I think I posted some picks of this before but still it's cool and deserves more discussion...
Monster Mutt is a truck that is really popular with little kids. The body is a fibergalss 1949 Mercury car with fabric ears which are designed to flap around. After about a year the tail was added.
The truck is one of several owned by the USHRA, or United States Hot Rod Association, a division of Clear Channel Entertainment who runs the Monster Jam and Thunder Nationals Monster Truck tours.
The original and most popular Monster Mutt is mostly brown and it is used for big shows (The Monster Jams), the Dalmatian Monster Mutt is mostly used for the Thunder Nationals, smaller shows with fewer trucks in smaller areas (you can tell in the photos that those areas are quite small). The reason for two is to allow more exposure.
The Dalmatian Monster Mutt did make some Monster Truck history, at the annual Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas in 2007 it and the regular Monster Mutt became the first two trucks with same name to both compete in the World Finals in the same year. Sadly the Dalmatian was knocked out very early in the racing bracket.
For another dog-themed Monster Truck, look up Brutus, a Chevy with a body designed to resemble a dog.
Of course, in the end, Bigfoot is still cooler ;D but I'd still love to take that monsterous spotted white Mercury for a spin (preferably around the local Toyota Honda Subaru dealer)

Oh, if Monster Mutt Dalmatian revs your engine, check the toy car aisle of your local store as Hot Wheels makes a toy version of the truck.
