In a small house live four weather Dalmatians, two of them adult dogs and two of them puppies.
The adults are in the kitchen, making a lot of food for their guests who will be arriving that night. One of the adults is a male with a blue collar and crescent moon-shaped spots named Moony, the other is a large female with an aqua collar and raindrop-shaped spots named Rainy.
The puppies are each in a different bedroom, getting ready for the night before the guests arrive. One of the pups is a male with a black collar and cloud-shaped spots named Cloudy, the other is a female with a yellow collar and sun-shaped spots named Sunny. Cloudy is making sure he is looking his best for the guests, while Sunny is practicing on how to greet Greylene and her family.
"Hi, Greylene!" Sunny said to a stuffed Greyhound on one side of the room she is in. "Welcome to my home. I see you brought over your family."
While Sunny and Cloudy are getting ready, Moony and Rainy placed all the prepared food on the dining room table. Specifically, the food for this dinner are mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, three different kinds of salads (toss salad, potato salad, and egg salad), fried chicken, turkey, three different kinds of pasta (spaghetti, linguini, and tortellini), garlic bread, hot dogs, bratwursts, burgers (regular burgers and veggie burgers), and celery and carrot sticks with ranch dip.
"That's a lot of food we just fixed up here, Rainy," said Moony.
"Yes, we're going to have a lot of guests over for dinner tonight," said Rainy. "The patio furniture is all set up outside. We don't want the dining room to get crowded."
Moony and Rainy started to take the food to the backyard through the back door.
"Sunny is going to be so excited to see Greylene coming over with her family," said Rainy, putting some of the food on one of the tables.
"I hope Sunny will be comfortable about this," said Moony, putting more of the food on another table. "Remember what Cloudy foolishly said to her about them?"
"I do, and we'll get to the bottom of this when we're all having our dinner."
