(Night, Lt. Pug is loaded wads of something into a vault. He notices and stares straight at the viewer)
Lt. Pug: Oh, hello there. Ever seen $1,000 dollars at one time before. Now you have.
(Those wads he was loading into the safe are revealed to be money. Pug holds up one of the wads of 50 $20 dollar bills)
Pug: This is 1,000 dollars. You'd like this wouldn't you. More money than a dog could ever use. And I'll give it to you, if you can reach it.
(Puts the money inside the vault and closes it but doesn't lock it)
Pug: Inside this vault is $101,000 but to get some of it you must first accept my challenge. See my old "Obstacle Course of pain and suffering" was fine but cadets had a bad habit of well, finishing it. I want a harder obstacle course...and now I have one.
(The camera zooms out to reveal Pug and the Vault are located on top of a 30 foot metal tower. It appears the only way to climb it is a rope hanging from the middle of it, its bottom is obscured by the night as the camera zooms back to Pug)
Pug: 101 brave challengers have accepted my challenge to take on my obstacle course. I'm so confident that my new course is unbeatable that I have added this $101,000 prize. If just one challenger can reach this finish line, each one who accepted my challenge will get $1,000. If no one reaches the finish, this money is staying right where it is and no one gets anything. Do any of you have what it takes to win?
(The camera pans down to the 101 challenges, almost every named character we've got. It's everyone from the series actual characters like Lucky and Cadpig to the most obscure of fan characters like Swift Fox and Gabriel the so-called "Dogfather.")
All: YES!
(Paws, wings, flippers, claws and hooves are raised skyward. They are ready)
Lt. Pug: Good. Oh, but don't think you start with this tower. No no, this is Stage 3. You'll all start with Stage 1 which I warn you is designed to be unbeatable. I'd wish you all luck but I expect all of you to fail so tough luck maggots. You'll all need it on my new TOP DOG obstacle course...
101 challengers, 3 stages, CAN ANYONE MAKE IT?
I've been playing with this idea for a while because it would almost all the characters we have to some extent and I could write and post it in small chunks over time, more like the bloopers that I write often and less like the full-blown fics that take a while to write which I admit I don't have time for. I am a bit reculant however to go beyond trailers though since this is a send-up of Ninja Warrior and naturally it has to be d**n near impossible. We may start with 101 but only like 20 tops can even get by Stage 1 (like the real show, mostly only the most athletic or most well-planned or trained) with maybe 1 or 2 actually getting a chance at the end. I'm reculant having other people's characters lose because of how the "Who's goin' replace Spot" fiasco played out and I don't want a repeat of all those hurt feelings and controversy. Hopefully I can make this work with the more team-oriented approach.
Sample of the real show this is a parody of.
