Just curious, anyone else here besides me and Johny like Top Gear?
Top Gear is a show about cars from England that answers the questions about cars we really want answered, like what can get across Europe faster a small airplane or a Bugatti Veyron?
There are tests of the world's most expensive, rare and fast cars.
There are challenges usually played for laughs.
There's even celebrity interviews (although they are basically throwaway segments of no real value)
And of course, there's the ultimate test driver...The Stig. ("Some say his left nipple is shaped like the Nurburgring Ring, and that he's had to give up binge drinking now that's gotten to $4 a gallon. All we know for certain is he's called the Stig...")

Well since i live in the UK where Top Gear is made. I watched it sometimes too.
It is quite a interesting & funny show. Thumbs up from me.
I say my favorite parts are when they go to those places like America, Africa & Vietnam where they need to race to the finish. I remember in the USA, They nearly got attacked when they put things which may offend citizens as a mission or when Hammond (or the Hamster) had this car (Oliver) begin to sink in Africa and you got that dramatic music playing before he screamed "OLIVER!!!" I then later learnt he shipped Oliver back to the UK and now Oliver co-stars with him on a science program.
Though i must say that my favorite race was the one through London where they got the Stig to ride Public Transport like the bus and underground.
But Overall, Top Gear is a VERY good show

New season just started (Won't be here in America for a year so I catch it on YouTube right after they air before the BBC yanks them. I don't know why they delay it so long, with all the motorheads in America I don't know why they don't air it earilier.)
If you like the travel episodes Bab you're in for some treats. This season they're going to Dubai to race supercars and it appears also possibly coming to US to check out some rally car and motocross stunts. Just in the first episode, they had a race from London to Scotland.
Oh, and the Stig was unmasked! Well, not really but if they were going to fake it they choose the right man to fake it with.

The's show 15th season starts Sunday and although they did have to tone down the stunts a little the show hasn't likely lost its charm.
In the new season's first episode James May brings their "North Pole" Toyota Hilux out of retirement to drive up an active volcano in Iceland...and you're right it is the same one that erupted and screwed up Europe's air travel (in fact it blew it's top just days after TG finished filming). Also the boys check out the history of the infamous Reliant Robin and the Stig gets his hands on the new Bentley Continental Supersports.
There will be a sad goodbye however as the Chevrolet Lacetti, the show's faithful "reasonably-priced car" driven by so many stars, is retired and replaced by a Chevy Cruze (with a gallant launch for the new car). However unlike when the show's original Suzuki Liana was retired they aren't going to keep it around so the Lacetti will bit the dust in the season's first episode. All that's been revealed is it will be a "Viking funeral" so needless to say it's probably not headed to a user-car dealership as a trade-in on a Prius.

In case you missed it, which unless you get BBC2 you did, here's a bit from the latest episode of Top Gear. Our favorite politcally incorrect Brit Jeremy Clarkson drives the famous and humorous Reliant Robin, a plastic cart with only three wheels. Cue the flips!!! PART 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahHsoiciRp8PART 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rmQ3RJRAmIAnd I was wrong about the new Reasonable Priced Car, they got a KIA Cee'd instead of a Cruze. The Lacetti got a flattening send off, they crushed the Chevy by knocking over a smokestack onto it.

I certainly like Top Gear but I've only seen a select of episodes and clips. For episodes, mainly those traveling ones like the Florida to New Orleans one or the Nile Exploration. As for clips the most recent I recall watching and like involves that clown car the Peel P50 and the clip before that is the ATV poorly disguising itself as a car, the P45. XD Personally, I'd say Hammond and Jeremy, (moreover Jeremy), are my favorites of the trio.
Also, did you know that least on Forza Motorsport 3, (least for some editions of the game), there's a whole episode included? I know this because I got it for my last b-day from my dad and downloaded the episode. Here's a question, what would you pups, (those of you who watch or like Top Gear), consider as your favorite traveling Top Gear episode? Me, I can't name a single one cause they're all so funny......maybe the Miami to New Orleans episode. Namely for the sake of that offensive spray paint portion. XD
P.S. Which would you rather have? The Peel P50 or the P45? Me, I'd say the P45 because it can go in reverse and isn't literally a freakin' clown car.

I like the San Francisco to Bonneville muscle car road trip but that's probably the only one of the travel ones I really liked. Jeremy's red $100,000 / 200 MPH Ferrari-killing Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in that episode made me proud to be American.
