I just wanted to spread this legacy to the world and have them remembered.

Odd that you started this topic. I had just started listening to their music now, and I was just going to start a topic on them.

Here's what I know about each member:
Davy Jones - Davy is a.k.a. "The Cute One". He was the most popular of the Monkees as so many girls had a huge crush on him. He was supposed to be the lead singer of the band, yet he only sang less than half of their songs. He's often poked fun at for being short.
Micky Dolenz - He was the drummer of the band, even though in reality, he played guitar. In the show, he was known as "The Comic Relief". While Davy was supposed to be the band's lead singer, Micky sang most of the band's big hits.
Michael Nesmith - He's supposed to be "the Leader" of the band. He sort of made himself the leader because he was the oldest, most mature, and the only member who can actually write songs.
Peter Tork - Probably the least-discussed member of the band. Peter was the bass player for the band. In the show, he was "The Goofy One". He also rarely sang any songs.

Davy was the heartthrob. Want me to let you in on something?
