Okay, I'm going to do a game review thread for myself, based on some games I've played and all that, so yeah...
---
Game: "Shadow of the Colossus"
Gaming Platform: PS2
Genre: Adventure, Action
Ah yes, Shadow of the Colossus, one of the games I had found quite interesting and unique too.
You basically start off as The Wanderer who brings a girl named Mono, on the back of his horse Agro.
Now, Wanderer wants to revive Mono, so he asks Dormin, a spirit voice, if he can help. Dormin replies by saying that he can, only if he can kill all 16 Colossi on the huge landscape.
Now this is where you come in really, you are The Wanderer and with the help of Agro must encounter, fight and kill all 16 of the Colossi.
Each battle is quite unique, as killing the Colossi require a way to climb up onto them and stabbing at each weak point until their health is fully depleted.
Now, the landscape and scenery, that is just amazing as well, not to mention...no loading screen either so, it's pretty huge.
I have not yet beaten the game on the first mode, as the final Colossi is just plain annoying to climb.
Though, apparantly, after beating it on normal mode, you get hard mode, beat that, and time attack mode becomes available, beat that, and guess what? The next time attack is available, the hard time attack mode, beat that, and I think that's all.
Also, another good feature is that you can also go back and re-fight the Colossi you had defeated, so really, there's no end to the game.
My Rating: 9.9/10 (Not quite perfect, just cause I want more Colossi to slay )
