What do your characters think of the main pups? In this thread, you can post comments of what your characters think of Lucky, Rolly, Cadpig & Spot. Their views can be positive, their views can be negative, it doesn’t matter, as long as it is what your characters think and that’s all that matters in this thread. I’ll give you some examples. ClaytonLuckyWhile Clayton finds himself to be on neutral grounds with Lucky, he can’t help but feel a bit of dislike sometime. This is due to that Clayton partially suffers from BPS (Background Pup Syndrome) so he feels shadowed by the fact Lucky always seems to be the only pup who ever does anything and is hogging all the fame to himself. This dislike is worsen when Lucky acts arrogant and sometimes upstages other pups (He sometimes believes Lucky only made the whole Tac wanting to kill him thing up just so he doesn’t have to dim his lime light) Clayton hopes that one day, Lucky would be unable to do something which would give him fame and another more deserving pup would be able to be the hero of the hour. Until then, he acts civil with Lucky and only speaks about what annoys him about Lucky to other pups later on. RollyClayton doesn’t really take much notice to Rolly. However Clayton does often wonder how any pup is able to eat as much as Rolly can (He sometimes wonders what would happen if Rolly ate non-stop and finished all the food in the tower). For now, neutral grounds CadpigClayton likes Cadpig. While he does find that she can be a bit weird at points, he does find that she is more modest than Lucky and fully respects her. He also feels a bit sorry for her being the runt and smallest pup of all; however he does often fantasise about her being giant. But overall, he is on good grounds. SpotNeutral Grounds. While he does find her a bit annoying, he does give Spot as much respect as any other normal person would. KendraLuckyKendra finds Lucky a bit of a control freak who thinks he is the king of the farm. Most of the time, she doesn’t take any orders from Lucky and chooses her own path, except unless she thinks it is what needs to be done for the best, that is the only time when she does agree. RollyHer views on Rolly are as the same as Claytons CadpigKendra enjoys Cadpigs Company. She feels that Cadpig is good at looking into the psychological world and finds her a good meditating partner. Possible her favourite out of the four. SpotWhile on neutral grounds Kendra does find Spot a bit demented. Some rumours floating around claim Kendra wants to eat Spot. MalindaLuckyMalinda doesn’t like Lucky, in fact; she hates him. She plans to either kill Lucky or even better; curse him with extreme suffering. However she hasn’t gotten around to doing it. RollyMalinda is disgusted by Rollys Pig like and snobbish behaviour. Possibly her least favourite out of the four. CadpigWhile Malinda does have a bit of respect for Cadpig and thinks she be a valuable addition; she finds Cadpig to be a bit of a softy and feels she can do great things, if only she loosened up and went bad. Malinda hopes Cadpig would soon be able to see this and join her. SpotShe thinks the same as Kendra inclueding the same rumour. Those are some examples, if you want to say what your characters think of the main four, post it here.

This is actually a good idea.
Ace
Rolly: Ace is a pretty good friend of Rolly but he is extremely worried about Rolly's health and weight. Ace, tries his best to submit his Dietary fitness ideas and smartness to Rolly. Of course Rolly doesn't really listen to him. He considers Rolly a good friend but feels pity for him.
Lucky: Ace kinda takes pity on Lucky because he feels his obsession with Thunderbolt and Television is a little bit unhealthy. Ace doesn't really pay much attention to him. He's not unfriendly or enemies with Lucky. He just doesn't really like talking to him very much. But, he would make light conversation.
Cadpig: Probably one of the best friend he has on the farm. Ace feels like Cadpig is a great friend who he can really relate too. Since both of them are kinda spiritual and smart. Ace hits it off well with cadpig the most.
Spot: He pays so little attention to her that he doesn't even have anything to say negative or positive about her she's just "Meh".

