The show Music Mania begins with the show’s logo being formed in front of a sky blue background with lime green waves as electro house music was played. The show then faded into the show’s set, where there were three microphones (one for each contestant) on stands, a video wall on the opposite side of the set but in front of the contestant area, and three smaller monitors behind the contestants (one monitor for each contestant) that would show their scores.
The studio audience cheered and applauded, while the host of the show, Slide, walked onto the set and stood on a raised circular platform at the center. Slide was a fit male Dalmatian in his late teens, wearing a red t-shirt, a pair of blue pants, a pair of brown shoes, and a pair of sunglasses with blue frames, and having a tuft of hair, two spots on his right ear, a solid black left ear, two black hands, two black feet (which couldn’t be seen because they were covered up by his shoes), and three spots on each side of his body (which couldn’t be seen because they were covered up by his shirt). Slide began to speak as soon as he made it onto the platform and the studio audience quieted down.
“Hey, everybody!” said Slide. “I’m Slide Faulkner, your host of this show, Music Mania!”
The studio audience cheered and applauded again.
“We have three contestants competing in singing the right words to missing song lyrics. Let’s meet them, right now.”
Slide turned around to face the contestants, who were Vladimir, Katrina, and Lupus, in that order.
“And we’re starting with Vladimir,” he said. “How are you? Tell us about yourself.”

"Well, I'm happily married to a lovely Dalmatian," the mostly-black Dalmatian spoke as he smiled warmly to Katrina who, being masked on one side of the face, was blushing as her tail wagged. "And I'm an instructor in the written arts, a high school literature teacher that is, but my dear Katrina and I have been both patrons and performers of the theatrical arts."

“All right, good luck,” said Slide, and he turned to Katrina. “And our next contestant is Katrina. Welcome, Katrina. Tell us about yourself.”

"Well, as Vlad mentioned, he and I are happily married but while he's a literature teacher, I'm one of music." Katrina wagged her tail, putting a paw to her slightly round or protruding abdominal region. "Though my dear did forget to mention one thing; I'm an expecting mother."

“Well, I have a feeling that you’re gonna do great in this game,” said Slide. “Good luck to you.”
He then turned to Lupus.
“Our final contestant today is Lupus. Tell us about yourself.”

"Well, in terms of career I'm more of a zoo or aquarium worker honestly. Truth be told, all three of us have been friends as a whole since middle or high school. But that doesn't mean we share the same preference of music." Lupus explained

“All right, cool,” said Slide. “Well, good luck.” The audience cheered and applauded again, while Slide stepped off the platform and went over to the right side of the video wall. “Now, in this game, the three of you will be taking turns deciding whether to sing songs presented to you or pass them to either of your opponents. When you sing a song, you will start off singing it karaoke style. Then, you’ll reach a dotted blank, which means there’s a lyric missing. At that point, you have to sing the missing lyric, and if all the words sung are correct, you score a note. There are eight notes to score, and they are do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, and do, in that order.” As Slide named the eight notes, they appeared on each contestant’s scoreboard and are played in the C major scale. “The first contestant to score all eight notes, or whoever comes closest to doing so when time’s up, wins the game and moves on to the bonus round for a shot at $10,000!” The audience cheered wildly, and the $10,000 graphic in gold appeared on the video wall. “All right, let’s get ready to play!” All four monitors then cleared. “Now, before the show, we drew numbers to determine the order in which the contestants will be playing. Vladimir, you get to go first. Here’s the first song of the day.” On the video wall, a song title appeared in large, yellow text, with an artist or band name underneath in smaller, white text, both all in capital letters. This would be the case for all song titles and artist or band names appearing in the main game. The title and name now shown was: NO MONEY GALANTIS “It’s ‘No Money’ by Galantis,” said Slide. “Now, Vladimir, you have the option to sing this song or pass it to either Katrina or Lupus. But keep in mind that if you pass this song, then you have to sing the next song afterwards. So, what’s your decision?”

