Race is correct there! The Fourth Alvin and the Chipmnks Film air on the same day as Star Wars does. And, while Star Wars makes a Billion Dollars in two weeks, Road Chip barely has a fifth of that after three months!
And, while I’m not claiming AL Modern January Films are bd, the ratio in the previou ten years has been…awkward.
Isn’ the Film, you discuss there, suppose to be about Humans to turn in to Animals, or something, Belchic?

Yeah, something like that.
Hollywood is a bit indecisive these days, isn't it?

Has anyone seen the trailer for "Sing"?
It doesn't seem like much, in some ways but...while I'm not hyped for it, I'd be willing to see it. It seems to be I think what would be called a Jukebox musical, any songs included are not original to the film or production.

I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I'll look it up.
By the way, this is old news now, but if you may remember, Jennifer Lopez did announce on American Idol that whoever wins the farewell season will get to record a song for the soundtrack for Ice Age 5. Well, it looks like that somebody is going to be Trent Harmond.

Have you guys heard about this 'Hanna-Barbara Cinematic Universe?' I just heard this week but apparently Warner Brothers wants to do animated films based on a lot of the old Hanna-Barbara shows in a shared universe style, staring with a Scooby-Doo reboot called "S.C.O.O.B." in 2018. Is this a good idea or not? Will they spend five movies setting up a "Laff-a-ympics" movie?

I'm going to see Finding Dory this weekend.
I also found out that "The Little Prince" originally scheduled for a March release has been postponed to be released in August.
Now that we are halfway through the year, here is my updated first initial thoughts on the animated films of this year, if I knew these releases from the start of the year:
Norm of the North: Yeah, right! Kung Fu Panda 3: I'm staying optimistic. Zootopia: Gotta see this one! Ratchet & Clank: Still not interested. Angry Birds: Oh, brother! Finding Dory: BRING IT ON! Secret Life of Pets: Cute. Ice Age: Collision Course: STOP, ALREADY! The Little Prince: Money's on No. Sausage Party: What the fridge is this? Kubo and the Two Strings: Awesome! The Wild Life: BLECH! Storks: Now looks less promising. Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree: Not another one! Trolls: They made a movie out of THIS? Moana: I still don't see what the hype is all about. Sing: We'll see.
EG: LOE is on IMDb now, but still no confirmed date yet. I wonder what's taking so long to get that.

I hear that the Prince Film, rather than getting Cinem, is getting a Netflx airing. That is awkward, for that one, Eh?
I've seen some Videos, of Finding Dory, and it looks good. I do wonder, though...We see a Video of a Youn Dory, and there are lines like how; "(She) likes Games" and "Sand Is Squshy". Considering, she claims she likes Games, in the Jlly Fish Field, and calls one Squshy, does that mean that some lines that may seem random of her, in Finding Nemo, are actually her trying to remember? What you think, Pups? ;3

I just got back from seeing Finding Dory! Pixar has done it again! I seriously don't know why everyone's expectations were so low about it; it far exceeded my expectations. In fact, I think it's even better than its predecessor! Hey, if Pixar can prove that a second sequel can be the Citizen Kane of animated movies, then they can have success with anything!

I will admit it. Because the reviews were that good I gave up and saw Finding Dory.
And? Well I enjoyed it. Don't hate my choice.
I was happy to see that after an outright miss like Cars 2 and a fine if completely disposable Monsters University, another Pixar movie other than Toy Story got a worthy sequel.
I am still going to say Zootopia will win Best Animated Feature but it's worth seeing.
I will give the movie a B.
Keep in mind that I gave Finding Nemo a B+.

I know we have a few more days before we get The Secret Life of Pets. But I held my hopes as I looked on Rotten Tomatoes and...
Good news guys so far the movie looks good! Right now it has a score of 82%.
I did hear about how before the movie there will be a short Minions cartoon proceeding the main feature.
Those guys at Illumination are pretty talented.

I might see Sing, I don't know for sure. But I laugh at the claim that Sing is basically Zootopia 2: The Musical or that Sing is basically Zootopia meeting American Idol. XD