Interesting topic. I'll do some of mine:
Belchic
Lucky: Belchic admires Lucky and looks up to him as a great leader and a really good friend.
Cadpig: He likes Cadpig and finds her to be a real sweetheart.
Rolly: He gets along well with Rolly a lot being that the two of them are similar in some ways.
Spot: Sometimes, Spot annoys him.
Noggin
Lucky: Noggin's sort of on neutral grounds with Lucky. There are times when he gets annoyed by him and always tries to prove that he's better.
Cadpig: Need I say anything? They're romantically related to each other, but Noggin still treats Cadpig pretty much the same way Lucky does.
Rolly: Noggin is easily disgusted by Rolly and often uses him as a subject of joke.
Spot: Spot irritates the heck out of him.
Tippy
Lucky: She really likes Lucky and finds him to be a really good friend.
Cadpig: She's flattered that she and Cadpig have a lot of similarities, so the two of them get along with each other as long as Cadpig isn't being so much of a jerk.
Rolly: She doesn't mind Rolly too much, and she can be close to him as a friend being that she's one of the few who doesn't call him fat.
Spot: She's sort of on neutral grounds with Spot.
Joey
Lucky: Joey likes Lucky a lot as a friend.
Cadpig: Joey likes Cadpig a lot as a friend.
Rolly: Joey sometimes likes to keep a distance from Rolly, but he's fine being with him as long as Lucky and Cadpig are with him too for support.
Spot: Joey finds Spot to be an overkill as an addition to the main pups.
Lizzie
Lucky: She knows Lucky well and gets excited whenever he shows up in front of her.
Cadpig: She finds Cadpig to be a good pup to talk with.
Rolly: Whenever she gets hungry, she can count on Rolly to get her some really good food.
Spot: Spot is someone who should watch out for this dog. If she's gone for a long exposure without food, she might try to eat her.

This looks like fun, I'll do it NemoLucky: Kind of neutral because she to thinks he is a spotlight hog. But is able to get along with him. Cadpig: Likes Cadpig, in fact at first had a crush on her when she came to the farm because Cadpig was so nice. But then Nemo got another girl. Overall though, she's cool with her since they're both the same size. Rolly: She doesn't mind him at all, in fact considers him a friend. Nemo has his respect, though she likes to prank him with food. Like waving a fake piece of bacon in his face. Spot: Is annoyed by even the sound of her voice. Likes to make up plots to kill Spot, though she would never act out the plans because she knows she'd get in trouble if she did. EnviLucky: Kinda neutral with Lucky, but she can get along with him very well. Cadpig: Considers Cadpig one of her best friends, and likes to talk to her. Also idolizes her for always knowing what to say. Rolly: Also considers him a friend, and sometimes teases him about him being fat. Spot: Neutral grounds, but sometimes pokes fun at her because she's a chicken. Reverse[/b] Lucky: Reverse doesn't like Lucky at all, not in the 'extreme hatred' but just.... doesn't like him. Thinks he has all the spotlight on him. Cadpig: Thinks of her as a hippie psychologist. When no one's looking he goes to her for advice. Rolly: He enjoys calling Rolly fat. Though can sometimes get along with him. Spot: If he goes without food for a while.... he'd try to eat her.

How is it metaphoric? If you want to know, Bab, has long had ideas about how his OCs feel towards the canon characters. I can base that info on IM convos and even trace back a few posts on this forum. I can assure you, this topic is genuine.

It's metaphoric in the sense it represents your feelings on the characters.
If there was nothing metaphoric, I'd expect to see some OCs that happen to like Spot.

It's metaphoric in the sense it represents your feelings on the characters. If there was nothing metaphoric, I'd expect to see some OCs that happen to like Spot. ah, you mean self insertation. It's shameless, but still the characters where made by you, and will most likely be influenced by yourself. It's inavoidable =/ I'll give it a try: KitLuckyKit is not really affected by Lucky's prescence. With Kit being quite the introvertive he rarely sees Lucky's self righteousness. To him, Lucky is just another pup at a farm that's strangely filled with dogs and their impressions. The two probably got nothing to talk about. CadpigCadpig is a more interesting case. Her empathic, intellectual nature makes it easier for her to relate to Kit who may come of as a little "spaced out" to the boys. Kit has consoled her for advice once, finding her a reasonable person to talk with. RollyMuch of the same that goes for Lucky. Kit is dependant on people being interested to fully open himself to others, which is why he rarely says much in public situations. With both Lucky and Rolly being sort of self centered (wether it's the glory or the appetite) the communication might prove to be somewhat stale. SpotHaving rarely interracted, Spot confuses Kit. Weither it's the voice that alarms him or the fact that she's a chicken is not certain, but there is something about her lively being, Kit finds stressfull. Guess it's mostly right. It sort of reflects my opinion on the characters, except for Rolly, who I actually find pretty funny.

