It had been a beautiful sunny day at the Dearly's farm, and they decided it could be a great idea to go camping that day. After all, there had been no rain for a while now, and it was very likely that there wasn't rain today either. After all, there was not a single cloud in the sky. They got settled on a large field with several trees, every group of puppies having their own tent. Of course, the night eventually came, so they had to set a fire to light up the camp and to stay warm.
The pups had a lot of dog biscuits spilled everywhere, since they had been eating some of them lately. They could still be eaten, the gress was not dirty. A lonely pup walked outside her tent. Artemis grabbed one of those biscuits in the ground and happily nommed on it. A chill ran down her spine as she noticed how dark the place was. Darkness was one of her worst fears, especially when there were strange noises and sounds. And this night, there were a lot of them. Owls in the trees, squirrels squeaking, and every now and then there was a crecking on the soil that reasambled steps.
Artemis shrunk with fear and walked close to the fire. She laid down as close as she could be without getting burned, looking like a scared furball.

"Mmm.. what a great trip" spoke the voice of a runt, who was starting to be well known among the Dearly Dalmatians. Strutting out of the tent, was the skull capped wearing female known as Nemo, her blue eyes quickly locked onto the fire, intrigued by it.
Padding her way over (while picking up some biscuits and.. putting them in her hat for storage) Nemo made her way and sat down by the fire. She waited for some of her friends to come out, but peering to her right, she noticed an unfamiliar dalmatian with many spots curled up as if she was scared.
"Hey uh.. you okay?" Nemo asked, as she poked Artemis' head with her right paw.
Meanwhile inside a close by tent, Envi and Lusious were talking with a group of other dalmatians.

Artemis was about to fall asleep just when she felt someone touching her head. "Hmm?" Her head rised up, still shivering a bit in fear Analyzing the dog with her gaze, Art finally spoke up. "Hi. Y-yes, I am alr-right, it is just..." She looked at the dark sky, which gave her another sudden shudder. "It i-is dark and lo-onely out here." The dalmatian said, trying to keep herself from letting a whimper escape her. She rose up to a sitting position and looked at Nemo, head titling to the side.
"Anyway, my name is Artemis." Her fear appeared to be gone, just as she let the curiosity for this dalmatian to overtake it. "And you are... I think I've heard about you before. You are sort of popular among the dalmatians. I think you are..." she paused, thinking for a moment, "Nemo, right?"

Meanwhile, close to the fire side, Two Other Dalmatians, laid on their Back, looking upwards towards the Stars. One was Male, with a Red Collar, Black Ears and a Spot, almost looking like a Blob, on his back and an Asterisk Spot on his Right Foreleg. The Second was Female, Her eyes were a Clear Sky Blue, with spots which looked similar to that of a dragons, over her snow white fur too, she sported a fuchsia collar, however, that said female didn't really like the Pink look to it.
"Spot any Frost Dragons yet, Clayton?" The Female asked, to the Male beside her. "Not that I can see yet..." Clayton shook his head "Although, I do see plenty of Stars...They do look nice, don't they, Kendra?" "Yeap!" Kendra smiled "Very much so, They always have a Magic to them."
The Two however, perked up, when they heard Nemo's voice near the fire. Clayton got to his Paws and noticed Nemo talking to Artemus "Hey, Nemo!" he waved his Paw and saw Artemus "Hello..." he smiled. Kendra herself had already climbed to her Paws "You alright there?" she looked to Artemus Concerned look.

