You may've heard other versions of this by me, so to speak, but this is one I wrote up, since it seemed to suit him a bit more better really.
Alright, I don't own any of the charcters in this fanfic, but for Drake, Dixie and Clause, the others are with their respective owners.
I don't own Disney (Though, I would love to), so Lucky and the others belong to them.
And so you all know, Drake was one of the first on the farm, him Tac and I'm only guessing that Star was too.
Now for the story (d**n I can talk, so sorry about that):
He ran into a nearby alleyway with a freaked out look on his face as he ran straight into some trash cans, knocking them over and causing him to just stop, gasping and looking around as the rain had continued to pour down. He only gave a quick gulp as he went and just laid down on the ground where he was, not caring that it was wet and raining.
“You’re going to get a cold you know” a voice called to him, but he didn’t even move. She gave a quick groan and walked over to him “Are you okay?”
“Yeah…” he told her with an unconvincing voice.
“Look, I can tell when someone’s alright, and you, are not alright”
He looked over at her “Tell me what happened”
“I’d rather not” he replied.
“Then, at least tell me your name”
“Drake” he told her.
“Well Drake, I’m Dixie, nice to meet you” Dixie told Drake.
“Yeah…whatever…” was all Drake had said, not sounding enthusiastic at all.
“Hey, I’m trying to be nice here” Dixie said.
After a pause, Dixie piped up again “Why aren’t you with your family?”
“That’s cause…I don’t have any family…” replied Drake with a sigh.
“Oh? What happened?” Dixie asked, sounding curious.
“I’d…I’d rather not talk about it” answered Drake.
“Oh, ok then, but you should at least get out of the rain; otherwise, you are going to get a cold”
“And go where? I got nowhere to go” answered Drake.
“Well, I’m actually staying at this place, it’s an old abandoned building, so if you want to join me, you can” Dixie said as she headed off.
All then went silent until a voice spoke up “Ah, let her go, you don’t need her” at that moment, Drake’s Shoulder Devil appeared.
“What do you mean, ‘let her go’?” asked Drake’s Shoulder Angel.
“Simple, he just doesn’t need her, sure she’s cute and all…” Drake’s Shoulder devil begun before being butted in by the angel.
“Which is why you should go talk to her, I mean, she is offering you to go and stay with her” the angel told Drake.
“Yeah…but my…family…” Drake said sadly.
“What about them? They’re no longer here” the devil said with a quick laugh.
Drake went and swiped at the devil, only to have the devil disappear then reappear again.
“So, you just going to let her go?” asked the angel.
Drake then stood up as the angel gave the devil a confident look before they disappeared as Drake left the alleyway.
Dixie was in her own, abandoned place as the door opened. She turned and saw Drake enter “You came after all” she said walking over to him.
“Yeah…” replied Drake with a sigh.
“You okay? You still seem a bit upset” Dixie said to Drake.
“Yeah, I’ll…I’ll be fine…” replied Drake and headed off to the corner of the building and just laid down where he was.
After a while of sleeping, Drake jerked up with a gasp and quickly looked around to realize he was still where he was “Oh…it was only a dream…” he muttered to himself as he looked and saw Dixie asleep next to him.
Without saying anything, he decided to walk off, out of the building and down to the wharf “I thought I’d find you here” Dixie said from behind him.
Drake didn’t turn around even though he knew it was her “So, what’s up?” Dixie asked him.
“It’s…it’s nothing…” replied Drake.
“Don’t give me any of that Drake, I can tell that something’s up, and I know, something’s up with you” Dixie told Drake.
Drake then went silent, without a reply “So, tell me, I mean, it can’t be that bad, can it?” she asked him.
“You have no idea…” answered Drake.
“I would if you would just tell me” Dixie said straight away.
Drake then went silent again and sighed “It’s my family” he begun.
“Oh?”
“Well, there’s a problem with that, and that’s…they’ve been killed and…well…I’m the only one that’s left alive” replied Drake.
