The audience let out an "aawww" after hearing Penny apologizing for sticking to her original choice of shafting Freckles and seeing her hug him.
"Now, usually, after someone is chosen to be shafted and they finished their say to the contestant shafting them," Pasquale said to the contestants, "it would be my job to ask the shafter if they would like to either stick to their original choice or change their mind. But after all that, Penny, I see that you're deciding to stick to your original choice and shaft Freckles, yes?"

"I'm sorry, Freckles," said Pasquale. "You're off the show."
The show's logo then flashed, and Freckles was gone.
"We are now down to four contestants," said Pasquale. "Penny, Pepper, Melanie, and Raine. That means a series of four questions will be asked. We'll start each of you off with the amount of money that the contestant in the lead had at the end of the previous round. Penny ended that round as the leader with $45,000, so that's the amount we'll start each of you off in this round."
The amount of $45,000 is now displayed on the monitor at the front of each remaining contestant's podium.
"Also, in this round," Pasquale said to the contestants, "each of you will be given an option to shift a question to one of your opponents. If you shift a question to another contestant, and they get it wrong, your wager is deducted from their total. However, if you shift a question to another contestant, and they get it right, your wager is deducted from your total and added to their total. Remember, you each get only one shift option, so use it wisely. Let's play Shafted."
A music cue was played while the lights on the set lit up in a specific symmetrical pattern.
"Which song by the Beatles...?" Pasquale read from a card as the same words appear for the home viewers. "Which song by the Beatles...? Lock in your wagers."

"We've got big wagers here," Pasquale said after seeing the contestants' wagers. "Raine and Pepper each has wagered $10,000, Melanie has wagered $15,000, and Penny has wagered $20,000. Penny, you have the highest wager, so you'll have the option to answer or shift this question."
The rest of the question appears for the home viewers as Pasquale reads the entire question from his card.
"Which song by the Beatles was initially banned from broadcast by the BBC due to supposed drug references?" he asked.
