Like*The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride- Although I never got to see the full thing of this until, well, this summer really, I liked it a whole lot. It was what a sequel should be.
*Lady and the Tramp 2- Another example of what a good sequel should be. This movie I absolutely adore, as it's got action, adventure, and just every good element from the first film carried on to the second. Interestingly enough, I own it on VHS and I got a plush of Angel from it <3
*Lion King 1 1/2
*Toy Story 2&3- With Toy Story 2, I'm pretty sure it was the first of the two that I saw, and I loved it. It makes for an interesting story. So, when they started showing promos for Toy Story 3, I immediately wanted to see it. My little sister got to see it before I did for her birthday (and ironically, Alfie and I watched the first TS that day), and I begged and pleaded to go see it. And when I did, I was impressed and in total love with it.
*Bambi 2- Nice little midquel. Starting to appreciate it more than I did.
*Fox and the Hound 2- This one had a good concept, and it was a nice little elaboration on Tod and Copper's adventures as kids. Plus, it was one of Patrick Swazye's final roles, and the music is near kickass.
*Return to Neverland- I'm a fairly big fan of this one ;D I really like Jane and I like how they expanded everything.
*101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure- Paws remembers a time when she was obsessed with this movie! I love it, one of the better sequels that were made. Patch got a huge spotlight, which I really liked. And Thunderbolt... ohhh Thunderbolt... XD
*The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea- As I'm getting older, I'm starting to appreciate this one more. I love Melody! Although when I was younger I couldn't sit through it because Morgana scared the crap outta me...
*Tinker Bell- THIS is one of the only CGI spinoff sequels that I actually really, really like. Disney did a good job conjuring this one up and putting it all together, something that if I ever have kids, I'm going to show them this movie. It's good. And they did a good job tying up loose ends and prequel-ing Peter Pan, which I liked.
*Kronk's New Groove- Surprisingly enough, I saw this before I saw the original Emperor's New Groove. And this is where my love for Kronk comes from. I really enjoyed this sequel for everything it's worth.
*Cinderella II- This one was good, and it had an interesting concept with all the short tales and stuff. I liked this one a whole lot.
*Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas- The first of the two Christmas movies that I've seen, and I really love this one. Like, a lot.
*Dumbo II- Okay, so this one never made it past production and storyboards. And it got scrapped or forgotten or something. BUT, based on the teaser trailer that I saw for it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEOs2zR6jD8), and the way that they described everything, I know right away that I would have liked it.
INBETWEEN*The Hunchback of Notre Dame II- Interesting concept, but it's sort of meh. They should have just left the first one to be by itself, but Madelline was an interesting addition.
*Pocahontas II- Another one that should have just been left alone, but there were a few elements in it that were pretty good. Such as following the real story of Pocahontas and having her marry John Rolfe (I think that's him?).
*Tarzan 2- It seems interesting, not really sure what to think of it besides it being another midquel.
*Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch- I wasn't really sure what to think of this one and it didn't particularly interest me that much. After watching some bits of it, it's ok in my mind. I think I need to watch the whole thing.
DISLIKE*Brother Bear 2- It just shouldn't be... really, it shouldn't. Nita wasn't that good of an addition.
*Cinderella III- It gave an interesting concept, but no. Didn't like this one like I liked the second one.
*Pooh's Grand Adventure: Search for Christopher Robin- Parts of this scared me so badly when I was little, it's not funny. I only vaguely remember seeing this, and honestly, I didn't like it.
*Aladdin: The Return of Jafar & The King of Thieves- The first one was enough, wasn't it? These shouldn't really be here.
*Atlantis: Milo's Return- No. Just no.
*Mulan 2- There was just something that wasn't appealing at ALL about this one.
*The Jungle Book 2- I remember this was the only DVD of any kind pertaining to the Jungle Book that we had (we've got the original on VHS). Watched it once, was disinterested, hated it, not going back there.
*The Aristocats 2- Okay, this was another one that got scrapped. But, I think I know right off the bat that I wouldn't like it. The first one was enough for me.
