Some thing tells me, part of the reason for it is since, technically, it is a Show made by Passion Pictures, than Disney’s Main Television Animation Team, so there are probably a number of Admin type things, that happen with this type of thing. On top of how they most likely could not air the Show until all of Season One aired, and Promotion does take time to put together (Posting as some one who has made Trailers for a Theater, before). Maybe, in next Month’s Trailers! Or perhaps they simply don't care. Despite my posturing I fear Belchic was more right than anybody at the end of the day. This is another 3 Caballeros situation, where they had an original animated series based on one of their legacy titles and they simply made no effort to promote it in the United States. I don't believe they will put out a trailer for it next month. They had an opportunity to treat the series right. They chose not to. It has nothing to do with "rights", because it doesn't matter who made the cartoon. It was made for Disney. I already told you how The Amazing World Of Gumball is a Cartoon Network show despite being made by Dandelion Pictures and several other studios. But you still keep doubling down on this asinine rights issue. I made this thread. I've kept an eye on the show longer than any of you have. Disney did the show dirty. I agree. Nothing about this show feels like Disney cared. The erratic air dates, the fact that their announcement for thr show was a single Twitter Post from a voice actor, and not even one of the main cast. Someone who has only had a few lines. Looking through the episodes critically for my reviews I've also noticed technical problems with the animation like a lack of inbetweens and some really lazy duplication of characters, which I guess is the animatiom studio's fault, but Disney was willing to put their name on it, so it just seems like they didn't care.

Well, if they didn’t care, it wouldn’t be on Disney+ now, would it? But it is now! So it looks like the fans got the last laugh! 😜

Okay, so I have just started watching the series on Disney+! I just finished watching the first six episodes (or technically 12).
I will say, as fast-paced and wild this show is, it is still enjoyable to watch. Kinda like Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog in a ways.
It is interesting to learn about how Dylan and Dolly work together. Even though they rarely work as a team together and tend to get on each others nerves with their strengths and weaknesses, they do once in a while have strong chemistry. Also, their brothers and sisters need both of them to have a well-balanced life. Doug and Delilah are very loving parents it seems. It’s going to take some time for me to really get to know all the other pups though because they don’t really get much focus.
One major drawback though is it’s repetitive. Each episode seems to be about Dylan or Dolly trying something new and then learning a lesson about the mistake they made. Like we really need more slice of life and coming of age shows.
So overall, this is a very fun series, and I am so glad that the US finally has it!
Also, now that the show is finally here, I found out from another fan of the show that my totem pole trench quirk does occur in one episode. I haven’t gotten to that episode yet, but something tells me I’m not going to like how it’s executed.
Now, my only question is: The show has been renewed for a second season, so does this mean Disney+ is going to add the new episodes on the Fridays prior to their UK launch date, or are they going to wait until the whole season is finished in the UK first and premiere it all at once when it’s all done like they did with this season?
Another concern I have is they might unexpectedly take this series down from Disney+. They actually have been doing that with some content already.

With the Show Officially coming to Disney Plus, one of the Animation Directors has posted this Image up, too! What you think of the Image, Pups?

I doubt they'll take this show down, and what content was taken down from Disney+ exactly? Also I think they're gonna do it like S1 because it's all handled by a different production company.

Even in the promotional art Clarissa is taking it on the chin. Nice to see the Dmitris found someone they can screw with and have impunity. Good grief, one of them has stuck his paw right in her giant air brake ears. Disney+ has cycled some stuff off the channel but mostly it's been seasonal-flavored Fox movies (example: "Home Alone"). Disney is likely going to keep their own branded stuff on there. Who's going to buy a Marie plush toy if they can't watch "The Aristocats" to know who she is after all.

That is true, but I thought we decided 101 Dalmatian Street isn’t entirely owned by Disney, so it could still easily become victim to getting removed as well.

Hey, babclayman and/or Stirfry? Since we have a sub-board for Episode Discussions, do you think we could also have a sub-board for Character Discussions? I’d really like that, and I think some other people would too.

That does sound like a good idea, Belchic!
I have added a "Character Discussion" Section in the "101 Dalmatian Streets" Area, now! I have also moved the Character Polls in to that Section, too!
You have some discussion in mind for the Street Dalmatians then, Belchic!?

Guys, I got some semi-bad news to report here. This was taken from the 101 Dalmatian Street Wiki:
While Season 2 has been in development, due to the Corona Virus pandemic, the employees working on the show are forced to work from home. This means production on the season will be a little slow.
Still, the second season is currently planned to launch in the UK sometime this year and in Canada next year. Nothing was said about the US, but I would assume it’ll come to the US the same time as Canada.
So it looks like I’m going to have to wait a whole year to watch this season, just like I did the previous season, but at least I can confirm without any doubt that it’s coming. I’m just going to have to wait a LONG time for it!

Now just to be clear here: Has everybody on this board seen the series now?

Guys, I got a little update here. I was just on the Wikipedia page for this show, and it now says the show’s status is currently unknown with no second season announced. I know Wikipedia is not the most trustworthy source, but we don’t have any official sources claiming that a second season has been confirmed. I know babclayman has said something about a second season coming, but apparently every source he found on the Internet stating this no longer exists. Jack Stover also said that Miklos Weigert quit the show and that it’s been canceled, but I don’t know where he heard this information since I can’t find any information anywhere on the Internet confirming this information! Anyway, I don’t know anything about this show’s status, but to those of you who like to make these sorts of announcements, if you’re going to announce stuff like this, please do me one small favor... PROVIDE LINKS TO SOURCES PROVING YOUR FACTS!!!!! DON’T JUST TELL US THIS NEWS WITHOUT PROOF AND JUST EXPECT ME TO TAKE YOUR WORD FOR IT!!! I AM NOT GOING TO BELIEVE ANYTHING FROM JUST WORD OF MOUTH! I NEED LEGITIMATE PROOF! UNDERSTAND???

Let me tell you something Belchic you don't need to shout for that's completely unnecessary and most uncalled for. Also if you want us to provide links to sources proving our facts think again wiseguy. If you want legitimate proof you'll get legitimate proof. And you need to calm yourself down for after all getting angry upset and or frustrated makes things worse, after all you're a grown man and an adult as you also need to get a grip and think before you speak as you need to learn to let it go and also take some anger management courses while you're at it.

Look, I only wrote that last paragraph just to make sure you guys read it. I’m really getting fed up with people on this board making announcements and just expecting me to take their word for it without showing any proof. The Internet is full of liars. I’m not calling anyone here a liar necessarily, but there are a lot of places on the Internet that are not very trustworthy, especially on social media. It’s common knowledge really.

uk.linkedin.com/in/miklos-weigert-7555471a"Series Director Passion Pictures May 2017 – Dec 20192 years 8 months" According to his resume he no longer works at Passion Pictures and is self-employeed, working on his own projects. The problem is: he's not the only one. So many staff on linkedin have listed the show as their former job. Turnover is to be expected, but the fact that so many people are leaving, including directors and producers, isn't a good sign. If the show were getting renewed we should have heard something about it by now. I don't yet know if it's been cancelled, but there was only ever one person online who said season two existed, one of the writers, and they later edited their website to remove that claim. All we can do is hope that it's just been delayed due to covid and that more episodes will be announced in the months to come.
