It had good writing, good chararcterisation, good acting and good animation. It almost got me crying at points and scenes made me laugh hard. Though with the audience in the cinema laughing you swear you were watching a sitcom. =P Still I really enjoyed it. Well, all people pretty much care about nowadays are sitcoms, which is why the world of entertainment has gone so downhill lately. By reading these opinions of Up, it makes me want to buy the DVD ^^ You're in luck. The DVD is coming out real soon.

I never said it was a sitcom Belchic.
I just said that since the jokes were good and funny. The audience reaction in the theatre i was in made it look like a sitcom.
The entertainment value was awesome.

This just in! I found out some info on the Academy Awards this year. "Up" has been nominated for Best Picture! That's pretty amazing! This is now only the second time in history that an animated feature has been nominated for Best Picture. The first was "Beauty and the Beast". However, I'm willing to bet that it's not going to win compared to the other 9 films that have been nominated for Best Picture. I'm willing to bet that the winner is either going to be "Avatar", "District 9" or "A Serious Man".

I liked Up a lot! My mom thought it was too sad. Now we call it "Downer" XD I'm serious.
