You guys are really overlooking the incest factor here aren't you?
People seem to forget a lot of these characters are siblings and .....ugh. No. Penny should be with someone who's not of blood relation if anything.
I personally like Cadpig more with Tripod but...that's just me.

I've been thinking about this a lot... Can brother and sister related puppies be married? (I can't rephrase this with a more appropriate question, but you get the point eh.) e.g. Lucky and Two-tone or Patch and Penny. I don't give in to pairings though but the most recognized pairing in the 101 Dalmatians franchise is LuckyXTwo-Tone. So can the two might end up with each other? Anyone?
And this is really confusing, As I said earlier, there were accounts that the Penny in the animated form of "Cadpig". Disney didn't include Cadpig in the movies though she is an original novel character. So cadpig is also the penny in the series? I'm going cockoo here.

So are Penny and Cadpig two different pups or are they two heads living in one body?

No. It's not that. I think what we mean is that Penny is suppose to be the "Animated Films" version of Cadpig. The character, but just named differently.
However she was planned to be a Main Dal in "101 Dalmatians The Series" but got cut. Although in other dubs of the Series, Cadpig is called Penny...
Given that Penny & Cadpig were intended to both be in the Series, we accept the idea that they are two different Pups, even if Penny was inspired by Cadpig (Although, Lucky got Cadpig's Novel Personality in the Movie).
Adaptations are hard to explain, aren't they?

I do so myself too. I am saying that perhaps Cadpig is the inspiration to Penny.
Disney did intend to make her one of the Main Pups along with Cadpig in "101 Dalmatians The Series", so they think they're two different Dals too.
You get what I mean though? ;3

We tend to think Penny is the "Movie Cadpig" because the filmmakers didn't have the screentime necessary to establish why she would have such an odd name.

Penny reminds me of Sheldon Cooper just not as week as him or much of a loser as him.
Imagine her the series correcting everyone in Shelton/Penny way e.g. When Rolly struggles to impress Dumpling.
She'll say to who ever came up with the idea " it's not going to work and because you did it." You know Sheldon Coopers and Penny Dearly's corrections. That would have made the series a whole lot funnier and probably made it go longer.
Especially when she finds out she is wrong and goes crying in the other room. Or when she when two were sick, she would demand to get tended to first.
Just imagine I could see huge potential in this pup and for the show. We could seen more of Twotone, Patch and many more.
That is why I think Penny is the best pup.
What da you think.

While we have this topic revised, if Penny was established in the series, who would likely do her voice?
Trey came up with the idea to have her voiced by Janyce Jaud, who voiced Sarah on "Ed, Edd n Eddy". I think that seems appropriate since Penny is a bossy pup.
However, everyone else on this board seems to think she should be voiced by Kayley Cuoco just because she played Penny on "Big Bang Theory". I think that's kind of a stupid excuse. Just because she played a character by the same name does not mean she has to voice every single character who goes by that name. I mean, there's a character on Pound Puppies named Lucky, but that doesn't mean he has to be voiced by Pamela Segall Aldon just because she voiced Lucky on 101 Dalmatians. There's also a character on that show named Olaf, but he's not voiced by Josh Gad (who voiced Olaf in "Frozen"). Besides, I think Kayley Cuoco would suit Jewel better because of her valley girl personality, and Kayley voiced Brandy on Brandy and Mr. Whiskers (who was a valley girl).

Not everyone, Belchic, I think Kayley would fit Jewel better than she would Penny in the 101 Dalmatians Series, what doesn't make sense is letting Janyce Jaud voice Jewel, I think either Kayley Cuoco or Erin Fitzgerald (Who played Nazz and May in Ed, Edd n Eddy.) Will suit Jewel better.

I’m with Belchic on this; Just because someone happens to have played someone called Penny in another show, does not mean she’s qualified to voice another character of the same name. I know there’s Actor Allussion, but casting on name alone shouldn’t cut it. I mean, we don’t have Kristen Steward playing Twilight Sparkle, do we? I don't cast Brian Blessed as Clayton's voice either, even if Blessed voiced someone called Clayton in Tarzan.
Belchic does have a point on Janyce Jaud because Concept of “101 Dalmatians The Series” said that Penny would have been dictorial. One can argue she can be voiced by Kath Soucie too, because Penny is somewhat an Expy for Cadpig (in some countries, Cadpig is called Penny).
How would her dictorial personality come across, but not make her too antagonistic?

I can't see Penny being anything but bossy and straightforward, and I know no-one here likes to hear the D word but yeah, because of DWoW XD DWoW's Penny was the only Penny I've ever seen played and every time I see her mentioned, I think of the personality Angel established for her there, which I like. ^^
It makes it hard to pair her with other pups lol because it's hard to see her with anyone because of that hardheaded personality. =p

She's also fond of her Father, like the line; "No dog's better than (Pongo)."
Of course, there needs to be a way to show the dictorial side, without making her seem antagonistic...at least not as much as Cadpig? ^^"
