We've got 88 pages (at time of posting) of stupid questions but now how about some "smart" ones. In essence, this is pretty much random trivia but with Wikipedia and other internet sources it should be easy to look up answers. We'll do it in the same one question, one answer format "stupid questions" uses. Since there are "right" answers in this one, if someones answer is actually incorrect we'll just correct it somewhere down the line. Here's an example.
1st post example... Q: What was the speed the bus in the movie "Speed" had to stay above to avoid blowing up?
Next poster...
A: 50 miles per hour
Q: What is the capital of Denmark?
Next poster... A: Copenhagen
etc, etc.
Alright here we go with the first question...

Trying to keep this alive
A: I couldn't find the answer to this one. I found that he had no idea what Mamma Mia! was about when he signed on (he basically wanted to do a movie with Meryl Streep). Given the content of Mamma Mia! I'd just guess and say sing. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
Q: Debunking a joke on Family Guy, who was Benjamin Disraeli?

A. Slyvester Stallone. The reason they changed him was because that he wanted the film to be more action packed than the budget could afford. At least so i've read.
Q. Which 1962 movie connects these three things: Pink Panther, Dad's Army & Doctor Who?
|
|
|
Post by RaceFanX on Feb 21, 2010 0:20:06 GMT -5
A: The 1962 film "The Fast Lady" featured Martin Miller, who played Pierre Luigi the Photographer in the original "Pink Panther," Clive Dunn, who played Jack Jones on "Dad's Army," and an uncredited Bernard Cribbins who plays Wilfred Mott on "Doctor Who." Not sure if that was the one you were going for but Miller also appeared on the old "Doctor Who" so that has for 33% than what was intended or something.
Okay now let's go with one a little easier...
Q: What NBA legend had the nickname "The Hick from French Lick" and briefly drove a garbage truck before making it to the NBA?

(Wow, you figured one out? Cool =3 I would have also accepted "The Wrong Arm Of The Law" which features; Peter Sallis (Inspector Clueso in Pink Panther), John le Mesurier (Sergeant Wilson in "Dads Army") and Bernard Cribbins (In the role you mentioned) But your answer works too ;3)
