I would like to add in a movie. Scott Pigrlin vs. The World. If you're a fan of the old school classics....video games that is, then you'll love the video game references in the movie. I mean, take how Scott defeats each of the evil exes.....he gets money from them....and to add to the laughs, the first evil ex, MATHEW PATTEL!!!!! *ahem* sorry....anyway, he drops little loose change....which isn't even enough for the bus ride home And you will most likely love the final fight Scott has....but I'm not going to reveal it for those who haven't seen the movie already. However, I will say that the movie does also have some unique takes on various things, like some cartoon sketches added in now and then, writting clearly seen, etc, etc XD

Usually over here, I believe movies only remain for a set amount of time before leaving the cinemas. But I think Prince of Persia was one that didn't stay in for very long....either that, or time just flew on by and I missed it in the cinemas.
Well regardless, gonna be getting Scott Pilgrim vs. The World on DVD when it comes out.

I never got to see Scott Pilgrim believe it or not. I am probably the only one in the world who works at a fricken movie theater for crying out loud and still hasn't seen Scott Pilgrim.

I LOVED that movie!!!! It was so odd, and yet so brilliant!! I've never quite seen a film done in that style, so it was a real treat!

After making numerous promises to myself, I never got to see Scott Pilgrim. And I probably won't, until the DVD comes out in like, December or something.

Despite lots of hype and even a midnight opening Scott Pilgrim actually tanked here in the USA. I assume it will eventually become a cult hit, some films have to wait for video (Austin Powers) or ever TV reruns (Road House) to find their audience.

I don't know if Scott Pilgrim will even manage to even make a DVD release. Since it bombed so big that it was pulled from theaters in less than a month, I don't see it making a DVD release anytime soon. I mean, if you guys remember, "The Black Cauldron" was such a big bomb that it was pulled from theaters only two weeks after it's premeire, and it never received a video release until 13 years later!

On the contrary Belchic, I've seen many movies that were not released in the theatres, already making their way onto DVD. Can't think of any off the top of my mind. But I would still imagine that Scott Pilgrim would make it onto DVD regardless.
I mean, The Black Cauldron was quiet some time ago as it is....and rules and the likes usually change. So I guess we shall have to wait and see XD

Quite the contrary my friend. It's just about a month before the actual DVD release. 2 weeks? Wow for my theater the movie had to be there for at least 2-3 months. www.amazon.com/Scott-Pilgrim-World-Michael-Cera/dp/B0041T52S6/ref=sr_1_2?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1286265920&sr=1-2

So no bombing here, Bel ol' boy.

Doesn't Bombing have to do with not making as much money as it should of not rating?