"Isn't that a boy's name?" Nemo joked, letting out a brief laugh. "Haha, I kid I kid. And yep, that's my name" the runt nodded. "As for the dark.. we got a fire here" Nemo held her paws out towards it, to get warm. "Though, this is NOTHIN compared to what I've been through, but.. that's a random story I don't wanna bore you with, haha."
(sry Bab, we posted at the same time so I didn't see your response)

Artemis also laughed briefly at Nemo's joke, and looked at her with a friendly smile on her face. "Well, it is nice to meet you, Nemo." she said with a wag of her tail. "I know we have a fire here but..." she looked around for a second, "It is much smaller than the place alone..." if her story was scary, Art knew she didn't want to now. She was scared enough already.
Artemis's ears perked up at the sound of new voices. She turned to them seeing a male dalmatian with a weird asterisk spot on his foreleg and a female dalmatian next to him. Her head titled once again, as she looked at them curiously. "Hi." she simply said, and then answered Kendra's question. "Yes, I am alright. I am just not... fond of the darkness."

Bishop sat with his back to the campfire, a small box of cookies he had stolen from the house lay next to his paws as he gazed thoughtfully into the forest. The pup wasn't doing anything in particular, although it might have seemed as if he was waiting.
Rogue was taking a more active role, treading in between the various tents to find others who were still awake. "Oh, hello!" She spoke cheerfully and gave a small wave upon noticing a small gathering, recognising a few.
"I don't think I know you," Rogue said to Artemis. "How long have you been here? And is something wrong - cold, maybe?" She asked, noting how close Artemis was situated to the fire.

Artemis noticed yet another female speaking to her, and she turned her head towards Rouge. "Hey there." She said in a happy tone of voice, it looked like she had called some attention. "No, I doubt we know each other. My name is Artemis, pleased to meet you." the pup spoke with a smile on her bface, eyes not fixed at anyone in particular, but moving from side to side to look at each and every pup present. "I've actually been here as long as any of us. I am just not the attention caller type. In fact, I'd rather not be noticed most of the time. But I am happy around others when they do give me attention." she cheerfully said.
"As for the cold... No, I am not really cold. It is just... I fear the drakness it is so uncertain and scary... You can't even watch where you step..." She took a deep breath and looked at the fire, "And this is the only thing providing me light right now."

As the stars washed over the black of the night sky, two female puppies – a pair of blood related sisters that lived together on the farm – huddled inside their tent. Although the two of them were very close to each other, it could be noted that they were quite opposite from one another in personality. Ever since they had come to the Dearly Farm, however, the two of them had always slept together; a tradition they had kept up, since the older of the sisters always felt the burden of responsibility to watch over and protect her often rambunctious little sibling. The younger, Growlie, felt herself staring through the flap of their tent and into the slit that led into the outside world. As much as she tried, she just couldn't fall asleep – going camping with the other pups was so exciting, and as much as she tried to relax herself, she couldn't keep her eyes shut for longer than 5 seconds before she found herself sitting up again, ideas of adventure and fun whizzing through her brain. How was one supposed to get any sleep at all when there were so many things to look forward to?! Growlie then perked her ears when she heard the light footsteps of another pup walking past her tent, followed by a bit of chatter. Voices and footsteps? That had to mean there were other puppies awake, didn't it? She wondered what they were doing or talking about, and suddenly felt the overwhelming urge to find out. Jumping to her feet, Growlie inspected her sleeping sister, Ginger – she knew that Ginger was probably tired, and would most likely be grumpy if she woke her up during the night. Her deep snoring as her mind occupied itself in Dream Land told Growlie that much; and she knew from all-too-much experience that her sister was never really thrilled to be interrupted in the middle of a dream. I'll just venture out and see what's going on, and return before Ginger even knows I'm missing, the female planned in her head as she gave her sister one last glance before bringing herself outside. She felt a little guilty about leaving her sister there, but she knew her curiosity was going to kill her from suspense if she continued sitting in there and wondering what was going on beyond their tent. Padding out of the tent, Growlie finally met with the night air and the refreshing scents of nature. She instantly noticed a small gathering of pups near the campfire and tilted her head, squinting as she tried to see better in the night. She began to trot toward them when she accidentally stepped on a dog biscuit, crunching it. Gleefully, the clumsy pup bounced back from tripping on the tasty morsel and bent down to eat it before skipping joyfully toward the fire. She noticed several biscuits on the ground in her path, which she was happy to munch on as she skipped along, the features of her spotted coat becoming more prominent the closer she approached the fire. She found herself humming along she went, eying the small congregation of puppies that had come together. She recognised some, though she was a little uncertain whether she had met some of the others. In any case, she approached them all with a large grin, cutting in (a bit rudely, but not intentionally so) to any conversation that happened to be going on at the time. “Hiya!” she exclaimed in a rather loud voice, her tail suddenly whipping behind her, “What's going on? Are we telling fun campfire stories?!” OC: Blah, sorry it was long... my first posts are always long for some reason. The following posts will be shorter, my apologies. ;