Eh, not true really, I mean, I have different feelings about the characters, but some of my characters do like Spot, like Luna and Ember, whilst some find her to be weird, like Pyro..... But yeah, I'd probabally do my characters at some point, like a small selection of them so to speak, but at the moment, I can't be bothered

Post by LoneWanderer Raiden on Mar 30, 2009 14:22:43 GMT -5
Hehe, interesting topic, Bab. ^^ RaidenLucky: Raiden thinks Lucky is cool and a great pup to hang out with. There are times though, where Raiden does think Lucky takes things a bit too far and can be a bit headstrong and arrogant, particularly in the worst of situations. Not to mention him being a bit of a gloryhound, which does slightly grind Raiden's gears. But he just remembers that he himself is actually quite similar, just that Raiden does tend to be a little more chill and easy-going than Lucky most of the time. Regardless, he still thinks Lucky is a great friend of his on the farm and finds Lucky his personal favorite to hang around with. Cadpig: Raiden is a little freaked out and/or annoyed by Cadpig and her "wisdom" at times, but overall... he doesn't mind Cadpig at all. He actually likes the fact that she is bright for her young age. In fact, he even thinks she's cute and sweet for the most part along with only meaning well and caring very much for her friends. He respects that and finds her fairly easy to get along with for the most part. It's just simply difficult to be in a bad mood around her as she has the ability to brighten almost anyone's day. Rolly: Raiden... honestly doesn't know what to think about Rolly. It baffles him that he can eat the way he does and to be honest, it does gross him out a bit. But, one of Raiden's mottos is: live, let live. After all, it doesn't really bother him all that badly. Other than that, he does find Rolly to be decent as he knows, eating habits aside, that Rolly is actually a great pup to get along with... even if all he seems to think about is food. Spot: A chicken? O-okay... He definately does tend to find her more annoying than either Lucky when he's being an egotistical gloryhound or when Cadpig is spouting off her "words of Zen". But he does regard her with some respect. His overall feelings toward her are neutral, even though he wouldn't mind having some tasty BBQ wings.... mmm... *licks lips* Lol, just kidding. X3 SonyaLucky: Sometimes his sheer arrogance and meatheadedness does put her off, along with his trying to steal the spotlight... And often, she doesn't really agree with his outright foolhardy plans and brash actions. Still, she does think he's an overall decent person that does mean well... for the most part. She knows that, while he does get carried away and act like a stubborn, bossy dolt... at the end of the day, he does tend to learn his lesson and he truely does seem to care for his friends. Also, despite him putting his friends lives in danger at times, he does save the day and protect his friends. She just wishes he could show his soft, caring, sweet side more often like Raiden does. Other than that, she has no real quarrel with him. Cadpig: Now, she actually does like Cadpig quite a bit. She likes the fact that she's very bright and sweet/cheerful, she just can't help but to feel happy around Cadpig. She finds her wisdom, advice, and overall demeanor amusing and interesting. She thinks Cadpig is a kind, caring friend with lots of wisdom. Now, there are those rare days when Sonya's just not in the mood and Cadpig's wisdom only serves to agitate her... but for the most part, she likes it and appreciates the times when Cadpig hears her out, listens to her concerns, and attempts to cheer her up. She really enjoys her company and finds her to be her favorite out of the four. Rolly: Like Raiden, she doesn't really know what to say about Rolly. She does find his eating habbits a bit disgusting and off-putting. But overall, she thinks that beyond his propensity to eat everything in sight and his overweight appearance, that he really is a sweet and nice guy deep down. It saddens her... even angers her quite a bit to see so many people ignore him or worse, bully him because of his "problem". So, she tries to be as best of a friend she can to him. She has no real problem with him and does find him quite amusing... even intelligent to extent, when he's talking about more than just food. Spot: Despite the fact that her wanting to be a dog weirds her out a bit, her overall feelings toward Spot are neutral. She even likes her to an extent at times. MarcusLucky: Oh, how he despises the uppity little whelp... He finds him to be exactly like Raiden in everyway... only twice as irritating. At least in his opinion, Raiden tends to have a head on his shoulders compared to Lucky. The way he just barks out orders, strutting around like he owns the place... ugh. Marcus simply does not take orders from anyone beyond Izzy unless he views them worthy. That certainly isn't the case with Lucky, as he views him to be far from worthy in the slightest. He definately doesn't mind if something were to happen to him... In fact, he'd love to swiftly and effortlessly dispose of Lucky himself... But he finds worrying about this pest simply a huge waste of time as he views Raiden to be the greater threat. Regardless, overall, he is of no real concern to Marcus. Cadpig: While Marcus personally really could care less about her... he does have something of a respect for her relatively high intellect and such. However, he thinks she lacks discipline and direction on top of being sickeningly... nice. His overall opinion on her is neutral. Rolly: He finds Rolly to be completely repugnant, particularly in his eating habits. But tends to simply pay no attention to him either way. Spot: He'd rather eat her than sit down and have a conversation with her as he thinks chickens are among the stupidest birds... not to mention annoying. Still, his feelings toward her are neutral.