“I’m sorry to hear that Drake” Dixie told him.
“No, it’s not you, it’s someone who calls himself Clause Von Jorgen” replied Drake.
“I see” was all Dixie had said “And…what’s happened to him now?”
“Well, that…I’m not sure of, the house collapsed in a fire, which I believe that he did, after killing my family, but I don’t think he made it out either” answered Drake.
“Well, I hope you’re right on that one” Dixie told Drake.
“Yeah…” was all Drake answered back with a sigh.
“Tell me, where is the house?” Dixie asked Drake curiously.
“Why?” Drake asked back.
“I want to go and check myself” answered Dixie.
Drake then glanced at her “Don’t tell me, you don’t want me to get hurt, right?” Dixie asked.
“Yeah, that’s it” replied Drake.
“Well, hate to break it to you, but I actually can do that kind of stuff, no sweat” answered Dixie.
“Fine then, it’s this way” Drake said as he got up and headed off with Dixie walking next to him.
Once they arrived at the site of the house, Dixie automatically went over and begun looking around “What are you looking for?” Drake asked.
“That Clause guy” replied Dixie “I mean, we gotta make sure he’s dead for sure”
“Yeah, I guess so…” Drake then went and joined Dixie to search the rubble of the building.
After a little while of searching, Dixie came across something “Hey, Drake, over here, I think I found something” it was a hand sticking out of a pile of rubble.
Though, the hand had twitched “Uh, Drake…” was all she started to say before the hand moved some more.
Before long, the rubble moved aside as the person sat up. Dixie couldn’t help but just stare as Drake came into view “Dixie! Run!” he yelled out.
Dixie snapped out of the small trance and bolted for it, followed closely by Drake.
Clause Von Jorgen was his name as he then stood up, grabbed the big axe that was lying on the ground next to him, rested it on his shoulder and looked around.
Drake and Dixie, however, just kept on running until they got back to the building “I…I think we lost him” Drake said with a pant.
“Was that him?” asked Dixie.
Drake only gave a nod “Quite scary actually, never seen anything like him before” Dixie continued on.
“You mean, you were actually scared?” Drake asked back.
“Yeah…” answered Dixie.
“Heh, now that’s new” Drake added in before looking over at Dixie who was still pretty freaked out, so he walked over to her “Hey, relax, I know how it is” he continued to tell her.
Dixie looked at him and just smiled.
“So, what do you suppose we do?” asked Dixie.
“You know what? I’m not actually sure really…” answered Drake.
A small thud was heard on the door, and then again, and again until the door fell down and there stood none other than Clause Von Jorgen “Come on out little puppy dogs…” was all he had said as he stepped in.
He searched all around, but couldn’t seem to find them though, as Drake and Dixie had escaped outside, and was heading down the streets rather quickly “Where’re we heading?” Dixie asked as they headed on.
“Anywhere safe, where Clause won’t find us…” replied Drake.
As they ran throughout the night, they came across a farm of some sort “This may have to do for now…” Drake said scanning the area.
“How about in there?” asked Dixie motioning to a bus.
“I guess that’ll have to do for now” answered Drake as the two managed to get in through an open window.
Morning came after a while as Lucky, Cadpig and Rolly noticed the buss window open “That’s strange, Roger normally closes all the windows of the bus” Lucky commented.
Though, at that point, Drake had popped his head out of the bus as he and Dixie got of.
“Who are they?” asked Rolly.
“Beats me” replied Lucky.
“Maybe we should go ask” suggested Cadpig.
Though, Drake and Dixie had walked over to them “Uh hi, we’re new around here, but was wondering if you’ve seen a big, German looking, military, kind of guy?”
“Nope” they all reply at the same time.
“Whew, we’re safe then” Drake said.
“Safe? From what?” asked Lucky.
“That’s none of your concern” Drake seems to snap back.
“Hey! What was that for?” asked Lucky.
