Random Fact #4743: If you have seen any of the Kung Fu Panda movies, you would have known that the Furious 5 were crucial characters for the story. They all had roles in the first three movies, but only appeared for a cameo guest spot at the end of Kung Fu Panda 4. Some writers and animators were lobbying for their inclusion, but they were only added once the marketing department told them that they needed the Furious 5 in the movie that they were added as a last-minute addition. Co-Director Stephanie Stine said the reason why they do not appear more in the fourth movie simply boiled down to the fact their original voice actors were some A-list stars and they were trying to watch the budget; their original voices were done by Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, David Cross, Lucy Liu and Jackie Chan. She went on to say that one of the producers let her know that even a single line of dialogue from Angelina Jolie would have been $20 million. www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/1595294-kung-fu-panda-4-marketing-department-ordered-the-furious-fives-cameo?fbclid=IwAR2ryw0hVhiMLQX3if6i90Ahhaaqjkl2-D6S5FOFbGOMkDb15ywO6vVDpPs

That movie is from Chris Sanders.
You know, the same guy who did Lilo and Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon and The Croods.
I'm interested.

I will concur, I did love the movie as well.
Looking back, I think I have some new movies that I will need to rewatch so I can provide my thoughts on them.
At the same time, I now know how to pronounce Zhen's name, which is always good.

Is there a Hall of Fame for motion pictures? I asked this question a while ago, but now I know the answer is yes. It’s called the National Film Registry. Also, if I’m not mistaken, The Lion King is in there. Yes it is and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Random Fact #4732:
During the year 1987, we got a movie called Masters of the Universe. This movie was based on the popular toyline from Mattel and was the first live-action movie based on such an idea. It was originally a critical and commercial failure, with a large reason being that by 1987, the popularity of the toy was in decline (the Filmation cartoon series ended in 1985). Only He-Man's (literal) sister series She-Ra: Princess of Power was still on the air by the time of the movie's release. However, it would later become a cult film.
What is interesting is that while the movie was in production, Mattel was running a contest where the winner would make a guest spot in the film. Being that it was sprung on director Gary Goddard at the last minute, the kid was in the movie, in full costume as "Pig Boy", the anthropomorphized pig Eterian that hands Skeletor his staff before the climax.
He'll only be able to prove it in the credits as the mask is hiding his face.

I just read while working that for that new Mufasa prequel film, apparently they are not forgetting about Timon and Pumbaa and they will be in the movie as well.
I am not sure how this is going to work.
