It is.
Frankly if I were to see an entire episode I think I'd probably choose the mer-pup episode

Too childish for my liking. The pups are cute though.

Well, Like I claim, I plan to check an Episode, and see what I think. I think I have the Television Record on, either Snday, or Monday, or something, in that area. And, is the Bean Stlk Episode, the one that makes you think of me, Belchic? That's the one! Sadly, I missed today's new episode. For some reason, my DVR didn't record it. It'll be on again...but not for another TWO WEEKS!

Anyone else see the latest episode, "Pup-Fu"? I thought it was pretty awesome that for the first time ever, we got to see Foggy Bottom. Now we know where Mayor Humdinger resides...

As part of a deal with Belchic, I did give PAW Patrol a chance. I will say this:
Well it does seem what I would expect from a Nick Jr. series. It has a kids' problem-solving aspect which is like... well like something I remember seeing on a show like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Like how the problem is set in motion, all the pups head to their headquarters, two pups whose talents can best solve the problem are called to action, problem is solved. Wash, rinse, repeat.
I'm probably not the intended audience for a show like this, but I will say that unlike Pound Puppies, this show at least gets the focus right.

I did catch clips of the show myself and...yeah that is a bit boring or senseless honestly.
Someone needs our help with something, LET'S CALL THE WHOLE TEAM TOGETHER. Okay, roll call? Now, I'm gonna need 2-3 of you 6 or so pups, let's go! *problem gets solved, job well done, yadda yadda yadda*
The detail out of that I find a little stupid is...the boy informs the WHOLE team, more in a roll call fashion but only 'hires' two of the pups...not even saying what the rest of them do. Even though this is a little kids' show, you gotta wonder what the pups who DON'T get 'hired' for a job think or say to themselves after the camera focuses on something else. XD

I think Ryder brings the emergency to all the pups' attention because even though he only selects 2 or 3 pups, he wants the others to stand by in case he needs any of them for reinforcements. In a way, it's supposed to teach kids how to develop a strategy. Kinda like how on Pokemon, you can develop a strategy by knowing the strengths and weaknesses. So, Trey_Vore, after experiencing Paw Patrol and giving your honest thoughts on it, how do you think it'll rank with you. Is it good enough for you to consider it favorable? Or is it just in the "like" or "neutral" category for you.

I am too old for this show so I wouldn't say I am going to go out of my way to watch more episodes.
But I will maintain that it's a show that kids will like and benefit from.

Well, I'm not much younger than you, but that's not stopping me from watching the show. In fact, I know a lot of people around my age who are super huge fans of the show and watch it religiously. Kinda like how My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is targeted at girls, yet many boys are fans of it, PAW Patrol is targeted at young children, yet many adults are fans of it. But I won't force you to watch it if you don't want to. Whatever rocks your boat.

Well the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series is aimed at boys yet a lot of girls like it too.
Another thing I noticed was the fact they have six puppies and they all form a rainbow. Skye is the only exception because pink is clearly feminine in the West.
It does almost feel like they could probably get away with just four puppies because obviously some of their talents will be a bit more useful than others. Keep Chase, keep Marshall, keep Skye and keep Rubble too and well, you'll have all you need right there and they can all see action. It almost feels like Zuma, like Aquaman, will only be useful if he's surrounded by water and Rocky... well I don't see how recycling is meant to be a rescue job.
Notice with that you have red, yellow and blue, the primary colors. Skye is pink instead of violet so why not.
Besides parents will want to help their children with decision making processes.

Actually, Rocky gets called more for repair work than he does for recycling. He's sort of the handyman of the team.
Zuma could be a good role model for kids who want to be lifeguards or pursue a career in water sports.
Is the "colors of the rainbow" thing really that big of a deal? In some cases, pink is considerably a color of the rainbow (in between yellow and green). I will agree that they do need a purple uniformed pup. Even when they introduced Everest, her uniform was teal, which made it even more confusing. I guess Skye was pink because at the time the series started, she was the only girl, so having her wear pink only made it the most suitable. Not trying to sound stereotypical or anything; it's just a hunch.

Yesterday's new episode made me think of two things:
1. This is the fifth time so far where the episode was all a dream, and I don't understand why 4 out of those 5 times, it was Rubble who had the dream. Why don't they ever mix it up?
2. I think this episode also pointed out how useless Zuma is since he's very limited to what he can help with. Maybe this is a foreshadowing of more episodes that will feature him on the mission.

The life and times of being a water rescue pup, where other pups overshadow you.
Even though PAW Patrol can be predictable sometimes, i.e. the Mayor vs. Mayor episodes, this show can be a little repetitive sometimes, to the point that you already know what happens without watching the actual show. Predictability 100%!
1. Some citizen is in a doohickey that they could get themselves out of. 2. They call the PAW Patrol 3. The pups save the day.
It's funny, now that we're older, we can analyze the show in ways that preschoolers can't. But if I have to pick a favorite character, it would be Marshall, because Dalmatian and he's a bit like me, a bit apprehensive about stuff and a fear of flying.
