So American holidays that are mainly an excuse for excess commercialism are bad but American bourbon whiskey is good?...eh, works for RaceFanX.
I'll probably do what I do every year. Wear a jacket, carry around duct tape and say I'm MacGyver. Nobody ever trick-or-treats at my house anyway.

Speaking with Kit on what Halloween really is about.
I heard it was suppose to be the eve of a day when people go and prayer for the dead and the eve was when their spirits wondered free (i can guess thats where zombies came from) however where we started dressing up like anything and why we started eating candy is anyones guess.
Still...there's candy =p

But I was talking about us when I mentioned commercialism, not you guys. You have had the tradition in it's modern form for almost a century arguably having been commercialized over time. But my intent was not on discussing commercialism. More the commercial phenomenon around the specific holidays introduction in my country. the "tradition" has been here for a decade or so and it was introduced at the peak of it's commercial standard. It was a marketing trick. Here, It's not some long on-going tradition that has been commercialized over time, like Christmas. It was introduced for that exact purpose. Spending Money. I have not time to finish this properly. We'll meet on AIM some time, so I'll hopefully get the chance to explain myself properly.

I think I've decided on my costume. I'm thinking of dressing up as Original Bubs. I'm gonna have my picture taken and sent to the Homestar Runner site and see if it gets on the next Fan Costumes video!

I'll be away from here this weekend, because I'll be at my uncle's house this Halloween. While I'm there, I'll be helping my uncle hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters, and watching some horror movies with my cousins. I'll pack my things and leave tomorrow. I'll be back on this board Sunday night.

I changed my mind about my costume. I went to Mickey's Halloween Party last Friday as Weird Al. I'll do my Original Bubs costume next year.
