Okay, so let's get this straight. Pongo and Perdita were the two lead characters in the original movie, in other words, the stars. However, in the series, the stars are three of the 99 puppies (all of which are coincidentally in Pongo and Perdita's original litter) and a random chicken.
In the series, Pongo and Perdita didn't really do much. However, they did play some important roles in a few of the episodes. The following is a list of episodes where Pongo and Perdita both played a prominent role:
Home is Where the Bark Is The Dogs of De Vil No Train, No Gain A Christmas Cruella Lucky to Be Alone Four Stories Up You Say It's Your Birthday Spots and Shots Lord of the Termites Fountain of Youth Cruella World Food for Thought Film Fatale Snow Bounders Poison Ivy Splishing and Splashing Humanitarian of the Year Un-Lucky The Making Of... Animal House Party Dalmatian Vacation
I am fairly sure that Pongo and/or Perdita were featured in each of those episodes, but I could be wrong on some, and they could have appeared in others.

Well, They do Lamp Shade the fact why they're not Central Roles in "The Making Of...", where they talked about it. I believe, It was they were aiming it for Younger Audience, etc.
Hey, At least it beats, James Bond JR. where they made the central role, his nephew whom we've never heard about before that. ^^;
Of course, I think, Perdita was just Mentioned in "Spots & Shots". Cadpig saying "Mother says, we need to get shots so we don't become sick..." etc.
Would that still count as them making an impact in the Episode? ;3
Also, They do play a pretty Big Part in "No Train, No Gain", so you can add them to that Area too. Also, Appear in, "Film Fatale" as well. =3
I will say, I love their Scene in "Splishing & Splashing", when it shows, Perdita is more on the one of Discipline when Pongo asks if Banning them from Hiccup Hole until they apologise, is being Harsh. The Reactions they make, are Hilarious. X3
What type of Relationship, you think they have in "101 Dalmatians The Series" then?
Still, I can see they did make some Decent Amount of Appearances, Around about 1/3 of the Episodes. =3
What do you, Pups think on the matter then? *Hugs* X3

Well, They do Lamp Shade the fact why they're not Central Roles in "The Making Of...", where they talked about it. I believe, It was they were aiming it for Younger Audience, etc. Well, this is true, but all of Disney's movies were pretty much aimed at all audiences. Yeah, Perdita was mentioned in the episode, so I guess that would somewhat count. Really? I don't remember that. Of course, since that's one of the few episodes that I hate, then it is quite obvious that I refuse to ever watch it. Ah, yeah! I forgot about that! What do you mean by that? You are right on that. That is good for the sake of die-hard fans of the original movie...just so long as they're not so obsessed with them that they keep begging Disney to make more episodes with them even though the show's been canceled for over a decade. If anyone is curious about the roles they play in the episodes I listed, I'd be glad to explain. However, there are two exceptions. I don't know about their role in "No Train, No Gain", and I actually can't fully recall if they were in "Humanitarian of the Year" or not.