Drake only gave a short glare at him “Sorry about him, we’ve been having trouble at the moment from a serial killer” replied Dixie “Anyway, I’m Dixie and he’s Drake”
“Oh, well, I’m Lucky, that’s Cadpig and that’s Rolly” Lucky told them “So, who’s the military guy that’s after you?”
“His name is Clause Von Jorgen” replied Dixie.
“Sounds dangerous” added in Rolly.
“He is” answered Dixie “He was the one that killed Drake’s family”
“I’m so sorry to hear that” Cadpig told Drake.
“And why should you have to be sorry for?” asked Drake.
“Well, it’s just that you’ve lost your family and all, and…” Cadpig was then cut off by Drake.
“There’s nothing to be sorry about” he told her.
At that point, a gunshot was heard as it struck a nearby tree “Uh-Oh” Dixie said.
“What is it?” asked Cadpig curiously.
“You best get your family out of here…it’s him” Drake told the others.
“You mean Clause?” asked Lucky.
Drake gave a nod “Now go!”
Lucky only hesitated before he took off as Dixie stood next to him “What are you doing?” he asked her.
“Helping you out” replied Dixie.
Drake looked over at her before he headed off to the middle of the farm followed by Dixie, standing in clear view.
All then went silent at first as the wind rushed by. However, it didn’t last very long as Clause Von Jorgen arrived on the farm.
He wore army based clothing as well as a hat too. He wielded a mini-gun, as well as a sniper rifle on his back alongside a sawn-off shotgun.
Drake and Dixie just stood their ground “Man, why does everything have to be violent?” asked Cadpig.
“Cadpig, now’s not the time for that” replied Lucky as they seemed to just watch on.
Clause gave a grin “I don’t know how you were able to escape from me, but enough games, time to die” and at that point, he starts up his mini-gun.
Drake and Dixie jumped aside to avoid the bullets “And once I kill you two, I shall claim my reward”
“Reward?” Drake asked to himself.
Clause continues to fire his mini-gun, doing his best to strike Drake and Dixie until he managed to run out of bullets, so he tosses it aside.
“We’ve got to lure him away from here, it’s too dangerous” Dixie told Drake.
“Right” replied Drake with a nod as the two bolted past Clause, heading off the farm. Clause turned, still unaware of the others on the farm and took off after the two of them.
“I have a funny feeling that Cruella’s behind this, I mean, just think about it, reward for killing Dalmatians? A psychopathic killer? It all adds up” Lucky told them “So, come on” he said as he got ready to go.
“Wait Lucky, I’m going with you” Two-Tone said as she walked over to Lucky.
“Well, count me in” Cadpig added in.
“Well, alright, but we have to be back before dinner” added in Rolly as the four of them headed off towards Cruella’s.
The four of them arrive at Cruella’s and peer into see Cruella speaking to Horace and Jasper “How long does it take to kill one measly street-mutt?” Cruella asked, sounding really annoyed “Clause should have been here half an hour ago, what’s taking him so long?”
“Maybe he got distracted” replied Horace.
“And what would he be distracted with?” asked Cruella with a glare.
Lucky and the others listened in “I knew it, Cruella is behind it” Lucky told them.
“She must be back to her old evil ways again” Two-Tone added in.
“Or maybe she’s finishing off what she started” Cadpig said.
“Cadpig, why would she do that?” asked Two-Tone with a raised eyebrow.
“Well, Clause did kill Drake’s family”
“Uh, Drake?”
“The one who was facing off with Clause before” added in Lucky.
“Oh, him” replied Two-Tone “He must be the street-mutt Cruella’s talking about”
“So, what do we do then?” asked Rolly.
“We gotta go and help them, that’s what” replied Lucky as he took off followed by the others.
Drake ran into the dump followed by Dixie “Is he coming?” asked Dixie.
“I don’t know” replied Drake “But I hope he is”
At that point, Clause arrived in the dump, where Drake and Dixie looked at him “Any ideas?” asked Dixie.
