We have a couple of alphabet game threads here. We have one that uses fictional characters, and we have a “jump rope” thread. So, I’m gonna start one that uses movie quotes. Yes, quotes from movies.
It’s really simple. The first person will post a movie quote that begins with “a”, and the next person will post one that begins with “b”, and the person after that will post one that begins with “c”, and so on. After a movie quote that begins with “z” is posted, the next one posted has to begin with “a”. If there’s a letter that you think is hard to come up with a movie quote for, you can skip that letter and move on to the next letter. Also, each time you post a movie quote, remember to include the character who said it and the movie in which that quote is said. And try not to repeat any movie quotes posted here.
So, that’s all there is to it. I’ll start this off with “a”.

“Hear me, Scrooge. There are some upon this earth of yours who claim to know me and my brothers, and do their deeds of ill will and selfishness in our name. These so-called ‘men of the cloth’ are as strange to me and my kin as if they never lived. Charge their doings to them, not us.” —The Ghost Of Christmas Present, A Christmas Carol (2009 film)

“Of course, they are. That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? That’s what it’s always been about! Gifts! Gifts. Gifts, gifts, gifts, gifts, gifts, gifts! You wanna know what happens to your gifts? They all come to me...in your garbage. You see what I’m saying? In your garbage! I could hang myself with all the bad Christmas neckties I found at the dump! And the avarice. The avarice never ends! ‘I want golf clubs!’ ‘I want diamonds!’ ‘I want a pony so I can ride it twice, get bored, and sell it to make glue!’ Look, I don’t wanna make waves, but this whole Christmas season is stupid, stupid, stupid! There is, however, one teeny-tiny Christmas tradition I find quite meaningful: mistletoe. Now, pucker up and kiss it, Whoville!” —The Grinch, Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! (2000 live-action film)
