into the background. I guess looks may be deceiving here. Also, if Wikipedia says Fifi will return, remember that ANYONE can edit on Wikipedia. Even if an official source confirms this, it is still subject to change. I mean, the creators of "101 Dalmatian Street" confirmed that the show was going to get a second season, but that never happened.
Though regardless of whether this is all real or not, one thing is for certain is we are NOT getting all the original voice actors back to reprise their roles. The article did confirm that Ashleigh Crystal Hairston will be voicing Babs Bunny in this series rather than Tress MacNielle, so with that in mind, I assume the rest of the cast will be different too. I welcome the idea of new talent, just as long as they could properly do justice to all their respective characters and not screw them up into mockeries like they did with Huey, Dewey and Louie in the DuckTales reboot or Chip and Dale in the Rescue Rangers movie.

If I must be honest here, I don't think Fifi is going to be in this reboot at all. The reason why I think that is because like Trey said earlier, they are not bringing Elmyra back (despite being one of the show's most popular characters) because of all the disputes over Elmer Fudd. Pepe Le Pew has stirred up similar disputes, so it is very likely that means Fifi will not be coming back either. I know Fifi has appeared in concept art for this reboot (as we've just recently seen), but like I said, Elmyra has too, and since it's already been confirmed that Elmyra's not coming back, Fifi may not be either. Though like Trey_Vore said, the show does need some more female protagonists other than Babs to give the show more balance and diversity. We do still have Shirley the Loon and Sweetie amongst those, but it would make sense for Babs to have two friends since Buster has Plucky and Hampton as his friends, so that makes it all the wiser to keep Fifi. On the other hand, if they decide not to use Fifi, this could be all the more reason to create brand new characters for this reboot. That's a trend I have noticed that's been happening a lot lately in reboots. Like for example, the Muppet Babies reboot introduced us to Summer the Penguin, a new character made exclusively for that series (most likely to balance out the girls in the main cast more). I have a feeling the creators of this Tiny Toons reboot are probably going to lean more in that direction. Anyway, those are my thoughts. You guys can counter-argue with me all you want, but whatever they decide to do with Fifi is their decision, and not ours, unfortunately.

Here's a hint: "Pessimism will get you nowhere" Okay, first of all, what does searching for a reptile have to do with any of this? Second, I’m just stating my beliefs is all. Like you said, Elmyra will not be returning despite her being in the concept art. Also, I noticed a trend lately with reboots introducing new characters in favor of old ones. For example, DC League of Super Pets: Wonder Woman’s pet was originally Jumpa the Kanga in the comics, but in this movie, Jumpa has been replaced with PB Pig. Also, Pepe Le Pew has been gathering similar controversies to Elmer Fudd’s lately. Doing all that math, I think there’s a very strong chance we will not be getting Fifi at all. She’ll most likely get replaced with a new character who would act as a counterpart to Petunia Pig, which if you think about it would make a more logical girlfriend for Hampton. See what I mean?
