I've just watched "Prima Doggy" once again, to take the screenshots of Cecil B de Vil to draw him. But now when I saw it, I actually wonder.... why is he a member of De Vil family? As far as I can see, in that episode he didn't do any evil thing. Can somebody explain that? thanks in advance...

He's a jerk. Being a jerk is pretty close to being considered evil in most people's books.

I really don't think Cecil was a bad guy. Was he a tough guy to work for, heck ya! But lots of directors in real life are like that (the late Stanley Kubrick immediately comes to mind) and they aren't evil. Cecil was a just a hard boss, not really a bad guy.

I agree with Race. Cecil isn't actually bad or any evil. Evil, he's just a guy who wants to get his thing filmed. You need disapline like Cecil to be a director, to make sure the actors & crew don't decide to do anything they want. Besides, it does pay off, Cecil did win some rewards for his work.
I think like Race said, Alot of real life directors act like him, i think George Lucas did when he was making the original Star Wars movie.
So yeah, He isn't evil, he just wants to do his job.