'K...I thought about it. Here's some of mine:
Roxy
Lucky
Roxy really, really likes Lucky a lot. She admires his fighting spirit and his knowledge of what he loves, fitting in perfectly with the 1980s attitude of "Kids, you can do anything!". She'll admit to having kissed him a few times but she's got enough respect for him and Two-Tone that she would leave her feelings at the door in conversation. At the same time, she finds him to be quite heroic--she figures he'd be the one to lead a charge against Diana and proudly tell her where she can kiss him. They are on good terms. He's her favorite of the four.
Rolly
Roxy likes Rolly. She admires his sense of humor and knowledge of food. She kisses him from time to time, but Lucky gets it more (just, well...not when he's eating). She wishes he'd be a little more assertive at times but she doesn't think of him as an 'emo'...she considers him a friend. They are on good terms.
Cadpig
Roxy might find herself at odds with Cadpig the most. Their tastes are quite different and Roxy has a tendency to prefer being around boys anyway. Roxy finds her to caring and sweet at times but is rather confused when she 'mood swings' into being violently angry (but won't say anything to her face out of fear of being thrashed). And no, she's never kissed Cadpig. Good terms but of the three pups, Cadpig is probably her least favorite.
Spot
Uhh...she's a fox. Spot's a chicken. Foxes and chickens don't mix.
Just kiddin' folks. While Roxy's pretty much harmless, Spot has no reason to trust her.
Sanka
Lucky
Sanka admires Lucky for his confidence in doing what's right and finds his tastes to be quite cool. He'd be willing to trust Lucky on certain things and would happily advise him on what to do in a tight spot. He'd proudly stand with Lucky in doing the hero thing and make sure everyone's going out okay. He might want Lucky to try to plan stuff out better than just charge in head first but he considers Lucky a great friend.
Rolly
Sanka thinks Rolly would look good in some Hawaiian clothing.
Again, just kidding. He likes Rolly's openness towards Jamaican cuisine and his knowledge about food is quite impressive. He'd be happy to sit and chat with him. They are on good terms. For him, he'd probably think it'd be a toss-up as to wheter him or Lucky is his favorite.
Cadpig
He admires that she is sunny many times, but her mood swings are a little off-putting. Some of what Cadpig says and does Sanka may find a little freaky and might wish that she is a little more down-to-earth. He wouldn't go for Cadpig (Two-Tone and Jewel are more like it), but he likes her.
Spot
Spot might have the least imput as far as he knows, but he has no qualms with her.
Diana
Lucky
Being on the evil side, she is of course on bad terms with Lucky. She does, however, find Lucky to be quite a fighter in terms of his 'never-say-die' attitude, and maybe if he didn't care so much about Thunderbolt as he does about the villains, she might try to persuade him into becoming a villain (of course that wouldn't happen though). She doesn't necessarily like that he prefers to be a good guy. He'd probably be the one she would want the least change from.
Rolly
Being on the evil side, she is of course on bad terms with Rolly. Basically, she would force him to undergo liposuction once the farm is under her power.
Cadpig
Being on the evil side, she is of course on bad terms with Cadpig. Diana would probably prefer to rip her heart out rather than deal with her...but she doesn't because it'd only get her in trouble.
Spot
Diana takes no real notice of Spot. If she does, it'd only be to avoid Spot attempting to sabotage one of her plans.
Tammy
Lucky
Tammy likes Lucky. He's got moxie.
Rolly
Rolly's alright.
Cadpig
Tammy isn't smart enough to understand Cadpig.
Spot
Tammy isn't smart enough to understand Spot.
