I heard Robin Williams was either Tin Man or Scarecrow.
Could you post a link to that trailer here, Shawn?

Any one else think "The Nut Job" looks awful? From the trailers it actually reminds me a lot of Free Birds, similar animation included.

You know it really frustrates me when people have to judge a book by its cover. It's like when something is about to come out that looks the slightest bit silly, they always have to say, "It looks awful, it's going to suck, I'm not gonna bother, no way, no how!" I personally think "The Nut Job" looks cute, but I'm going to wait and see if someone else who saw it liked it first, because it may be embarrassing to waste my money on a ticket for it.

Nothing wrong with a little disagreement.
The idea of a PG-rated heist film is interesting. I love the adult "Italian Job" the title sort of spoofs and the dog character looks cool but as said most of my expectations aren't much.

Just seen the Trailers for Oz and Nut Job.
I admit; I’m not really feeling too sure about these ones. Whilst, Oz does seem to have a lot of well known names in it; inclueding Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Martin Short and Brian Blessed, although the jokes and lines in the Trailer do make me feel awkward…mind you, this could be the case where the Trailer shows only the bad things and the film could be really dog.
I feel that Nut Job looks like if ‘Ovr The Hedge’ goes itself mixed up with ‘Ratatouille’, heck! The apparent Sidekick looks like a Captain Ersatz of Remie from that film! The factor it’s coming in January and I’ve only just heard of it doesn’t help matters for it either, does it?

I've heard about The Nut Job since the summer, mostly because Will Arnett is playing the lead squirrel. It looks like nothing more than a poor man's Over the Hedge to me, although I can see where you'd get the Ratatouille elements from, Bab. It just...doesn't look good at all.
I don't know much about the Oz movie other than the fact that Lea Michele is Dorothy. I haven't seen a trailer for it yet.

Hello, pups. I just came back from seeing Frozen, and I admit, it WAS a GREAT film. If some ads for it haven't shown some things then let enlighten a bit. It's a full-on Disney animated musical, and the songs are QUITE marvelous, (even the one sung by Olaf the snowman, who's essentially the comical mischief or comedic character). Some songs even had that essence that showed it could even be done onstage. Disney animation studios CERTAINLY hasn't lost it's touch over the past decade despite this flood, or should I say, Blizzard , of Disney-Pixar or live action Disney films. Turns out, frozen, like Ponyo and Little Mermaid is based on a Hans Christian Andersen tale, but of a different name. "Snow Queen". I LOVED the film, and I hope Disney continues to make such beauties, on their own. <3

Btw, Paws, here's something I learned about the Nut Job via IMDB. Comedians Gabriel Iglesias and Jeff Dunham, (or Je-fuh-fuh Dun-Ham ), are in it. A thing via the theater trailers I learned about the Upcoming Oz film, just by hearing a character's voice, is Martin Short, (who played Jack Frost in the 3rd Tim Allen "Santa Clause" film), is playing a Jester.

I mentioned that earliar for Martin Short too, he also played "Undiscovered Genius"; Lars in "101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure"! ;3
A Ghostbuster is Scarecrow, Fraiser is Tin Man (although, didn't hear any dialogue from him in the trailer) and that; "According To Jim" one as the Cowardly.
What does IMDB say on Nut Job?

It says Jeff is the Mole. Idk which character Gabe plays, but in regards to Frozen. I'd suggest it to anyo e who loves the Disney animated musicals.
In stage news speaking of Disney, apparently Disney Broadway is preparing to do Aladdin.

Well, if Paws disapproves of The Nut Job, then I guess I'll pass on it for now...wait for the DVD, then I'll rent it on Netflix.

May I question why Nut Job wasn't on the original 2014 List? I check and Disney don't seem to have many Animated Films this year, do they?

I can see y Nut Job isn't one of the top films. Imo, it's just a 'heist' film but essentially based around jokes/puns with the word nut. As for Disney's lack of films, it's most likely bcuz of the hard work they put into Frozen.
