"Well, for my answer," Veronica started to say before getting interrupted by her stomach grumbling. "That was my stomach. Sorry. Well, for my answer, I said what country roosters do to make the sun rise...which, of course, is SINGING."

"WE GOT A MATCH!" Flo exclaimed excitedly as a "ding" sounds, a red circle lights up in front of Melanie and Veronica each, and the audience let out a large cheer and applause. "The scores at the end of round one: Melanie with one match, and Cynthia with nothing. We'll be back for round two. Stay with us!"
The audience applauded as the show's theme music played and the scene changes to the background that displays the show's logo and other graphics. The theme music then ended, and the screen fades to black.
Minutes later, the screen fades back to it's title sequence, and the theme music and the audience's applause is heard again. The scene changes to the set of the show. Once the theme music ended and the audience fell silent, Flo begins to speak.
"Welcome back to Match Game," said Flo. "Melanie has matched one panelist, and Cynthia didn't match anyone, but that can all change, for we are now going into round two."
She turned to Melanie.
"Melanie, you're in the lead, so you get to choose which question you want. A or B?"

"Let's go b." Melanie said.

"B, it is," said Flo, and she took the card from the pocket labeled with the letter "B" on the second round row of the question holder. "Melanie has matched Veronica in the previous round, so Veronica will be sitting this question out, while everyone else in the panel plays. Here's the question: The microbrewery manager said, 'This batch of organic pale ale may taste strange, because while it was brewing, a blank dropped into the vat.'"
The audience laughed at the question as the updated "Think" music cue started playing.

The panel writes down and locks in their answers.

"The panel's answers are locked in," said Flo, and she went over to Melanie. "Now, we need an answer from you, Melanie. Here's the question again: The microbrewery manager said, 'This batch of organic pale ale may taste strange, because while it was brewing, a blank dropped into the vat.'"

"Okay, oil is your answer," Flo said to Melanie as the audience applauded, and she went over to the panel. "We're looking for oil, Belchic, what do you say?"

Belchic said, "Well, I like words that rhyme...all the time. I said that a RAT fell in the vat!"

"A rat!" Flo said as the buzzer sounds and the audience cheered and applauded. "That really would make the batch of organic pale ale taste strange. Tippy?"

"Small world," said Tippy. "I also said RAT."

"Another rat!" Flo said as the buzzer sounds and the audience applauded. "I guess that answer sounds much better than oil that it must've been one of the answers that Melanie had in her head when I asked for an answer from her. Joey, did you say rat, oil, or anything else?"

"Well, I thought there might be a dog playing around," said Joey, "so I thought maybe...a TENNIS BALL fell into the vat."

"We got a tennis ball, now," Flo said as the buzzer sounds and the audience applauded. "Lizzie, what have you written down?"

"Funny that Belchic and Tippy said rat," said Lizzie, "because I like words that rhyme too, so I said CAT."