(OOC: Had to look up that band cause I've never heard of them; bear in mind I ONLY looked up the band name...and go figure why I never heard of them, I'm not into the Electronic scene that much if at all....excluding certain songs from DDR maybe.)
Vladimir blinked at the name of the song, scratching the back of his head, "Err....I'll pass it to Lupus, I don't think I've heard that song or band and neither has Katrina."

“Okay, passing it to Lupus,” said Slide, and he turned to Lupus. “Now, Lupus, if you sing this song right, you’ll score a note. But because Vladimir passed this song to you, if you sing it wrong, he’ll score a note. So, here’s the song, ‘No Money’ by Galantis. Start, now.” The lyrics to part of the song appeared on the video wall in black text, all in capital letters. A yellow bar appeared behind the lyrics, one at a time. The yellow bar indicated which lyric was currently sung. When the song began playing, the bar started at the lyric at the top and moved on down to the next lyric. The this would continue until the bar reached the lyric at the bottom, which would be shown in the form of a dotted blank, at which point the song would cut off so a contestant’s guess could be heard. All this would be the case for every song sung in the main game. The video wall now showed the following lyrics: SORRY, I AIN’T GOT NO MONEY. I’M NOT TRYING TO BE FUNNY, BUT I LEFT IT ALL AT HOME TODAY. YOU CAN CALL ME WHAT YOU WANNA. I AIN’T GIVING YOU A DOLLAR. THIS TIME, I AIN’T GONNA RUN AWAY. YOU MIGHT KNOCK ME DOWN. YOU MIGHT KNOCK ME DOWN, ..................................................................

Lupus, not having a clue of the song, scratched the back of his head, trying to think of a proper phrase that might fit, and shrugged, "But I'll get back up anyway?"

A buzzer sounded, and the bar turned red, meaning that a guess is incorrect. The audience groaned at the buzzer. “I’m sorry, that is not exactly right,” said Slide. “You were heading in the right direction, but the correct lyric was ‘but I will get back up again’.” He then turned to Vladimir. “Vladimir, that means you score a note!” The do note appeared on Vladimir’s scoreboard. “Now, because you passed that song, you have to sing the next song. Here’s the song you’ll be singing.” The video wall then showed the following title and name: HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO BONNIE TYLER “You have to sing this,” said Slide. “No passing. Here we go.” The video wall then showed the following lyrics: SOMEWHERE AFTER MIDNIGHT IN MY WILDEST FANTASY, SOMEWHERE JUST BEYOND MY REACH, THERE’S SOMEONE REACHING BACK FOR ME, RACING ON THE THUNDER, AND RISING WITH THE HEAT. IT’S GONNA TAKE A SUPERMAN ...................................................

Vladimir groaned a little, as he eyed Katrina, having a feeling she'd prefer having this song to sing, singing along to the song in the Karaoke fashion and then, in his personal tone, (not daring to try mimicking Bonnie Tyler), belts out with a lot of passion, "To SWEEP ME OFF MY FEEEEEEEET!" He actually had to hold himself back from singing any further, but after the singing Katrina proceeded to clap in applause at Vlad's singing and passion of it. They both knew that song well.

A series of bells sounded, and the bar turned green, meaning that a guess is correct. The audience cheered and applauded at the bells. “That is correct!” said Slide, and the re note appeared on Vladimir’s scoreboard. “You now have two notes. Now, that’s how we play Music Mania.” He then turned to Katrina. “Katrina, it’s your turn, now. Here’s the next song.” The video wall showed the following title and name: SEND IN THE CLOWNS JUDY COLLINS “Do you want to sing this song or pass it to Vladimir or Lupus?” said Slide.

(Once again, no idea but the title's familiar.)
Katrina thinks it over, as she timidly speaks up, "I'll um...try and guess it myself."

“Okay, she’s gonna try it,” said Slide. “Here we go.” The video wall showed the following lyrics: ISN’T IT RICH? ISN’T IT QUEER, LOSING MY TIMING THIS LATE IN MY CAREER? BUT WHERE ARE THE CLOWNS? THERE OUGHT TO BE CLOWNS. ............................................
