Yes... especially when we see Dipstick, who we know is male, he wore blue collar... Lucky the same... so obviously Jewel and 2Tone are female

I think in the live action movie the boys wore blue and the girls wore pink (cept Perdita and Pongo which was funny cause Roger got them mixed up and almost left with Perdita before Anita stopped him)

Yeah, for the live action movie, the pups collars were Blue & Pink (Blue for boy, Pink for girl) While Pongo and Perdys collars were black.
For animated series, the colour was random
And for the animated movie, even the dvd says that Red collar means Male & Blue means female.
Why they couldn't kepp consistant i have no idea.

maybe they wanted the collars to be unique? Dipstick in the series wore a silver collar as well as his blue one and we know Patch's collar was a rope

Well Dipstick only wore the silver collar for one episode.
For Patchs rope, he was the only one who had a unique collar which lasted the whole series (and it is the only thing we had which could tell us it was him)
I guess the animators threw the colours up and said "Really! Who gives a darn!"

Oh guys... so I drew 13 puppies. After all what I read here, there are two options for the last two of them: 1. Blob and Blot 2. Blackie and Whitney Drake suggested random names like "Bob and Jane", but it's not possible, because I need two females to be 8 males and 7 females. So I think it would be the best to use names "Blackie and Whitney". I'll just have to improvize with them, because they were never seen

And I have a question-is Fidget male or female? I know Fidget wore a blue collar in the movie, but I recently watched the 101 Dalmatians sing-a-long tape while babysitting, and was refered to as a girl.

Well, Fidget wore blue collar in the live action movie and i consider that more canon than the Disney Sing-Along tapes.
So, i would have to say that 'Fidget' is male.
