Unless your computer is running abnormally, ignore those messages...
Don't click [cancel] just, click the red [x] and be done with it... A lot of times, those can be linked to other sites/files and cause more problems...
But, to be safe, double check error messages and numbers through Google... See if they're worth your concern

Thanks for the advice, Oddy. I turned on my computer this morning and got that message again. I may need to do a system restore if I want that to stop happening, but my computer seems to be operating normally at the moment.

Double check it online, but if it's running normally, I'd say you're fine to let it slide for now

Okay, here's the thing. Every single time I start up my computer since nearly two weeks ago, I've been getting a RunDLL error message popping up. Well, now I'm getting two RunDLL error messages. I took Oddy's advice and did a Google search on this error, and it is apparently a common problem with computers like mine. I found a good website that tells me how to fix this problem so I don't get that annoying messages anymore, but I'm not going to try anything yet until I get a professional to look at it. I could risk corrupting my entire system if I try it myself. Of course, my computer isn't malfunctioning in any way like the site says usually happens, so I should be fine for now.

I've got some sad news to tell you guys.
Last weekend, my family got a new printer. My dad successfully got my computer hooked up to the printer, but ever since he returned my computer to my room, I have been getting an extremely weak Internet signal to our wireless. I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden, but some of the websites I'm visiting are either running very slow or not loading at all. The site that's giving me the most problems is YouTube; it's taking longer than forever to load a page or a video! This may have something to do with those RunDLL errors I've been getting every time I start my computer. I'm hoping to get somebody to look at it so it won't be so slow anymore.

Another thing I should add is that starting this afternoon, it's been disconnecting all by itself a lot. Usually, my Internet signal stays at the maximum of five bars, but now, it is down at two and one bar! And it doesn't go any higher than three, but it only stays at three for a few second and then drops back down to one or two. If only there was a solution to this.

Hmm, Have you contacted your Internet Provider, usually that may help.
It could be your Modem is old? How long have you had it? Perhaps you need a new one?
Do you know the number to contact your Service Provider?

Not sure if anyone said this but is the computer located close to the router?? Internet connections can sometimes be pretty slow if the computer is further away from the router.

These issues I'm having with my computer are just getting worse and worse. Now, a majority of the time when I try to open Internet Explorer, I get something that pops up, but the page just doesn't load. It just doesn't. Part of the reason why is because of my connection to the wireless. As I've said before, ever since we got our new printer installed, my wireless signal has been very weak, but now, things have gotten worse. Now, my computer is having trouble staying connected to the wireless period. Sometimes, it manages to connect, but after a few seconds, it disconnects again. I'm going to tell my dad about this as soon as possible, but he's rarely ever home these days because of his new job. I know that my next door neighbor is a computer expert, so maybe I'll have him take a look at it. I'm not going to do anything to it now because I currently have a virus scan running at the moment plus a hardware scan.
I think you may be right, bab. Your laptop issues may have been causing other people's laptops to malfunction as well. First yours, then Shadow's, and now mine!
I am literally in Hell right now! Not only because of my computer, but I am also fearing that I'm going to get laid off at work and find out that I failed one of my classes at my last semester at school! What am I going to do?

Well, now my computer has hit rock bottom. It just will not connect to the Internet at all. Of all the times for my dad to be out on a convention, why did it have to be today?

Just letting you guys know that I'm thinking of leaving this forum. The reason why is because I feel that I cause too much drama around here, as evidenced by the last few posts I made this afternoon. I'm probably at risk right now and probably have two strikes already because of all my actions. I should take a break from this board in the meantime so I can calm down. If I do officially leave, I doubt anyone would care; I'm probably better off banned anyway.

You're leaving? Don't go just yet, I joined this month (and officially today). It's sad to see a senior member go... you're a senior member so that means you've been through a lot of challenges, like this your having. If you do leave, then, goodbye and have a nice life...

They'd tell you if you have strikes. If they haven't, you don't. Don't pull a Richard Nixon.

Sorry, 101, but if I continue my actions, I don't get a choice. I will be banned.
@race: I already have 1 strike. Nemo told me. I'm still considering leaving, because I think you guys might be better off without me, yet I have no idea what Nixon has to do with any of this.
