I was reading about the movie yesterday, but this one doesn't sound as interesting to me, so, I think I might pass on it.

I have a friend who subscribed to D23 magazine. The first issue had an article on this movie. I heard that it's got some of the same charm from "101 Dalmatians" and "Lady and the Tramp", so I think it's gotta be good.

Yep. Same here. Disney has officially gone back to being the good Disney. They've proved it in "Wall-E", "Bolt" and now "Up". I now see why fans of 101 Dalmatians and Lady and the Tramp would enjoy it. It's a must-see!

A terrific film. My favorite character by far is Dug the talking dog: "Squirrel!"

Brilliant Movie. i saw it last night. Probably one of Pixars finest to date.
It had good writing, good chararcterisation, good acting and good animation. It almost got me crying at points and scenes made me laugh hard. Though with the audience in the cinema laughing you swear you were watching a sitcom. =P Still I really enjoyed it.
Also, i think i saw Dug in "Ratatooie" Watch the scene when Remmy is going through all those paris homes. In one he sees the shadow of a dog. I swear that shadow belongs to Dug. Wouldn't surprise me as Pixar are always putting foreshadows of their future films in their movies (e.g. In Monster Inc, Sulley gets a Nemo toy or in "Finding Nemo" a boy is reading a Mr Incredible comic, both cases references to the next film)
