Sounds like it's doing pretty good, but I'll still pass.
I think I decided I'm going to go see Big Hero 6 anyway. To be honest, the trailers don't at all make me think of Marvel, so it may have a chance, but I won't expect it to be better than Frozen or Wreck-It Ralph.
Anyone else have thoughts on the 2015 Animated films?

I hear Disney are trying an Animated Short, before Big Hero Six called; Feast. I hear that there may be some Homages to; "101 Dalmatians" in it too! ;3
You hear on this, Pups? o.o

I thought it was going to be the Frozen short.
What is Feast about?
A 101D reference, huh? By this, do you mean something like the one from Day & Night something so deep that only an absolutely true hardcore fan would think its a reference? I think that would sound more like obsession than it would a reference, bab.

I know the; "101 Dalmatians" Homage in; Night And Day is an Intentional one, Belchic.
Feast is about someone's relationship, as seen in the eyes of his Canine. The one working on the Short, at least, claims you need to watch; "101 Dalmatians", when working on it.
And, considering Pongo helps Roger's Relationship with Anita, you can see a nod there, can't you?
So, chances are that Disney would make some Homages to their Canine Cases, correct?

Well I did see AniMat's review of The Book of Life. He said:
The Story: 8/10 The Animation: 9/10 The Characters: 8/10
The Book of Life (2014): 8/10 - Great!
He does say it was made by Reel FX, but it was directed by Guillermo Del Toro, the man behind Megamind, Puss in Boots, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Rise of the Guardians.
He then says "Oh so THAT'S why Free Birds sucked!"

Okay right now we just got Big Hero 6, the 54th entry in the Disney Animated canon.
Right now it looks like it's doing great on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a score of 91%. And they gave it a "Certified Fresh" label.

I'm going to see it in a few hours with my friends, and I am extremely excited to see what it has to offer. The recent RT rating is giving me a very good vibe.

The Trailers do seem a bit awkward, but I can check it. I know there's the Feast Short before it, what you think that be like?

I got back from it a little while ago, and I must say that I really enjoyed it! It's definitely one of Disney's darker pictures in terms of content (trying not to spoil anything), but the core cast works really well off of one another and it has plenty of heart behind it. The trailers don't give any insight to the depth that this movie has at all.
The story was solid, the animation was phenomenal, and I felt as if they did a great job considering the source they had to work from. I'd definitely recommend seeing it.

"Feast" was absolutely adorable and very funny! It was really neat especially to see how the story evolved through the course of the short, as most of the time the dialogue between the human characters is pretty much inaudible.

I just so happened to see Big Hero 6 last night.
It was a really nice piece of work! I have to say the characterization in the trailers (especially on Baymax) doesn't do the film justice.
Cinemascore movies gave this film an A, and I think that's the score I will give it-- an A!

Trey_Vore: I kinda had a feeling you'd find it awesome. It seems like a movie that's right up your alley. I'm gonna go see it since I'm hearing rave reviews about it, and it is one of the Disney Animated Features after all.

As further incentive, I did see AniMat's review and he said: The Story: 8/10 The Animation: 10/10 The Characters: 8/10 Big Hero 6 (2014): 9/10 - Excellent! Bad news is, after Wreck-It Ralph and Frozen it looks like Disney won't be doing a threepeat for the top on his Best Animated Films list, because The Wind Rises and How to Train Your Dragon 2 seemed to score higher. Good news is, it's the third animated film this year to get his Seal of Approval!

This year seems to be doing Okay for Animation! ;3 You think the reaction of 2013 seem to wake the Studios, a bit.
But I do wonder about the Pixar Dinosaur, that has a bit of a delay, with 2014 to it being a 2015, Correct?
