Jimmie Johnson becomes the second driver to win three Cup Championships in a row....the first since Cale Yarborough in 76-77-78. Also,Carl Edwards wins his 9th race of the year(more than anyone else)by stretching his fuel. And(can't believe I'm saying this )Jeff Gordon goes winless for the first time since his rookie season.....

Jimmie Johnson...NASCAR legend. That #48 team used the Chase to turn it around.
Kyle Busch's season of destiny fell apart once the Chase started, out of contention quick and didn't even win the most Cup races. Tough luck Rowdy.
I can't believe Harvick, Kenseth and Gordon were all winless this season, and Dale Jr. started hot but only won one points race.
I'd be lying if I said 2008 was not the worse season of NASCAR racing I've ever seen... NASCAR flat out rigged a Talladega race, every fear about Toyota stated to come true, Cup guys again ruined the Busch, err, I mean Nationwide series season, the Brickyard 400 was a joke, the CoT still produces bad races, the Top-35 rule is ruining the sport and Brian France and NASCAR not only refuse to do anything to fix it, they won't even admit anything is wrong.
Get your act in gear or I'll go watch ARCA!
