I think, Race is correct, that the Budgt is about Thirty Million, and it seems the Box Office claims that it is making about that much about the World, too!
So, considering that it has made doubl its Budgt, I am sure that there shall be some type of Sequel, possible a D V D one, or some thing similar, Eh?

Okay, so after seeing the season finale...
I must say it was a pretty awesome finale, but it could have been better.
First of all, it was great to see all the Mane 6’s legendary idols in the flesh. It was also cool to see each one possess their own elements, but unlike the Elements of Harmony, they were just called “Elements”. Really? Talk about a lack of creativity.
There was also a brief mention of sea ponies. Something tells me that was a slap in the face to the Bronies who were demanding to see them.
We also get to see the Dazzlings in their syren forms.
As for the villain, much like King Sombra, he was a letdown, but at least his backstory was more clear. Though I wasn’t sold on his name. The Pony of Shadows? Is that really the best name they could come up with?
Also, just like the Season 6 finale, there were no songs in the episode, and it’s ending was a bit anti-climactic, but at least it felt worthy of being a season finale.
So that’s the end of the season. The Equestria Girls series will begin on November 17, and Season 8 of MLP is on the way. We don’t have much info about the next season yet. I assume it’s going to begin the day before Easter next year, and I heard somewhere that Lord Tirek is going to be returning! Maybe we will be seeing Scorpan this season too!

Well, guys, I got some sad news to report. It looks like FIM is going to be ending sooner than we think! A lot of rumors have been going around saying that the series will be ending its production after Season 8, but I think that may be true. Hasbro has already confirmed that they are working on G5, and they’ve also confirmed some of the new changes that we may be seeing in the G5 series. First of all, this upcoming series is going to be getting a TV-Y7 rating. They say they are trying to make this series appeal more to the teen/young adult demographic. They also revealed that the Mane 6 we all know and love from G4 will be returning, except some of them will be changing their species! Fluttershy is now going to be a unicorn, Pinkie Pie is going to be a Pegasus, and Twilight Sparkle is going to be an earth pony! Also, there is a chance these six are not going to be the main characters in the G5 series, but they will be in the series nonetheless. According to Hasbro’s plan, the G5 series is scheduled to be released in 2020 at the earliest. Here is my source of information: youtu.be/TLm2kLxta1s

Uh, hasn't it always been TV-Y7? If it had been TV-Y7 FV, then yeah, I would understand that even if it was TV-14 or TV MA, then I would understand that more, but TV-Y7 isn't all that for Teens and Young Adults.
I do like the idea that they want to change the characters up a bit, but I'll stick with G4 for now.

I haven't looked into it much, because you know SOMEONE STOLE IT, but some information from the leak supposedly implied that while the end is approaching they are still looking to do a Season 8 and then end with a Season 9 and a second movie. Given how much information floating around is from that leak I wouldn't look too much into it.
Granted it likely is time to refresh things a bit and a G5 has to be on the horizon. The G4 ponies have already beaten all odds to get this far, their series is the longest running in Hasbro history but while they helped define the 2010s in animation they are getting up there in the years. It is time to refresh things a big and going from G4 to G5 is better option than most when it comes to refreshing the lineup (see what happened in 1986's Transformers: The Movie where they didn't reset the timeline when changing all the characters so all the beloved earlier ones got killed off instead).

I think we should wait for a fll confirmation from Hasbro, about Gen Five!
While I do admit, cause of how long Friendship Is Magic has been on, it does feel part of the reason that Starlight became Twilight’s Apprentice, is so they be able to have some one learn Friendship lessons, that does also offer some development for Twilight, learning to become the mentor figure, Eh?
If the Gen Five Images are an actual Gen Five, I do wonder what they shall have it be like? Shall Gen Five be a reboo, with more focus on Adventure, or more a case of; “Gen Four, Ten Years Later”? What do you think, Pups?

I have check the Video; Though, I need to check if it is the actua Opening to the coming Season.
If so; It does impl that the Mne Six shall be setting up some type of Friendship School, Which would seem like an intriguing idea to try! I notice that means, we shall also see more Equestria Species, such as Griffins or, what I assume to be, Sea Pony from the Film, so that shall also be intriguing to see, too!
It makes me wonder, if they shall address what happens in the Film, too?
What you think of the opening, Pups?

It might be for the best if they choose to make a new show. It's had a very long run and for a cartoon about toys it's certainly run it's course.
One more thing I'm going to call to you guys' attention is on February 26th Death Battle is going to have a new grudge match with another Pony. The first one had Rainbow Dash against Starscream, the second was likely a joke battle with Pinkie Pie against Deadpool and the third one?
They are going to have Twilight Sparkle and her opponent is Teen Titans' Raven.

Just got news updates here!
Season 8 will debut on March 24, which is the weekend before Easter. Usually, the season begins the day before Easter, but I guess they decided to start it early this year. So for those of you still watching the show, mark your calendars.
In the meantime, just to tide you over, this Saturday, an hour-long Equestria Girls special will be airing on Discovery Family, so I’ll be setting my DVR for that as well.
Another thing I want to announce: It has officially been confirmed that Season 9 will officially be the final season of Friendship is Magic, which means G5 will be starting up the following year. Well, the show did have a great long run, but I’ll try my best to enjoy these last 52 episodes while they last. :’(

May I ask, what is your Source about Season Nine, Belchic? I don' mean Speculatio Pages; has Hasbr actuall made an Officil statemnt about Season Nine?
Have you seen those Half Hour Equestria Grls Specials, too? I know there is one Episode, which Sunst Shimmer works with Starlight Glimmr, and there is an amusing Scene, with Sunst trying to use her Pony body, again.
What I know about Season Eight is that, Twilight shall set up a Friendship School, which is what I assume the Video, which Belchic show, is about.
I hear we shall even meet Starlight's Parents, in Season Eight, too, Eh?
Do you also think they shall refer to the Film, in Season Eight, too, Pups?

A lot of spoilers have already been leaked out about Season 8.
Well, since bab already leaked out some here, I might as well announce this one, which is going to be a major turning point in the series...Spike is getting WINGS! This is no rumor; it’s been confirmed! A friend of mine already saw the episode and told me it’s for real.
