This happened in the ARCA race on Saturday.Patrick Sheltra in the green #60 gets tapped and spins coming out of turn four, then Larry Hollenbeck comes and slams into Sheltra's car just after the driver's door causing him to spin around....fortunely both drivers are ok and recovering at Halifax, this wreck really made me chring it's the hardest crash I've ever seen.

It's a good thing Hollenbeck hit Sheltra in the back of his car and not in the driver's door or that one could have had a very sad ending. Both those guys are very lucky. This is the first I've heard of Sheltra's condition and I'm glad to hear he's okay. I saw them remove Hollenbeck from his car on TV and, though he had a neck brace on, he gave the crowd a thumbs up to show the crowd he was alright.
This was was very late in the race and all those drivers were in contention for the win. In a scenario like that, with mostly inexperieced drivers like these, it's a receipe for big wrecks.

UPDATE: Patrick Sheltra may have taken a hard lick in this crash at Daytona but healed up quick and he didn't miss a single ARCA race. On the contray, not only did Sheltra run in the next ARCA race this season, HE WON IT!
Sheltra now sits 3rd in ARCA points, 60 out of the lead, and is shaping up to possibly be a contender for this year's ARCA championship