“I’m thinking, I’m thinking” replied Drake as he was looking around at his surroundings.
As he was looking around, he couldn’t seem to find anything as Clause pulled out his sawn-off shotgun, aiming it at both Drake and Dixie.
“If he hits us with that, we’ll both be either badly injured, or we could die” Drake told Dixie before pausing “Go”
“What?”
“Go, get going…” Drake seemed to be more serious now.
Though, before Dixie could say anything, Clause gets ready to pull the trigger. At that moment, Dixie knocked Drake aside and took the hit instead.
“Dixie!” he looked over at Clause and growled at him.
Clause reaches into his pocket and pulls out a grenade, holding it in his hand, throwing it up and down “Come now, it’s not all that bad” he chuckled “You’ll be joining her shortly”
Clause then reaches for the pin of grenade as Drake charged at him “Sayonara, puppy dog”
He pulls the pin of the grenade just as Drake sinks his teeth into his leg. Though, Clause didn’t seem to hesitate at the bit, he seemed to have forgotten about the grenade as it then explodes in his hand, causing Drake to fly back a bit, hitting the ground fairly hard.
Clause stumbles back at the explosion before falling to the ground, bleeding all over.
Lucky and the others had arrived moments later “We’re…too late” Two-Tone said.
“No, we gotta make sure they’re still alive” replied Lucky as he ran over to Drake.
Drake had groaned in some pain as he managed to get up properly “Are you alright?” asked Lucky.
Drake only gave a nod before gasping “Dixie” he then heads over to Dixie, but it seemed as though, she was dead.
“Is she…?” asked Two-Tone.
“Looks like it” answered Lucky as they looked at Drake who was standing over Dixie. However, moments later, Drake had turned and begun to walk off, as he didn’t want to stay around much longer.
“Where are you going?” Cadpig asked him curiously.
“Beats me” replied Drake as he walked on.
Though, at that point, Lucky got an idea “How about you come back to the farm with us?”
Drake then stopped in his tracks as all goes silent “I mean, it will be better than seeing you go to no home at all” Lucky continued.
However, Drake didn’t seem to reply as he walked off again “Well, if you change your mind, come tell us” he called after him.
“We better get back, Roger’ll be wondering where we are” Two-Tone added in as the four then took off.
The next day had come by as everyone was out and about, playing and what have you. No one seemed to notice the Dalmatian waiting on the edge of the farm, watching them all, well, no one except for one “Who’s that?” asked the Dalmatian known as Star.
“Who?” Two-Tone asked back before looking over at Drake “Oh him, that’s Drake, he came by to visit earlier on, though, he didn’t stay for very long, Lucky even offered for him to stay, but he seemed to decline the offer, as he then walked off”
“Oh, really?” Star had asked back, seeming more interested.
“Yeah, but by the looks of it, he could be reconsidering Lucky’s offer” replied Two-Tone.
Though, Star didn’t seem to answer as she started to walk over to him “Star…” Two-Tone begun, but Star didn’t seem to hear her, or she did, but seemed to be ignoring her as she walked right over to Drake “Hi”
Though, Drake seemed to be silent for a while before he glanced over at Star “Um, are you going to say hi back?” she asked.
“Huh? Oh, sorry…” replied Drake.
“Are you okay?” asked Star, seeming a little concerned.
“Yeah” was all he said.
“No, something’s up” Star added in, as she could tell by the tone of his voice, that something was up “Come on, you can tell me”
Drake gave a sigh “It was one of my friends, she was killed earlier on”
“Oh” answered Star, now feeling a little guilty, having asked in the first place “I’m, sorry to hear that”
“It’s not your fault, so, no need to apologize” Drake told her.
“Oh, so, what are you doing here anyway?”
“I was going to take Lucky up on his offer, I mean, I actually have nowhere to go really, so, I guess I’ll see you around then” Drake then got up and walked onto the farm.

The End
