Now this idea... I got after experiencing the first day of my new classes for this quarter.
Basically, after an rp has say.. gone on for a while, or even a little bit of time. If the rp's creator wants to say, get rid of the post order, I think they should be able to.
I suggest this cause, like my reason said above. It's hard keeping track of all the turn skips on a Pages document, especially when I'm not on and a skip has to be made.
Like example, since Paws isn't on, we could get rid of the order in her 'Sleepover' rp. But IF we do, you guys have to keep yourselfs from urging to reply after each single response. Like, 2 people can't just go off on their 'own thing', and keep going for 3 pages of the rp in like 3 minutes o.o
So, what do you guys think?
In addition, this would mean people who say.. missed 6 turns, would be allowed back in! ;3

I made a suggestion to Bab a few months back, where instead of a Post Order...well, I can't think of the term but instead of an order you simply have to wait until there's 2 or 3 replies (or more, depending on how many people are in said RP) before you can post again.
It's more of a 'middle ground' between a post order and getting rid of it completely.

But I'm gonna wait for more input. Though we're not getting RID of the post orders permanetly. We're just making them an option if you want them.

I support it but I like Bishop's idea where people wait for 2 or 3 turns and we could throw in if a certain person doesn't post they get skipped until the next day like if it were me and Hesso Me:post Hesso:post Nemo jumps in:post then me and Hesso post but are waiting on Nemo so after the preset period of time we carry on sorta a combo platter

I am supportive of this and Bishop's idea. I never liked post orders.

Well thank ye General. I do like them because it keeps things organized and you don't wake up to 5 new pages within the rp.
But everything in the world does have its downsides. I mean I've been so busy with my college classes and work, I've missed a few of my turns w/o even realizing =/ which in a way has put me in an rp-slump/not really wanting to rp.
I think I will put this idea into action right now.
IF ANYONE HAS AN RP WITH A POST ORDER THEY WOULD LIKE TO REMOVE, YOU MAY DO SO.
Example: Two-Tone could remove her post order in 'The New Generation' rp if she wishes. As Kit could remove his from Power Shortage rp if he likes. Since those are their rp's.
But I would like (if you decide to remove your post order) you to make it clear in a reply to this topic AND in a reply to your rp's discussion topic please. And PLEASE be courteous to others by not replying after each reply is made, give others a chance to respond!
Thank you
~Nemo

I still think this is a wonderful idea. Besides, I was getting stressed when finding out when it was my turn in the rps.
And Bishop ^^ Not a bad idea dude =)

This is a lovely idea; the post order thing didn't work out too well for me here on the forum, and that could be why I've been a bit hesitant on joining in. It's understandable as to why some of the RPs have them, but I must say, I have never really done it before. ^^; Having the option /not/ to have a post order is great though - I think I'll be more likely to join RPs without a particular order. :3 Of course, there are always going to be those 'eager beavers' who treat a forum RP more like a live RP (I've had this happen waaaay too many times at my other forum, where I came on to find myself nearly 8 pages behind in no more than a day. That's just ridiculous. x'D); however, I believe it is possible to be put under control given regulations. I agree with both Nemo and Bishop's ideas - that gives a little more of a limitation so that it doesn't leave the characters of those of us who are busy pages behind. Good to see we're going to have an option for this in the future now. Can't wait to get back into forum RPing again ! -has not done so in... a very very longish time- @_@;
