Like I just told Trey: I don’t necessarily watch Krampus. It just happens to be in my collection. My parents love it since they both love horror movies, but I personally find Krampus to be depressing. Although, I’m surprised you don’t like holiday movies or specials, Chive. That’s really what Christmas is all about! Moreso than presents even! Yeah, I guess I'm just not a huge Christmas fan. =P I like Christmas stories that aren't the usual stuff. Too many Christmas specials for TV shows are just parodies of major Christmas movies. And too many Christmas movies have the same sort of plot about a kid who doesn't believe in Santa then finds out Santa is real blah blah. =P That's why Home Alone and It's A Wonderful Life are my main picks because they're high quality and not your typical Christmas stories.

I understand that. I’m sick of that cliche too. As well as the whole, “Santa has a problem and someone else saves Christmas” cliche and the parodies on “A Christmas Carol”, and of course every single Hallmark movie ever made! That’s probably why “The Star” is my favorite because it’s a more fresh idea, and is about what Christmas is really about (which only the right audience would know).

I agree with Belchic! “Muppets Christmas Carol” is definitely up on there as one of the best adaptations of “A Christmas Carol”, and definitely one of my top Christmas films!
In fact, a week ago, I went to London to see the film in concert at the Royal Albert Hall, where they screen the film, but remove the backing soundtrack from the Film and have a Live Orchestra play it! It was SO GOOD!
So, have you just watched “Muppets Christmas Carol” for the first time this year, or something, Trey!?

Yes, I can explain.
I did see a lot of advertisements for it back in 1992, but I never truly saw the movie until recently.
And yes, I do like it, also being a fitting tribute to Jim Henson, who died shortly before this movie.

That the one with Kurt Russell as Santa?
I admit, there is one Christmas film I need to watch, but I hear A LOT of good things about, which is “Klause”.
When you say Rudolph I & II, what do you mean by the second one, Shawn? You referring to Rudolph’s New Year, or the CGI one?