Art's ears perked at the sound of yet another pup (not surprisingly, seeing how big the family was) bounced into the conversation, not caring much about if she had interrupted others of not. "Hi." Atemis said, still in a happy tone, "Not really, we are... well, I am getting to know others better. I don't think that I know you, do I?" she asked, looking at the newly arrived pup. "Anyways, my name is Artemis. Or art, for friends. Nice to meet you."

Meanwhile, two other Dalmatian puppies were with Clayton and Kendra laying down stargazing. One pup had star-shaped spots all around his body and always wore a black cape. The other pup had bead-pattern spots around her neck, around the end of her forepaws, her legs, and the end of her hind legs. Their names were Shadow and Rosalina.
"The stars sure look amazing doesn't it Clayton?" Shadow asked wanting to start a conversation with Clayton which he wanted to strenghthen his brotherlike friendship with him "I really love the stars of the night. They look like ten million fireflies as they light up the world as we are asleep. And the stars also keep me calm and serene whenever I am distressed about something too." he said to Clayton "Tell me Clayton, what are your thoughts on the millions of stars that complete the night sky?"
Meanwhile Rosalina turned her head and noticed Artemis. She blinked as she first didn't know who she was, but she took it as an opportunity to get to know the new canine "Ummmm...hello...my name is Rosalina, but you can call me Rosie for short" Rosalina said introducing herself

Whoa. Artemis knew the family was big, but she had never expected to call so many attention. She turned to look at the bead-like spotted pup and happily greeted her, "Hi, Rosie. My name is Artemis, but you may call me Art, easier to remember." She said with another wag of her tail and a friendly smile."Pleased to meet you. I had never expected to be noticed by so much pups at the same time, but I could get used to it." She joked, letting out a bried laugh.

Nemo let out a yawn, watching as more of her friends introduced themselves to the new pup. "Uh guys.. hello??? I'm here, to!" The runt yelped/barked, to try and get some attention.
Envi meanwhile poked her head out of the tent, seeing the familiar faces, she walked out and headed towards the campfire. "Hi Rosalina!" She wagged her tail, then looked from Kendra, to Rouge, and to Artemis. "Oh, hey Nemo" Envi nudged her friend lightly, smiling.
"Ah, hey" the runt sighed.
(yeah.. waaaay too long a post Growlie XD and slow down please, guys! I'm gonna be a little busy today. Don't wanna come back to 3+ pages to catch up on.)

Clayton blinked as he noticed Shadow "AH! Hey Shadow..." He wagged "Yeah, Almost as good as your Spot Pattern!" he smiled and then heard Shadow's monologue on stars "Which song did you get those lyrics from?" As Clayton chuckled, he noticed back to Artemis "You seem her around before?" he asked to Shadow, smiling again as they approached Arty.
"Well, You need to confront darkness somewhen." Kendra spoke to Artemis response on the dark "If you don't, you won't learn what's within it or learn more on yourself."

(Soory about that, Nemo.)
Artemis smiled as she paid attention to Shadow and Clayton's conversation, but her attention was turned at Kendra again when she spoke. "Iknow I should, but its just..." She looked back at a side of the forest faraway from the camp, where it was pitch black. "Its just so scary in there. And... ghosts could come out and get us... or a bear could attack us... or we could fall into a river and drown!"
