I find your lack of creativity disturbing, Disney... * kssshhhh kkkkk*
More reviving 90's properties? Can we get something new please?
On a more positive note, I am interested in this cause that was one of my childhood favorites.

That would be cool. After all, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse wasn't a conventional straight-up digitally animated Spider-Man film and that worked out great. Being the 80s junkie I am this is nice to hear. Thanks for the bit of info Lucky .

Rescue Rangers, on the other hand, is just 80’s nostalgia made to piandor (sp?) to children of that decade. Also, if you think about it, live action revamps of old cartoons usually get panned by critics and hated by audiences. I mean, the revamps of Transformers and Alvin and the Chipmunks got mixed reviews, but most others like Garfield, Yogi Bear, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Underdog and even the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog are for the most part are universally-hated by everyone. This could very well be the case for this one as well. Just saying.

With Transformers, Alvin and the Chipmunks and even the recent Pokémon: Detective Pikachu film the characters seem to blend in and people accept the digitally animated characters as possibly existing in this world we may inhabit. The rest seem to have a curse called the "imaginary friend syndrome", where the characters don't fit and people don't buy that this character fits the environment.

Lucky's right. It should be something to celebrate, not something to think negatively about. this

Does their appearance in "DuckTales!" count as a Revival, in some cases?

Does their appearance in "DuckTales!" count as a Revival, in some cases? I'd say the jury's out on this one?

Wait, so there WAS a topic for this movie all along? How could I have missed that?
Also, I still must ask: Why is everyone so excited about this movie? How do you all know it’s going to be great? What is it that makes this movie different than all the other live action revamps of old cartoons?

Okay, so an official synopsis for the “Rescue Ranger” film has been released, and…it is…more Meta than I was expecting.
“It's been years since the end of Rescue Rangers and Chip and Dale are currently living a life of mediocrity, in a world where humans and cartoon characters live together, meanwhile traditionally animated characters are doing their best to live in a world of remakes and reboots with realistic computer graphics. Now Chip and Dale must renew their partnership to try and save a friend from a fate worse than death: video piracy!”
So, it looks like it is going to be a Film that is made in the style of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”.
Speaking of which, Roger Rabbit is also set to make a Cameo in this film too, apparently!
I admit…wasn’t expecting this to be the story.
What you think of the premise, Pups!?

If you look at the poster teaser on Twitter, there's a script for a Darkwin... So, I'm guessing it's a reference that they either are working on it or Darkwing will make a Cameo Appearance.
But with Roger Rabbit, I wonder if his Cameo will be having a speaking role and if so, would the actor who played him in Who Framed Roger Rabbit be reprising his role?
