Okay, here's a spoiler alert for those who haven't read the book.
In the original book, there were two nannies, whereas in the movies and the TV series, there is just one. The two nannies are named Nanny Cook and Nanny Butler. Nanny Butler is Roger's nanny, while Nanny Cook is Anita's nanny.
If you're wondering which one they got rid of for the Disney franchise, well lay all worries to rest. I know for a fact that the one they kept was Nanny Cook. There is evidence in the series and the live action movie that she is Anita's nanny. In one episode of the series, Nanny talks with Anita about how she used to change her diapers when she was little. Also, in the live action movie, Nanny tells Anita that she remembered how well she used to draw when she was a little girl.
Anyone else have any interesting evidence?

Well, I've never read the book and I didn't know this. But they used Nanny Cook because , one other fact, is that they launched a lot of figurines of the animated version for the "WALT DISNEY CLASSICS COLLECTION" and the Nanny figurine is called 'Nanny Cook and Lucky'

I actually got an old book as well, From the 1960s, as the Film first come out (It's the one with the Pups names like, Salter, Blackie, Whitey, etc.) and it even states in that, The Nanny is called, "Nanny Cook". X3 I'll see if I can upload the page of that book, if it help. X3
